About the author

Sheri Rose Shepherd is the author of the popular His Princess(tm) series. A former Mrs. America, Sheri Rose is an anointed teacher who has served as keynote speaker at Women of Virtue conferences, and her messages have aired on national radio programs. Sheri Rose has been married eighteen years and has two beautiful children.

Sooo. I got this book for my birthday from one of my Sunday School trainers and it's amazing!
This book is a collection of love letters from God to the girl who is reading. They are so well phrased, so touching, and they are so woven together from the Bible that it is like God is speaking to you! And I don't know why it can't be that He is.

I would recommend this book to any girl, especially one seeking God's will in her life and one who knows she struggles in life. It's encouraging and full of such love!

The reason I took off half a star is because the version of the Bible that was used for the verses is very very translated, and when compared to the original KJV it said something almost completely different than what the KJV said. But that's your own personal thing.
Also, there were a couple of points that I didn't 100% agree on, but that was only like 1 or 2 in the whole book. So I would recommend this book! Read with the spirit of discernment and see what God is speaking to you personally.

Anytime I feel pressured, worried, depressed, unloved, ect. I get out this book and read the appropriate page. The loving words calm me and just drench me in the love of God.

Hace muchos años quería leer este libro, lo conocí por fragmentos de sus páginas que publicaban en Tumblr (se nota que tan mayor soy jeje) y quedé encantada, a veces leía el mismo fragmento repetidas veces porque me hablaba, otras veces miraba alguno nuevo y quería saltarlo para no hacerme spoiler.

En fin este libro me hablaba mucho y sigue haciéndolo solo que ahora que estoy más grande puedo reconocer que presenta los fundamentos del evangelio, nada muy complejo sin embargo creo que a toda mujer le gustaría oir estas palabras de la forma que lo presenta este libro.

Tantos años después por fin pude leerlo.

Al parecer, últimamente estoy muy enganchada con el tema de las princesas porque mi último libro fue acerca de una princesa y ¡este también! Pero en este caso, la princesa era yo. (¡Para entender eso, tienes que leer el libro!)

Este libro lo tome prestado de la biblioteca en su app online y lo he amado tanto que voy a tener que comprarlo para leerlo cuántas veces sea necesario.

Es un libro que toda mujer debería de leer aún si no es creyente porque nos recuerda lo valiosas, amada, respetadas, y admiradas que somos por nuestro Padre Celestial.

No tenemos que ser como las demás, somos únicas e irrepetibles. Y sobretodo, ¡Somos amadas!

I loved His Princess:Love letters from your King!!! While it is not a substitute for the Bible. It made my heart swell until it literally felt like it would pop out of my chest and several times brought tears of joy to my eyes! As I read this book I found myself rejoicing yet again in the knowledge that God loves me reverently and unendingly and I am His Princess. This book moved me beyond words and will continue to be a blessing in my life,it is perfect to read on those days when you don't feel content with who you are or feel you can't do anything right,we have all been there and I believe this book truly has the power to brighten the rainiest, gloomiest days. And all because it reminds you of the truth that you are God's precious beloved daughter and you are valued far more in his sight than you could ever comprehend. Šetřila jsem si stránky v průběhu celého roku, protože vstřebat celou tuhle knížečku najednou by se za a) nedalo a za b) by to byl skoro zločin. Neskutečně podařené zpracování, neskutečně bohaté na náměty k hlubšímu zamyšlení, povzbuzení a pohlazení po duši. Překrásné fotografie, které celek opravdu obohatily. Vřele doporučuji všem dívkám, ženám.

Vím na 100 %, že si knížku zase otevřu a budu si ji pročítat pomalu znovu. Jsem si víc než jistá, že jsem všechny myšlenky po jednom přečtení nepochytila a na další zase už třeba pozapomněla, takže... :-)

Krásně graficky zpracovaná kniha. A souhlasím dokonce i s jejím poselstvím, vyčteným mezi řádky. Tak proč jenom jedna hvězda? Protože mi ze způsobu, jakým je napsána, naskakuje husí kůže.

Dopisy od "Pánaboha" totiž vyznívají jako dokonalý příklad groomingu, neboli psychologické manipulace za účelem následného zneužití, sexuálního či jiného. "Jsi Tatínkova holčička" a "nebudu tě k ničemu nutit" a "chápu Tvé potřeby a touhy" a "kromě mě není jiná cesta" a "jsem Tvůj Král" a "Tvé tělo je darem ode mě a Ty jsi příliš cenná na to, aby tento dar rozbalil nesprávný člověk" a "odevzdej se mně a já Ti dám poznat lásku, kterou hledáš" a "vidím Tě, když Tě nikdo jiný nevidí" a pořád dokola "moje Princezno, moje Princezno, moje Princezno" a "Tvůj Král".

Tohle je klasická manipulace jako vystřižená z příručky guru nějakého kultu. A to říkám jako věrná katolička. A skutečnost, že si to málokdo uvědomuje, je popravdě dost děsivá.

You can hear a tender sweetness in Sherri Rose Shepherd's writing. She really has a place in her heart for encouraging other ladies. She wants all ladies to remember that the Creator sees each one as a special and beautiful princess. He wants a relationship with you personally, and you don't have to be trying to be something you are not. He wants who you are; who He created you to be. She is a very encouraging author.
I recommend this to all ladies, especially the young ladies who are struggling with who they are and feeling less than......fill in the blank.

I'm 22 years old and thought this looked like the kind of book my grandma would have, so I didn't think I'd like this book. I did. It was really good! The way everything is written makes it seem as if Jesus Himself wrote these letters for you, and all of them are based on scripture.
Someone from my church gave a copy of this book to my mother and I. I ended up really liking it.
Also, this is not a daily devotional. You can use it that way, but you don't have to. I liked reading it in chunks at a time so I could process the information I was reading.
I was blessed to be given this book!

Amé tanto cada página de este libro, su formato, la edición, TODO. Ha sido tan significativo para mí porque he hallado consuelo, sabiduría, consejo, y especialmente un amor infinito que trasciende todo entendimiento. Dios bendiga a Sheri por haber escrito esta maravilla. Ahora solo quiero conseguir los otros libros de "Su princesa" porque siento que serán de igual provecho para mí.

This was a wonderful book. We all deal with trials in our lives and sometimes forget we are not alone. That we don't have to deal with them all by ourselves. These love letters are a definite pick-me-up. A beautiful reminder of how very special we are in God's eyes. And, hey, what woman doesn't like a love letter!!!!
