Certain that love and passion are fickle, Rhetta is content to settle for the sensible proposal of her mild-mannered boyfriend. Unfortunately, the rift between her fiancé and his estranged brother threatens their impending nuptials. When she agrees to reach out to her future brother-in-law, Rhetta has no idea he'll be her worst nightmare. The passionate, irrational alpha wolf isn’t interested in healing old wounds with his brother. He’s intent on taking a bite out of Rhetta.
Rory has wanted revenge since his brother caused the crippling injury that led his own fiancée to reject him. What better way to get payback than by seducing the bossy, managing woman his brother is set to marry? He’s certain such a prim and proper prude will be easy to get in his bed. What he doesn’t count on is the forbidden kiss that assures him she’s the true mate to his soul. Now Rory needs to convince Rhetta to do something wild — and choose him over his brother.
Moonfall is the third in a paranormal romance series full of alpha men and the strong, capable women that bend them to their knees. If you like a touch of magic in your romance novels, then you’ll love the witches, fairies, and wolves in the dystopian world of the moonkind. Each book in the Moonkind series is a standalone and can be enjoyed in any order.
This was so Insta! Insta love just from the start ...
Main h? I loved her! She was so different from other Mary Sues from romantic books. She was REALLY Alpha woman. Like really STRONG 💪 And I loved it! 😀
Her Fiancée? He was kind of afraid of her 🤔
Nice 💪😎
It would be better if main H didn't fell in love with main h after one night of passion, but it was quick read...
I was confused about their "mate" think. Were they really mates? Or just loved each other soooooo much to be like them? When I read books about "mates" it is always like they could see for the first time.... 🧐
And he told her that she is his fated mate, but was she?
It could be longer and I should give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐, but whatever 😀 I liked it!
oved it. First couple chapters I read was a little slow, but after that I just had to know what was going to happen. Rhetta has always been about being with someone who she can help not thinking about finding true love. She accepts Jordan's proposal because she knows it will be content. Jordan ask her to invite his brother to the wedding, who he has bee estranged to for years. Rory has hated his brother ever since a trap mangled his foot. What will Rory do when invited? What will Rhetta do when Rory goes for her? Can they both accept what is happening? What will Jordan do when he finds out? I received an ARC copy for my honest review.
I received a copy from the author and then found it on sale via the author's newsletter The story starts by showing us how much Rhetta is a micro-manager (or highly OCD, I'm not too sure). It got a bit on my nerves the way she was ordering Jordan around. Then she meets the brother, Rory, and does the same thing. I had a lightbulb moment. Jordan was a bootlicker in every sense of the word and with everyone around him. Rory was a lover and wanted to make sure Rhetta was happy. For sure, Rhetta would never have been happy with Jordan. Hilarious: "His own body held the same evidence of bite marks and scratches and indents where she’d dug into his skin. He was uncertain if at some point their wolves had come out to play?" Author has a problem with skin color and homonyms.
Rhetta appears to be a controlling she-wolf but underneath she needs someone strong. Jordan has been under his mother’s control for a long time and is happy to fall in with what Rhetta decides. However, when Rhetta meets his half brother Rory, sparks fly and when she runs scared, he is definitely up for the chase! Great storyline and some laughs along the way. I enjoyed this third book in the series. I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Moonfall is an adorable and very funny story about a prim, proper, well put together young were who has her future with her boring but predictable veterinarian fiance all figured out, right up until she meets his hunky, brother the town butcher. The third installment in the Moonkind series offers hot romance, witty repartee, and a pair of alpha characters who give as good as they get. Once again, Ines Johnson has produced a great story you won't be able to put down.
The love story was of Rhetta and Rory. Rhetta is engaged to Jordan. He as her to go to his brother and ask him to come to the wedding. She does but Rory has something different in mind. Revenge! But one kiss he knows Rhetta is his faith mate. Will Rhetta chose Rory?
And the third book in this series is also pure unadulterated porn wrapped up in a cute story. Spelling mistakes and using the wrong words however detract from the story. When I read 'due' I am looking for either a reason "due to the bad weather the class trip was cancelled" or a time "the party was due to start at 7" not "he knew what he had to due (do).
Rhetta is the quiet twin...sometimes. She has been keeping a secret from her family. She is dating a human, but he's not her mate. When she meets her mate, things get REALLY complicated!! Things get very interesting after that. The way the author ties everything together for a happy ever after is just beautiful.
Outstanding! I've loved the entire series, but this one is definitely my favorite. The story was fast paced and flowed so well that when I reached the end I couldn't believe I finished the book so quickly. I enjoyed all it from the characters to the setting the author created. Great story!
Good reading. Love this story and the way the wolf shifters can tell who is their mate and they stay together for life. Sure would be nice if that worked for us all. Highly recommend reading.
Such a freaking cute book loved the characters especially Rhetta's mom its an awesome short read only has about 19 chapters great for plane ride or just wantes to kick back and read for a while
I read the series books 1-3 . I enjoyed them all . They each had a different story to tell. I recommend reading them in order once you meet the characters you will be intrigued enough to read the next book. I look forward to reading more by Ines Johnson
