Regina Stoker and her sister, Ariadne, were raised as part of London society, surrounded by servants who did everything for them. When they are left orphans upon the death of their father, Regina is eager to try something new and talks Ariadne into traveling to America with her, where they will have all sorts of adventures. The only problem is that they aren't prepared for anything they'll face.
Jake Honeycutt is a quiet, unassuming man who spends his time mending fences and watching over cattle. When a surprise visit from an angel, of all things, encourages him to speak his mind, he's not sure what to make of that - until he meets Miss Regina Stoker, a woman who makes it nearly impossible for him to keep his thoughts to himself.
With a little divine help, will both these people discover what lies inside themselves and who they're truly meant to be?
Amelia C. Adams is a wife, a mother, and a novelist. She spends her days dreaming up stories and her nights writing them down. Her biggest hero is her husband, and you might just see bits and pieces of him as you read her novels.
She loves all things historical and enjoys learning about days gone by, but she's glad she was born more recently (she won't say how recently or not recently) because the Internet is awesome, and she's glad she doesn't have to wash her clothes by hand in a galvanized tub. She has hit Amazon bestseller status twice, once for A Clean Slate and once for A Clear Hope.
Tea For Two is a charming romance that adds a sweet, straight-talking young angel to the group of heavenly beings keeping watch over the town of Creede, Colorado. Regina and her sister, Ariadne are on the adventure of a lifetime as they left their home in London and headed to America. They have no true skills yet they answered Reverend Bing’s ad for people to move to Creede with hope in their hearts that they’d find a home here. These sisters have more than a few surprises in store as they find their place in Creede, and perhaps find themselves and their true natures along the way.
Jake works at Royce Clark’s ranch, we’ve met Royce before in his own romance. Jake is a good man, well liked although he does tend to hide his light under a barrel and keep his opinions to himself. He’s yet to learn that speaking his mind would be of help to not only himself but others as well. He’s probably the last person who’d expect to have a guardian angel assist him in life but he doesn’t realize that he’s in very good company around Creede.
I had fun with Tea For Two. Jake and Regina are a lovely couple, each with their own lessons to learn. This story is lighter on danger and more of a reminder of the bad characters who live in this town. It’s going to take losing a bit of pride for this couple to work things out, but it’s also obvious that they fit together so well. We’ll run into some old friends along the way, I love catching up with previous couples in a series. If you love Western Historical Romance then this story or the entire series might be right up your alley.
I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
I loved this short story of Jake and Regina! Regina sure was brave to leave home and go so far! I loved that it was a little girl angel, but who was she? Was she their future child? I love this series!
Regina and her sister left London to start a fresh life as they are orphaned upon their father's death. She made plans by booking train tickets to America for their new home. Upon leaving the train, she was not expecting that there would be a lot of construction of the new buildings and their hotel room is not fancy compared to their old life. Jake works at a ranch where he suddenly meets a girl who is an angel although he does not believe such things. He is running an errand in Creede as she meets a lovely woman. He cannot help but notice how attractive she is but he reminds himself that he is not the kind of man who is suited to be with her. He kindly offers to help them drive a buggy without any payment. Millie suggests that the sisters open a tea shop to offer something new in town. Regina is a determined, stubborn English woman who does not easily admit her mistakes. Jake is a diligent, thoughtful, kind cowboy where he spends most of his time working at the ranch. The story is well-written and it is a clean romance. I enjoyed reading the book and I love how Regina and Jake has a HEA epilogue
I read Ariadne's and Wendell's story before this and I think I preferred it more, I found the couple to be quite vulnerable and I think this enhanced their story, with Regina and Jake's story I felt both characters to be quite strong willed and stubborn to a degree, however, the book was well written and very enjoyable and I must say that the supporting characters are pleasant and interesting (particularly the angels Susie in this book and Miss Chappell in the other book) and I have been looking at the other stories with a view to continuing the series. I thoroughly recommend this book.
Well written story of of Regina, a young lady from England, and her sister Ariadne who move to Creeds to open a tea shop. Regina meets Jake Honeycutt, a cowboy from the Clark's ranch. Their story of falling in love includes many characters from previous Cowboys and Angels books and continues the enjoyable series.
This one was so good! I loved the characters and I’m struggling really hard not to skip the next couple of books to get to Regina’s sister’s story. I have really enjoyed this writer so far and she’s completely new to me. I’ll definitely have to read more of her stories. Onto the next in the series!
I throughly enjoyed reading about Regina and Jake’s romance, it had its ups and down which made it very realistic. Regina’s stubbornness makes their love even more romantic.
Jake/cowboy at circle K. And Regina/from England with her sister Arianda. I enjoyed this captivating story of new beginnings. Loved the angel and the cameo appearance of Bob.
Love this series. I haven't read a story in it yet I didn't like. I love all I have read by Amelia C. Adams anyway. Thank you for all the work you do. Regina and Jake are so stubborn. You made a great start with them meeting. Loved Susie.
Regina and her sister are London beauties who immigrate to America when their father dies. Chance takes them to Creede , Colorado where they work to open a tea shop. Love finds Regina along the way.
Another great book in a great series. I'm really enjoying this series and loved Jake and Regina's story and the characters of Creed and Bachelor. I look forward to more books in the series.
Good storyline about sisters from England. Hero and heroine with character flaws, yet not overly drawn out drama. Continued updates from past books without needing to have read them. Hopefully get sister's story soon.
One cowboy meets one stubborn English woman and sparks all but fly. He continues to come across the sisters. The sister's traveled from across Europe. They find a purpose and set their hearts on taking car in the town of Creed.
This was an enjoyable, and cute read. I felt it was extremely short and not enough depth to the main characters. I look forward to more in this series.
This was a really cute story. The young girl angel was an interesting touch. I enjoyed the two sisters and how strong they were. The romance was sweet and clean.
The story was and and interesting. The romance in the story was as Sweet, tender and interesting. Learning to communicate with each other is the key for lasting love.
Regina and Ariadne come from London England to Creede in answer to an ad they saw in New York for people to come. They want to work but dont know what to do, so open a Tea Shop makes sense to Millie. When the need a carpenter to build shelves Jake Honeycutt is recommended. The story goes from there. I really enjoyed this book
Jake and Regina's story was so good! It's so much fun when when two headstrong people get together and we get to watch the sparks fly. So glad they figured everything out. I hope we hear more about Ariadne' in future books.
