Muhammad Ali Champion by Arlene Schulman is a Historical Nonfiction book I gave this a 5 star rating because this book gives details about what happened in the 1950's when blacks were separated from the whites because the race. The main characters in this book are Muhammad Ali which is one of the best fighters of all time. Muhammad Ali didn't like the fact that blacks were separated from the whites. This book takes place in the 1950's through 1985. Muhammad Ali holding a diamond studded belt. "Black people were allowed to sit only in the back rows of buses and movie theaters". "Most stores and restaurants wouldn't serve blacks,not even a drink of water for a thirsty child".
the explanation of that selected text evidence was believable because blacks were dealing with segregation at that time. I recommend that everyone should read about it at some point in time. the publication year is 1996.
