This is the first time I have rated a cook book without trying a good percentage of the recipes. There is a lot of info about the Whole 30 diet at the start of the book, but most of the recipes are not in the 40-40-20 range that is discussed. An editor would have been useful. Some recipes have the ingredients first then the amounts, others have the amounts first (which is normal recipe standard). Some measurements are metric, and some are British. The instructions of several recipes aren't clear--ingredients are listed but you are never told when or what to do with them. And there is stevia in a carrot soup recipe--says to avoid artificial sweeteners, and why would you ever need a sweetener with carrots, probe tether sweetest veggie on the planet?! I think if you know about cooking and nutrition, you could make some tasty recipes from this book. But if you are new to the diet or the pot, you will have trouble, and likely gain weight
This has a wonderful set of recipes in it, its easy to read and easy to do and has left my family with clean plates since I started using it. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to say time and live healthy. Well I actually recommend it to eveyrone.
