1.5 stars. I started this book long ago, somewhere in 2013/2014. It was from the library. But I didn't really like it, although the relationship between the two was interesting.

This book is too sad at some point. I dragged it until I decided to return it to the library and take it another time, but I haven't found it since then. If I found it at some point, I definitely didn't want to read it then.

And because a lot of things are hapenning in my life right now, I need to make some drastic changes, so I decided to dnf this book! I will never get back to it.

Povestea in sine este greu de urmarit din cauza descrierilor prea multe si prea detaliate. Chiar iti trebuie rabdare sa citesti cartea pana la capat si nici macar nu esti recompensat pentru efortul tau cu un final mai de Doamne ajuta. Multra frustrare asezonata cu cateva cuvinte si expresii fara perdea - cam asta ar fi descrierea cartii.
De ce i-am dat totusi doua stele? Pentru ca daca se renunta la descrierile alea interminabile, sigur povestea ar fi fost mult mai interesanta.

Ich habe mich mit Lasse gefreut, mit ihm gelacht, mitgelitten – und geweint. Eine wunderbare Geschichte aus dem Leben, sanft erzählt und nachklingend.

Finde ich ähnlich wie Birbaeks Debut sehr stark, die Geschichte ist stark und wirkt ausgereift. Die Charaktere haben ebenso etwas sympathisches, wie witziges und entwickeln sich sehr gut über das Buch. Empfehlenswert.

Such a beautiful, yet sad love story. I loved the book and I hoped until the last page that it will have a different type of happy-ending.
More than the classic love story, it also shows the strong connection between a dying dad and his career-disoriented son. It was a great read.
