Four life-long friends face the biggest changes of their lives. Four sisters—not related by blood, but by spirit—each embark on a quest. Four women find out what they’re truly made of, and what love indisputably means.
Four friends—Universally connected—a hidden cove—the path to Destiny.
In New View by Lynn Jenssen , a couple’s vow of “for better or worse” is tested to the max under the threat of overwhelming work stress, and marital misunderstandings. But when a danger threatens to tear them apart for good, they face the biggest trial of all.
In Identity by Christine Mazurk , a young woman embarks on a complete life-change after losing close to 100 pounds, and through a twist of fate, finds herself training for a sprint-distance triathlon under the guidance of a super sexy coach. But when she starts falling for the hunky trainer, can she trust her new-found confidence to take her to the finish line?
In Shaman’s Shell by Jeanine Duval Spikes , a spunky young woman finds a mystical Native American artifact that could change the course of an archeologist’s career. He wants what she’s got. She doesn’t know if she can trust him. But as affections build between them, the mysterious artifact propels them to discover what they both truly need.
In Moving Pictures by Annette Blair , a down-but-never-out woman lands a much-needed job working for one of the top advertising agencies in the country. Her boss is an award-winning exec whose focus has been solely on work for the past few years, to the exclusion of everything else. She doesn’t know why, and he isn’t prepared to tell her. The more reclusive he is, the more determined she is to draw him out, but how can she fight the haunting ghosts of his past?
Annette Blair's romantic comedies owe their beginnings to a root canal and a reluctant trip to Salem Massachusetts. Though she had once proclaimed she'd never write a contemporary, she stumbled into the serendipitous role of Accidental Witch Writer on that trip. Funny how she managed to eat her words even with an aching jaw. Magic or destiny; Annette's Bewitching Romantic Comedies became her first National Bestsellers.
Her August '07 release, SEX AND THE PSYCHIC WITCH, the first in her Triplet Witch Trilogy, hit the #1 bestselling spot for contemporary romance-humorous on Barnes & Noble. It also hit B & N's overall bestseller lists for mass market and fiction mass market and #7 for romance mass market, topping Nielsen BookScan and Borders Bestseller lists as well.
This anthology is about four women who each have a spiritual dimension that aligns with each other, making them sisters and friends for life. They spend time together on an island off the coast of New England. Once day a trip to a secret beach yields finds that set each of the woman on different paths. One woman, Marina, is losing touch with her husband until a crisis occurs in their lives. Bryce has lost a lot of weight, but lacks confidence in her new self until a sexy trainer decides to help her train for triathlons. Clara is a researcher who has found an ancient Indian treasure and must decide if she can trust the archeologist she's working for. And quirky Anastasia must help a reclusive man find his way back to life once more without losing her heart. I enjoyed each story very much. They are just the right length and a good combination of romance and women's literature. I'm very glad I heard about this book and will read moe by the four authors.
Loved this anthology. Four different women ... bound to one another heart and soul. Four wonderful stories filled with tender moments that kept me reading late into the night. I really enjoyed the way the stories blended one into another with a touching ending that warms your heart. Highly recommend.
