I was finally able to read this book. When I requested it, I was unable to view the ARC for some reason. I have now been able to find an edition of this book at my local library - same cover, slightly different title, but same publication year.
I liked the clear instructions on how to calculate the various numbers.
I noted that many of the characteristics overlapped in many of the descriptions of the various numbers. Being a 7, I research everything and try to understand this world we live in: our purpose, the reasons that we believe certain things. My conclusion thus far is that we humans refuse to learn from our past mistakes. Greed and selfishness lead us blindly forward, and we keep blundering into the same scenarios over and over again.
This book will give you a good, basic understanding of numerology..
I rate this guide a 3.9 out of 5.

The Ultimate Guide to Numerology doesn't walk its talk. I'm a numerologist with over 25 years professional experience and a quick flick through this book revealed shaky methods of calculation and interpretation.
Tania ignores master numbers, simply adding the two ones in 11 together to make 2. Anyone who truly resonates to the powerful 11 energy knows the difference between what they feel and the more gentle, grounded 2 vibration.
The reader is instructed to calculate the Life Path by adding all the numbers in the date of birth all the way through. Serious numerologists understand that each part of the date of birth has its own resonance and should therefore be reduced to a single digit or master number, before being added to the other parts to produce a final single digit or master number. This method and Tanya's method both produce the same final single digit, but the first way indicates karmic debts, while the second does not.
There was no mention of the Soul Urge / Heart's Desire in the book. Knowledge of this is essential to anyone wishing to manifest Money, Magic and Miracles.
The fourth inconsistency I saw before giving up was Tanya's interpretation of the Birthday number. To be fair, it is similar to Cheiro's numerology, but that in itself is something of an anomaly. The Birthday is actually a supporting part of the Life Path, giving it color and direction. Unless a person has another major aspect with the same number as the Birthday, it's not going to have as powerful an influence as Tania claims.

A nice book on numerology with an in-depth knowledge of the art of reading the hidden meaning behind the numbers. I found it interesting because there was so much to learn. But this is one of those books which you need to have with you in a physical form in order to be able to use it effectively.
It would serve as a great gift to anyone interested in learning more about numbers and numerology.

Today I'm reviewing The Ultimate Guide to Numerology by Tania Gabrielle.
Generally I like to start out with a disclaimer. I am an atheist witch. I look for the connection between magic and science without the need for a deity. I receive no compensation for these reviews and all my links are standard Amazon links and not affiliate links. I am a practicing photo reader and have spent the last 13 years honing my craft. I offer personal readings by request and have a strong online history that boasts nearly 400,000 views.

As with my other reviews I'll start with the physical book. This is an over-sized softcover book. It makes it a bit cumbersome to carry around with you for a read on the go or just to hold while you're having coffee. This one in my opinion requires both hands and a flat surface for doing the math. The cover is smooth and the pages glossy. The font however, is tiny. I had a bit of a challenge, with my 50 year old eyes to read the type. It wasn't impossible but I did notice the size difference from the other books I have reviewed. This book does contain an index and offers very specific instructions on working with numerology through out each of the chapters.

As I have stressed on previous reviews on numerology, this is not my medium for divination. I work specifically with photo/aura/people readings and fire scrying. I have found that the process for working with divination should be based on tangible evidence. With each approach to numerology, whether it be working with the birth day or with the numbers in someone's name, I struggle to see how this can be anything other than random behaviors. I like the zodiac, however we have to see that there is a large amount of generalizations that could very well fit any persons personality. But I digress.

Getting back to this specific book I believe the author provides clear and concise instruction on how to come up with my birth code. The book then offers direction on working with this birth code for manifesting fulfillment and abundance throughout my life.

Chapters 1 and 2 review the instructions for location your Day Birth Number, Your Life Purpose Number and your Destiny Number. To me this is where it gets a bit tricky. Unless your parents were into numerology, no effort to understand the random nature of a name can begin to dictate how one's personality would be developed by their name or how their interactions with the world are impacted by the personal energy that is expelled through-out one's life.

My root number is 8. The vibration on this number according to the author is leadership, strength, abundance, financial security and power. It says it governs entrepreneurship and the executive but 8's are also shy by nature. Quite and dedicated. Two sides to the same coin, showing I can be yin or yang. As I continued through this chapter the majority of the numbers seemed to have this balance. Showing each has an ebb and flowing creating a true harmonic dynamic. Now is this due to the numbers or are the numbers an indicator as to what a person can be, not what they necessarily already have become. As a side note, I was pleased to see a chapter devoted to double digit numbers. As someone not necessarily familiar with the dynamics of numerology, this part helped me get back to the root number.

Chapter 6 breaks down the letters in your name. It provides an analysis on each letter as well as the number to which it associates. I have a lots of R's in my name. When looking at the section on the letter R I found references to power, wisdom and the re-purpose of knowledge. Well that is certainly what I try to do with this blog.

The book continues with information on astrology numbers and even the number associate with something as seemingly mundane as your home address. Each one broken down with detailed explanation on getting the number and fully understanding the meaning behind them.

Overall this is a great addition to your magical or divination library. While not as compact as I would like the information within is easy to digest and share. If you're looking for a gateway into understanding numerology, this book is a great start.

I'm usually very interested in divination (for the first time I disagree with Hermione), fortune telling, tarot cards so there was no reason not to read this book. In Korea, we also have certain sound frequencies for names and it is connected with the horoscope, and four pillars of destiny. So I wanted to know how the western numerology works. Tania Gabrielle does a splendid job in giving her readers insights and tips to decipher our numbers within our names and birth dates. I didn't want to go through the whole book every time I decipher someone, so I made a short abbreviation, paraphrased the important parts of the book. Hope you enjoy deciphering, and hope my summary is helpful.

An interesting look into a subject I knew nothing about; definitely useful more as a reference book rather than a read-straight-through book. Sometimes I felt like we were going into "A Beautiful Mind" territory and starting to look for patterns that weren't actually there, but I tried to keep an open mind; however, there wasn't much in the way of the "how" of numerology (i.e. what's the underlying basis or theory for how this "works"?). Still, interesting food for thought.

I lost interest in numerology a number of years ago, but when I saw "The Ultimate Guide to Numerology" it reignited my curiosity. I'll admit I opened it with a skeptical mind, but it wasn't long before I was figuring out the numbers in my head then grabbing a pen so I would forget them. As much as I wanted to doubt, the proof was in the descriptions. they are vague and general so as to fit with almost anyone. Tania Gabrielle is very specific and is bang on with each and every number. Even my husband was shocked by how accurately it described him when I did his numbers. The later chapters teach us how to use our numbers to better our everyday lives. It made me realizing I was missing the old creativity I used to have, so I've made sure to incorporate creativity into each day which has brought me and my family so much joy. Highly recommended for anyone with even a hint of curiosity.

I have always been fascinated by Numerology and seeing this book on Netgalley piqued that interest even further. This is a fully detailed guide and anyone who is new to Numerology can understand the basics, like calculating the Birth Code, Life Purpose and Destiny numbers which I found to be fun and a bit too accurate on personality trait description.
I'm grateful the Publisher granted my wish!

The Ultimate Guide to Numerology walks you through finding the numbers that impact your life. Tania Gabrielle instructions are easy to follow and I was easily able to calculate my numbers. She also gives scores of information about each number and how they affect your life.
The only improvement I would like t see is more history of numerology. Where itr came from and what it truly meant to those who followed it.

Note: I received an e-arc from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

The Ultimate Guide to Numerology by Tania Gabrielle is as book that covers the meanings of numbers, not only one to nine, but all the two digit numbers as well. The book starts off strong, covering how you can calculate the most important numbers for yourself.

From my own experience with the book, I found it a great reference on how to make these calculations and also a great reference on the meaning behind each number. However, in the book itself, there was an error I spotted relating to Justin Timberlake’s birthday that made me confused for quite a while before realizing it was likely a typo.

Apart from that, the book is a beast of a resource, and I completely recommend it to anyone looking to learn more about numerology as it covers right down to your address.

Where I find that it falls short a little, is the claim that it can help with manifesting money, magic, and miracles. I didn’t see any specific details relating on how I can use numerology to bring these to fruition — it helped me understand myself and my life path for sure, and perhaps the potential for abundance, but on how to manifest it to reality was something different.

The closest the book comes to that claim is showing how to map out your months and years, but for me, that does not come as handy as astrology or Chinese metaphysics as the numerological way of doing it seems too straightforward. It may be accurate but I haven’t had time to test that.

I also wish the book talked more about on the selection of names for numerology purposes (i.e. choosing a specific name to have the number correspondences for their child) or choosing a specific address that can bring their lives a certain vibration.

I’d say it’s a good reference but it doesn’t live up to its subtitle, but that could be more of a marketing issue that over-promises on the content than a problem with the book. Overall, I’ll rate this book 7/10.

An interesting guide for those interested in numerology. I don't know how accurate it will be for most, but it is a good place to start.
