Incredible insight into a woman's heart and mind. Pickard has been through so much with cancer and chemotherapy. Her resolution to stay strong and focussed is an inspiration. This is a delightful volume and includes a 3rd book of poetry which is not yet available online.

Freya Pickard gives life to words through her poetry. This collection is particularly thoughtful and lingering. The poems stretched from themes as broad as Dancer to Cancer, and throughout, I was captivated. Some of the imagery hit me deeply and personally, as, like Freya, I am a cancer survivor. I highly recommend the collection to anyone who loves poetry, especially poetry that dives deep into the whys of life. Powerful writing!
