Hannah Nelson has been running for a long, long time. Getting out of the dysfunctional household she was raised in, she knows if she doesn’t get out of the small-town she was living in, she’ll always be branded with the same brush her parents and siblings are...white trash, no-account, good-for-nothing pieces of filth. But Hannah has dreams of being an artist. Whatever she touches, she makes beautiful. Determined to make a new life for herself, she takes her kitten, Duckie, packs up her four-door SUV and leaves. When she arrives in Corinth, low on money and out of options, she takes to parking in the back lot of the RGMC Truck Stop. It’s close to the interstate and she has hopes of getting a job, maybe in town somewhere.
Harley “Smokey” Richards and Davidson “Bandit” Richards are twin brothers who are bound by blood, and their oath, to the Rebel Guardians MC. Smokey is a Texas Ranger for the state’s national park in the next town while Bandit handles the IT work for the RGMC as well as on a contract basis for several local firms. They grew up with two dads and one mom so that lifestyle has always appealed to them, but they’ve never found the right woman to claim as theirs.
When Hannah winds up in Corinth, she draws the attention of the two men in an unexpected way. Can they break through her fear of the past? Will she allow herself to love both of them?

I have been an avid reader for most of my life. When I was younger I used to sit and fill spiral notebooks full of stories. As I got older, I took the jobs needed for raising my boys as a single mom, until I met my now amazing husband. I have stopped working in the last three years and started promoting authors, then I blogged and reviewed for authors, which lead me down the path to writing and creating characters and stories. I love creating behind the scenes with my writing getting to use my imagination and write the story as it comes to me. My youngest is now a senior in High School leaving me with some spare time on my hands to be filled. I am loving the people I am meeting and the support system I have found. How is this book getting such high ratings ? I mean really ? Almost 5 stars ? I don't believe it.
First of all - the names are so incredibly unoriginal, I rolled my eyes countless times. Let me break it down ...
The guy who cooks - road name is Chef The police chief - Chief The attorney - Law The forest ranger - Smokey
And speaking of Smokey ... oh lordy. Ok, so the two male MCs in this book are twin brothers, whose names are Harley and Davidson, but their road names are Smokey and Bandit. I have read soooo many MC books, and never have I seen such lame road names.
Let us continue with the disaster that is this book. Doll and Khaleesi. Yup, that's what they call her, because apparently it's super hard to address her by her name, you know, like most adults do. The female MC is not likable at all. She's not endearing or witty or cute. She's not memorable, she's not a biker chick badass. In fact, I find her annoying. The male characters seem to only be able to laugh while bent over, holding their stomachs. Why ? Who knows.
The writing is subpar. There's a scene where a woman is talking to one of the brothers, the other walks in and she's in shock, asking who he is. Um, really ? So it's not glaringly obvious that's his twin brother ? Is it really that far fetched ?
Do yourself a favor, save your money because this book was not worth the price. The editor and beta readers did a poor job. I can't even begin to tell you what the big conflict was because it was that insignificant. I don't have a problem with MFM, as long as all the characters are unrelated. It must be a man thing to not care if your sibling sees your junk or is super up close and personal to it, within touching distance in fact. I would never want to be that close to one of my siblings, that's just gross.
If you really want some hardcore MC books, check out Bella Jewel's Joker's Wrath. Nicole Snow's Outlaw series - THOSE are serious MC books with incredible writing. Hell, if you want some MFM MC stuff, read Alexa Riley's books, and those are even KU. I can't imagine reading anything else written by these authors.
Smokey & Bandit is book four in the rebel guardians MC series. I love the previous books in this series but so far, this book is my favourite. I devoured this book in one sitting and was left wanting more. I really liked Hannah. She came across as shy at times but she was hilarious, sassy and independent. I loved that even when she was living in her car, she still took care of her kitten. Her love for Duckie was cute. I like Smokey & Bandit. I liked that they knew Hannah was the woman for them as soon as they met her. I liked both men, they’re hilarious. The chemistry between Smokey, Bandit and Hannah is clear to see and they’re perfect for one another. I loved that Jester and Duckie got along instantly and became inseparable. I thought their friendship was cute. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more from this series. I would say that I cannot wait to read Law’s book but I already have read it. I read Law’s book before any of the other stories in this series.
Mama Mia id love to be the meat in between the Smokie & Bandit sandwich . i loved this book from the very start to the very finish i truly love this series by Darlene Tallman and Liberty Parker. i love how the MC is all about family their women and children. when these boys love they love with everything in them . hannah came into the boys lives at a time when smokie and bandit where both looking for their own happily ever afters, seeing their brother's not only find their women who are a force to be reckoned with in there own right but also become parents to not only biological children but foster children to which i love . as a foster mum my self its so good to see a story written about kids in care but also kids in care in a MC such as Rebel Guardians. Smokie & Bandit are identical twin brother's who are looking for a woman to call there own both brough up with two dads and a mum they wanted that kind of love for themselves. enter hannah and her cute little kitten Duckie , hannah has been hurt by her so called family she is on the run from a brother who is evil personified her dad a drunk her mum a junkie and a sister who hates her and she doesnt know why. changing her name legally she sets off to adventures unknown but lands at the truck stop that the boys run for the MC and lives in her car until she can figure out her next step. but her past catches up with her and smokie and bandit save her and the mc family welcome her into the fold and the boys finally find what they've been looking for there hannah . lots of twists and turns and a storm that wreaks havoc on them all. im so lookin forward to laws book and im really interested to see how things pan out with hannahs sister bridget to .
Hannah Nelson is running from everything that she knows. She is hiding who she is, hoping that she won't be found. She has secrets that she doesn't want anyone to know about, and she is reduced to sleeping in her car in the parking lot of a truck stop. When she takes advantage of their amenities to wash her clothes and clean herself up, she is saved from an almost-tragedy by one of the handsomest men she has ever seen. But there are two of them!
Smokey and Bandit grew up with two dads and a mom. Despite their dads not being the best, they know they want that life style. They just have to find the right woman. When they save Hannah, they know she is it. They also know that they are going to have to move slowly to get her to accept them and what they want.
Even with the immediate attraction and pull between Hannah, Smokey and Bandit, this book has a very slow build up. The characters take their time to build a solid relationship, and they seem to be stronger for it. This book is a very sweet, solid romance that also has plenty of laughs, while also having enough action and drama to keep it moving. As with all of the RGMC books, I love the focus on family and the close relationship all of the characters have with each other. This was a fun book, and I'm definitely looking forward to the next one!
Absolutely Bloody Brilliant. I was pulled into the book right from the get go and that is where I stayed until I had finished reading every word. Watching as the book played in my mind like watching a movie, I love it when that happens while I am reading. Twists, turns and surprises await you on the pages of this book and believe me when I say some of the surprises you won't see coming, but oh boy are they good. While I was reading this book, I had a right giggling fit and thought to myself OMG that is so me, I am not going to tell you why as I don't want to spoil the book, but I was giggling that much I had tears running down my face. Both Liberty Parker and Darlene Tallman, have penned one hell of a book. It is so worth the rating I have given it and I highly recommend it. If you are a fan of MC books and haven't read this series, you are missing out on one hell of a ride.
This is the fourth book in this fantastic series, and is Hannah, Smokey and Bandit’s story. Smokey and Bandit are twin brothers and well as being members of the MC. Smokey is a Texas ranger while Bandit it the IT guru. Hannah is on the run from her past and is living in her car. From the moment these three meet, the boys know that they have found their girl to claim. This is a well written story which is intriguing and had me captivated throughout. I am in awe of these talented authors’ as each novel just keeps getting better and better. I look forward to reading more in this addictive series, and recommend for all MC lovers
Another Series Hit with Smokey & Bandit and Hannah! Author Liberty Parker is an amazing writer who draws you into her stories and does not let go! She has a way of twisting you up within the pages of her books in such a way that you feel like you are living it or at least watching it happen right in front of you. The action paced romance and the thrill of intrigue keep you on the edge of your seat while you continue to read. Could not put it down! Who wouldn’t want to be caught in a Smokey and Bandit Sandwich?!?
Another terrific book by Liberty Parker and Darlene Tallman. I found it hard to put this book down needing to finish it. Hannah is on the run from her family. Having lived out of her car on the back of the clubs truck stop she hopes to use their facilities and maybe land a job. Smokey and Bandit are identical twins who are looking for that one. When someone threatens to take their girl away they and their brothers will stop at nothing to keep Hannah safe.
wow what to say about this book! she runs away from a bad life. now she is sleeping in her car to get by. than she meets the two brothers and they both want her. her past has come to haunt her.what price will she pay? read to find out.
Once again Liberty and Darlene have written a terrific book!! I love how protective, patient and loving Smokey and Bandit are with Hannah. This book is fantastic!!
maybe some people are into this type of writing style... but I pretty much had secondhand embarrassment this whole book since it's written like the inner monologue of each character and it's so cringy and immature. If I had a dime for every time the phrase "I doubled over laughing my head off!!!! a real knee slapper!!!" I'd be in a billionaire trope. The only reason I didn't DNF'd this was because it was like a train wreck I couldn't look away from.
This book was a first for me. It is a MFM book. Meaning the main character focus is around a 2 male 1 female relationship. With that dynamic in mind I knew I was going into this with an open mind. This story was one of such sweet longing and wanting to prove to Hannah that she would fit perfectly into the lifestyle that was being persented to her by the brothers Bandit and Smokey. These two guys knew and understood from the very beginning that they had to be very careful with Hannah and that she was special. They opened themselves up and showed such softness it was absolutely beauty. What also really caught my eye about this story was the way the MC came together as a family and accepted Hannah. They took her in from the very beginning and it showed a lot about the depth of character each supporting character has. I really enjoyed that. Overall this book opened my eyes to something different and I really enjoyed it. It was extremely well written and flows very well. This is one of the first books I’ve read by this author and I can’t wait to continue exploring her works! I would most definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for something new you won’t be disappointed!
Great Job ladies!👏🏽👏🏽you didn t disappoint me at all, especially with a woman with a broken spirit, but she made it with the love she received from Smokey and Bandit, I'm giving it 5 stars
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Smokey and Bandit are identical twins, that already know they want to have a relationship like their parents; polyamorous, one woman for the two of them. Hannah is seriously down in her luck, living out of her car, no job, left where she was coming from... running to somewhere safe, wherever that may be. When Hannah comes into the truck stop to wash clothes and clean up a bit, she ends up in a bit of a pickle to which the twins end up saving her. The two pretty much know from the first meeting that she is the one person meant for them, now to help her with her drama and to convince her that she would be better off with the two of them.
This series is taking one step forward and then two steps back. Really enjoyed Chief's story, but then this was such a let down. Sure there was some different drama and danger which is good as it's not the same thing just different names. I didn't really care for Hannah and how naïve and innocent she was, not with the family she came from. The naughty bits were ok, I actually was hoping for more than what we got. Khaleesi was just corny, leave that to GOT. So with some drama, danger, and ok naughty bits, I give this 3.5 stars.
The dynamic duo of Liberty Parker & Darlene Tallman certainly know how to keep us on our toes don't they?! This story took a different turn from the previous 3 before, and hey, I'm all about keeping it fresh. See, Harley "Smokey" Richards & Davidson "Bandit" Richards grew up in a household with two dads, & one mom, so that is a life that's always appealed to them, but they hadn't found the right woman yet. Enter Hannah, a woman who has been on the run for a long time, who has been sleeping in her SUV in the back lot of the RGMC Truck Stop with no other options. She catches their attention quickly, but she's very gun shy, so it's an interesting journey. Yeah, this is another page turner with lots of sexiness, like set the sheets on fire sexy times. It's MFM so there's your warning if you don't like that kind of thing, or if it's too hot for you. For me, there's no such thing as too hot! And there's the entertaining cast of secondaries that have been keeping me laughing since Book 1 in this series, and they aren't stopping now. Plus, there's new twists, so I have loud f-bombs still dropping. Another great book in this series that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel when starting this book. However, I have read all the other books in the series so I definitely wanted to give it a chance!
The h, Hannah is going through a rough spot when she meets Smokey at the truck stop he runs. He immediately is attracted to Hannah, to the point that he calls his brother, Bandit to tell him that he thinks he’s found their “one.” They help Hannah get back on her feet while giving her time to get to know them and put the idea of a relationship with two men in her head.
I thought this was a good addition to the series! Smokey and Bandit have always been the lighthearted jokers in the earlier books, so it was fun to watch them find their woman and go through the same thing that they used to make fun of their brothers for. Hannah had a very rough home life and while you do learn about her past, some of it is too hard for her to talk about so you never learn all that she overcame. Maybe this is something we will learn more in Bridget’s book? Either way, I did enjoy the story! The suspense that comes along with this series is a bonus, as well as the end leading into the next book.
Hannah Nelson left her family, years of being a scapegoat and treated like filth had reared its ugly head. Now living in a car, she finds herself in Corinth, Texas. Trying to find work she finds herself working for brothers Smokey and Bandit. She is weary of the bikers at first but something about Smokey and Bandit make her feel protected.
Smokey and Bandit knew Hannah was their one the moment they met her. Slowly she is coming to realize that they are meant to be together. When a threat from her past comes to call though it puts Hannah in danger and Smokey and Bandit will do anything they can to protect her.
Another great addition to the series. Was curious to see how their story would unfold. This was a bit more slow burn romance then the other three but well worth the pace in the story. Anxious for the next book.
I have thoroughly enjoyed all the books in this series so far, but sadly not this one. It has nothing to do with the fact it was MFM. I just didn’t feel the connection between Hannah, Smokey and Bandit. I could easily put the book down and walk away from it, which was almost impossible to do with the first three. After some thinking on this I realised I missed the involvement of all the children. They helped to make the first three books special to me. In addition I guess I didn’t really like the characters involved in the threesome. Hannah annoyed me at times, as did Smokey and Bandit. Even though I understand why Hannah said and did certain things they began to frustrate me, which stopped me from enjoying the book. That said I highly recommend this series and look forward to Law’s story.
I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, suspense, and heartbreak.
If you have not already read the below I would recommend reading those books first: Braxton (Rebel Guardians MC, #1) Hatchet (Rebel Guardians MC, #2) Chief (Rebel Guardians MC, #3)
This is Hannah, Smokey and Bandit’s story. Smokey and Bandit have always known that when they find the right woman it would be them and her. When they find her she needs protection and help. They mistaken put her into a bad situation. But afterward they are able to help her out. They also know they must go slow with her. She has not known love and they need to teach her love. She has a lot of fear and is skittish. They need to protect and cherish her. Can they handle that?
I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
Hannah has escaped from her past, changed her identity and is looking for a new start. She is looking for a job but in the interim she is sleeping in her car at a truck stop which is how she meets Smokey and Bandit.
Smokey and Bandit are twin brothers who were raised by two fathers and one mother. They would like the same thing for themselves but they haven’t found the right woman to share their lives with yet. When they meet Hannah they know that she is the one and the only things standing in their way is convincing her and protecting her from her past.
I am loving this series and this book is no exception. I really liked the characters as Smokey and Bandit are so protective and Hannah is the woman to keep them on their toes.
read these first five books back to back and thoroughly enjoyed them all. they are basically feel good novels about romance and family. the women and men are strong of character with high morals and they have chosen the mc lifestyle to allow them to live with the close family ties they have forged rather than those that they were born to. very little angst, just enough to give the stories some backbone. although there are super hot sex scenes there are also plenty of tender moments especially with the children, many of whom come to them through tragic circumstances. great writing style and great stories. def looking forward to more
This book was just alright...I struggled reading it. I have read plenty of MC’s book but unfortunately this one was lame. I don’t know but the way it is written didn’t help. We were jumping chapter after chapter with sometimes only one paragraph written. Just look at the name of the characters. They aren’t original at all. We could expect for the author to be more imaginative as it is a MC world we are talking about.... The scenes were sometimes boring or going to fast when it could have been, in fact, interesting! I am sorry but 3 stars is the most I can give because the content is there, the story could have been way better though.
I must say this book was not what I was expecting. Obviously I was hoping for some steamier scenes with Hannah, Smokey and Bandit but the author didn't really go into a lot of details on the sex scenes, which kinda disappointed me. I liked how in turn the twins were and they were able to help Hannah in her time of need. They respected her first and foremost which is always good. I was thrilled to see the series take a break from either having babies or adopting them. It was getting nuts with how many babies are into this family already. I liked this book, I really did but some things wasn't what I was expecting in it.
Smoksy, Bandit and Hannah, omg. I did not know he I was going to receive this. Although I've read many books, when there is more thAn just a couple I'm a lie uncomfortable.....that being said, this book is written as the three being just a coup!e, but not as hell. I could not out of down. I was trying to read at the gym.....not a good idea, lol. And holy hell, goober the pink flipping unicorn, God Damn I could not stop laughing. Damn tears rolling down my face and my stomach hurt from laughing, full on. You guys are wrecking me, this series is everything and more. I can can't wait to finish it, but yet I never want it to end.
I loved it and the scene when Hannah was in the hospital was OMG, hilarious I laughed so hard while reading it. It was about time that Smokey and Bandit got their girl, I would have liked to see they guys have them a bit of hell after everything Smokey and Bandit said about the other guys. I can't wait to read more about this series like Law's story and even Capone and Bridgett. I would also love to see a book about Nan and Gino, I personally think that Axe would go crazy with that one.
Um, I did not think that this series could get any hotter until you read this installment! Smokey and Bandit are twin brothers that are looking for the right woman, and one happens to fall right in their lap with the name of Hannah.
This book was freaking hot, a good story line, with two sexy twin brothers. I was not as much impressed with the leading lady, but Smokey and Bandit definitely made up that up for me! I thought it was a good continuation of the series!
PS I received this book for free, but am voluntarily reviewing it!
These books just keep getting better. Hannah has been running from her family for a while now. She's running low on cash and sleeping in her car. She's been parked up in the RGMC Truck Stop, she hoping to find a job and make some money. She goes into the shop to get some bits & asks Smokey if she can use the shower and laundry. When he asks if she needs anything else she said a job, so he told her to see him when she came back down as they were looking for staff. Really good book Sue P
I'm not usually one for reading books that are about m/f/m , but I have to give kudos to this story. I know Smokey and Bandit enjoyed ragging their club brothers when they found there "one", but when they found theres it was instant love and they treated Hannah as their Queen. I also love how her kitty and their dog fell instantly in love as well. Very glad that her sister found her and even better that there brother got what he deserved. Happy reading.
