Absolutely teeming with an abundance of fascinating topics - discussed both in a universal and Japan-specific context. Great read for any Murakami fan, Japanophile, or anyone interested in the human condition as it is in the 21st century.
Warning: definitely not the best of translations. I found at least 3 typos throughout the book. Also, I felt some parts (especially in the beginning) were very awkwardly translated. Then again, it might just be me not being "worldly" enough to understand what Murakami and Kawai were saying, in the context that they were referring to.
Still an amazingly insightful read though. I love these two together - they have this incredible chemistry that's a total joy to witness; something that definitely came through their thoughtful discourse.
