I wanted to prove myself but when my dad’s threats are directed at me, I’m tossed into the arms of a long dirty blond-haired rebel. I wasn’t supposed to fall for someone like him. So, I fought my attraction. Let’s see how well I do at that.

I was enjoying Mayhem and Taylor's book all the way up until he went and did something that I despise in a romance book. I feel the need to bring it up in my review, so I will warn anyone reading this now that I am putting a spoiler in my review. I don't normally do this but I was very mad.
Basically, Mayhem had some club whore give him a BJ while him and Taylor were still together..What kind of turned me off even more is that she even walked in on them and didn't say anything about it. To be honest, the scene was weird to me, and I kind of scratched my head, because literally it all got overlooked.
Normally, this would have wrecked the whole story for me, as I hate either one of the main couple having "sexual relations" with someone else...but like I said..I was enjoying the story up until that part.
Seeing as I went and bought this whole series at once, I am moving on to the third book. It is about Mayhem's brother, Tic. I quite like him, so I am hoping that his book will redeem my feelings about this series!!! Fingers crossed!

You know I thought nothing could top my love for Declan but I think Mayhem has either taken over first place or the two boys are neck and neck. The jury is still out on that...
My god from page one I was brought back into the world of the Soulless Bastards MC (how I missed those guys) and couldn’t get enough of them. Mayhem is given a job to watch over Taylor and from that point on there is a battle of what each person wants. Mayhem is stuck in the past after he lost someone he loved and Taylor is consumed with always feeling unwanted. Will the two be able to let go and come together?
Mayhem is full of angst, suspense and some hot and heavy moments as well as sweet and tender ones. I was in love with both Mayhem and Taylor from the beginning all the way to the end. Just loved everything about this book. Mayhem is a bad-boy you just can’t help but love and Taylor is the sweet, innocent girl who just melts your heart.
“My gentleness mixed with his harshness is such a sweet friction. I want more of it.”
This book was just everything and then some. Love me those Soulless Bastards!!! Erin Trejo everything about this book was perfect.

Mayhem was the second book in the Soulless Bastards MC series by Erin Trejo.
Mayhem was the Enforcer in the MC as well a son of the President. He was the crazy and fun brother, always creating “mayhem” wherever he went but he was also a man who grieved the loss of his old lady going on four years.
Taylor was the mayor’s daughter. She lost her mom to cancer when she was seven and her dad sent her to boarding school in Rome at eight. At twenty she was called back home. She’s lived most of her life isolated so she had very few friends and had difficulty with attachments.
I was looking forward to Mayhem’s story as he was one of my favorites in the first book, Declan. However, I didn’t really like the characters in this storyline. Taylor was weak and meek, while Mayhem was a dick. I had a difficult time following them. And for those wanting safe, yea, this was so far from it, it would never pass for my safe friends. The story was well written and well developed, I just wasn’t fond of the direction.
With that said, I like Trejo’s writing style and suspenseful themes and I’m looking forward to more in the series. Tic and Ashley are up next and I can’t wait!

Can the Soulless Bastards MC NoCal men get any hotter?! First there was Declan and now we have Mayhem’s story and oh, what a story it is. Mayhem is the enforcer of the club with his dad being the Prez. Mayhem just had a job handed to him and that was to pull security on the mayor’s daughter, Taylor. There’s a problem though; Taylor looks just like the love of his life that died four years ago and left Mayhem a broken man. Does Taylor even have a chance at pulling Mayhem out of the nightmare his life has become and does Taylor want to take a chance on a man who kills and doesn’t bat an eye in doing his job? Both of them have issues with the way they grew up so is there even a chance for Taylor and Mayhem?
Be ready for a book you can’t put down. It will pull at your heartstrings all the while it will have you fanning yourself. Who could ask for anything more from a great MC read!

Mayhem is a great name for the main character in Book 2 of Soulless Bastards NoCal. The definition of mayhem is: violent or damaging disorder; chaos. Mayhem definitely lives up to his name. He is not a nice guy. His line of work has no room for that. Taylor is the mayor's daughter. Her dad is up to some shady dealings and Mayhem has been put in charge of being her live-in security guard. On the outside, she appears to be a spoiled/privileged rich kid but Taylor's life has been anything but ideal. Mayhem and Taylor appear to be like water and vinegar but they don't know is that they have more in common than they realize.
It was gritty, angsty, a lot of action, heartbreak, steamy scenes, and danger. I have read MC books from Erin Trejo before and absolutely loved them! However, this one felt like it was missing something. It was a good, entertaining, quick read but not on the same level as some of her other work.

If your looking for a sexy as sin biker then Mayhem's definately the guy! He's hot but carries his demons he's an enforcer who loves to kill, sometimes the kill makes him feel alive after being empty for so long that is until he takes orders to protect a rich girl who cannot stand him and he feels a pull between them but can he wear Taylor down and have one night of sex to get Taylor out of his system!
Taylor might be a rich kid but only through genetics her dad has never wanted her since she was a little girl, he's blames her for all the bad times and sent her away, now he needs her for his own selfish needs, but what does this mean for Taylor can she be protected or will her dad's deeds land her in danger?
She drives Mayhem insane and he can't commit through his own guilt, can he rid himself of that guilt and make something with Taylor!
Fabulous M.C book that's very sexy, plenty of action and angst between the characters a great addition to the Souless crew I can't wait for Tic's book to be released. Erin has made another great book.

In these books by Trejo the MC guys are more your anti-hero. And Mayhem covered in blood almost daily is not a "hero". Yet, he is a hero to his lady love Taylor. His assignment: bodyguard; and boy does he guard her body. Sorry to say, every girls worst nightmare might be true...who are you thinking of when you are with me?
Survivors guilt has taken hold of our antihero. He has it bad and it darkens his soul. Taylor. his new love, refuses to be pushed away but as she says, she isn't "her". I have to say there is one scene where our man is caught with his pants down. Were they really on a break? A Ross and Rachel moment.
Anyway, it true Trejo fashion this book is filled with angst, anger, passion and fire. In a few softer moments you even feel the sweetness and love not just the lust. I admire Taylor and her perseverance, compassion, and loyalty but I still wanted to smack her a time or two. And Mayhem. I always ask the same question: why can't you see what is in front of you? Guess those darker emotions keep you blind.
Well written, good characters, enough angst grit and passion to keep you turning the page. Looking forward to book three.

Oh what do I say about Mayhem. Mmm I thought Declan was swooning but Mayhem is freaking damn swooning and I’m going to claim him until the next one 😂. This is the second book in Soulless Bastards mc series about Mayhem and Taylor’s story.
Once again Erin’s writing had me from the beginning to the end and I couldn't put the book down so be ready for a fantastic ride.
This story is full of action, adventure, steamy hot sexy chemistry between Mayhem and Taylor that will keep you turning pages until the end. I can’t wait to meet the rest of Soulless Bastards.

Mayhem hates Tayler when he first sees her and even tries to get taken off the job, they try to deny it but they both know there’s an attraction there, Mayhem knows he’s not good enough for Taylor but she’s persistent, and he hasn’t felt about a woman this way since his wife died.
Mayhem can’t fight it anymore but doesn’t want Taylor to regret it, he’s never been so gentle in his life with a woman, until Taylor tells him he doesn’t have to. What he doesn’t expect after is that Taylor feels right.

I was sooo excited to finally get to read Mayhem and I got to read on KU!!! I am such a huge Erin Trejo fan and love LOVE when she has a new book released!!!
Soo Mayhem is the next MC in the Soulless Bastards MC series. He is the enforcer and good lord, you can sooo tell he is perfect for this position cuz he does love fucking people up!!! And to top it off, he is more ruthless, if that is possible, cuz he lost his old lady four years ago. "The day she died was the day he lost what was left of his sanity."
Mayhem has a new job that he was asked to do. He is asked to be on a security team, protecting the mayors daughter. The mayor is dirty and he has worked with the club for many years but he has asked them for a favor of watching his daughter. Mayhem will be on night watch. Good Lord this is where his buttons are going to be pushed. She is a spit fire and Mayhem definitely has his work cut out for him..lol I fell head over heals over these two!! Sooo much banter and sexual tension made for one Hell of a read!!!

This is the second book in the soulless bastards series and it just gets better and better as the story unfolds. Erin Trejo has written an intense, emotional read that is layered with beautiful themes and overcoming broken hearts.
The characters Mayhem and Taylor are polar opposites. Their chemistry is rough and tormented, both trying to overcome broken hearts from their past. However, once they collide their connection is explosive. Hold onto your panties ladies because you know how rough MC men like their women to take it... damn it’s sizzling off the pages, HOT!!!!
I couldn’t put this book down. I did enjoy it more than the first book in this series but I’m seriously thinking this author knows how to write thrilling MC stories that hook you from the beginning.

I love MC books so it was easy for me to get into this book. I loved the story line & the writing was great. The only thing that bugged me about this book is when Mayhem goes to the other club & she walks in & catches him with another woman, they never even discuss it. Yet she takes him right back. That’s part of the story that really was out of place for me.
Other than that little piece I absolutely loved all the action & how everyone got along. Can’t wait to read the next book.

This was another great book by Erin Trejo. I do enjoy her books.
Mayham and Taylor were great! I love when they have to work at liking each other. What starts as a job for Mayhem becomes so much more. Can he trust his heart to anyone? Can Taylor break free from her father that never wanted her around?

What amazing story. I cannot begin to say all I have to about this story. So much hurt, pain and love. It just blew me away. Two stubborn people becoming hole again with each other loved it. A must read. More than 5 stars.

What an awesome read!!! Mayhem is sexy, dangerous, and lost his way after a tragic event in his life. Taylor is beautiful, smart, and has been sheltered most of her life. Will these two find their way? Will they find their way to each other. Well, I guess you're gonna need to read it to find out. ❤

Wonderful book!
I did not like Mayhem at all in Dec's book, nor did I like him at first in this book. That being said, as his story was told, it was so sad and the emotions expressed so realistically it is now a favorite. Ms. Trejo could not have written a better character for him to become involved with. While Taylor has her own sadness, the joy of reading about her is how quickly she finds her inner strength. I love this series and highly recommend it.

I can definitely say that I need more Mayhem! At first i didn't really like Taylor. I thought she was immature and a bit of a cry baby. Meeting Mayhem was the thing she needed to grow up.
Mayhem is all alpha male and it's hot!
This is a fast pace book that kept me interested from the very beginning. Love it!!

Mayhem is broken and Taylor is the only one who can fix him. He doesn’t want to give it but she is stubborn and won’t give up. She knows that she can make him see that life is worth living happy and she has totally has her work cut out for her. He is a hard ass but she can make him whole again.

OK I have to put this out there first then I will get into my review. First off I really am not into MC books but for some reason I read one from this author and became stuck. I mean really stuck. What makes her's any different you may ask, I have to honestly answer I have no freaking clue. Her guys are rough and rowdy, cursing and screw anything with 2 legs and a hole so what is there to like. If you like men that are broken and hiding their hearts behind the rough tough biker image. Or men that will protect as fiercely as they love. Or how about the women that love them. They are fierce and strong. Even if they come to the club in pieces they always seem able to dig deep and find their strength.
With Taylor and Mayhem we get all of it. These two broken by their past. Caste aside like garbage by those that were supposed to love and protect them. This author makes us feel every punch as they come to terms with their own personal stuff and find each other. It helps that their biker family and yeah they are truly a family, they are there to support, to love, to cry, to protect. I bawl like a baby and come unglued when I read about them. Somehow some way each read becomes personal. Their pain becomes mine and I crumble and share it, can't help it. These are great reads, go find out for yourself.

I couldn't put this book down. Mayhem was a great story. Erin Trejo did a wonderful job on it. The story was well written with a great plot. It was filled with emotions and packed with action. Mayhem and Taylor were strong characters, that have been through a lot and are somewhat broken. Mayhem never thought he could feels so strongly about someone again but Taylor was special. Taylor hasn't had someone that cared about her for since her mom passed.
Mayhem and Taylor have an instant connection, a strong one. They were good for one another, helped heal each other. The chemistry was sexy between them. Loved how protective Mayhem was. He would do anything to protect Taylor.
This was a great read. Mayhem and Taylor were great together. I enjoyed this book. I recommend reading.
