Grace White is the paranormal pseudonym of romance writer, L A Cotton.
She resides in the UK with her family, and lives for binge watching series on her Firestick, losing herself in a good book, and reliving her younger days through trashy teenage movies ... not necessarily in that order.

This is such a fabulous young adult series: the premise, as far as I am aware, is original and the imagined world wonderfully constructed ... I am a big fan of Reverse Harem books and have been for several years...recently there has been an increase in these type of stories but too often the male characters lack individuality or there is a bun fight between them all to identify who should get the girl..but the author has successfully created a perfectly balanced RH with distinct and relatable male leads who are as loyal to each other as they are in love with their girl.... Until this instalment I found the four main guys beguiling, with their super-human powers..but in this instalment their inner conflicts and individualities come to the fore and I have become completely invested in their lives and their relationship with the irrepressible and beautiful Terra...
Terra is under increasing pressure to find answers to so many questions she is pulled in too many directions...some things are becoming clearer some things less certain; I love the ebb and flow of this story... emotions run high as the storyline begins to explore the strength of the eternal bonds between the guys and their queen and I was totally caught up in the drama...... Darkness has arrived; Terra and her four protectors (not forgetting a witch or two thrown in, for good measure) are all that stand between evil and the end of the world...
The climactic cliffhanger ending signals that there is still a tortuous journey ahead, this may be the relative calm before the storm but it does feel like we have reached the beginning of the end rather than the end of the beginning...and I am waiting impatiently for the final stand.... I received an advanced copy of this book from the author.
I'm giving Book 3 of the Gaia Chronicles 'Caged' 4.5 Stars 🌟
For me the 'Caged' in this book refers to a number of things - Terra's inability to access Gaia's memories - The reluctance to admit their feelings for each other - The definite suppression of the majority of their sexual desires & finally the knowledge of who the 'Darkness' is, that's definitely information that's being held secret/obscured so it's also 'Caged'!! 😉
For the characters this is a tense, frustrating & worrying time but as a reader it was fabulous 😎 Sexual frustration & tension between Terra & Ross. (Thoughts on Ross in a bit) Terra & Cael have obviously become the closet 😉 Endo the joker is pining for her so badly & she clearly adores him too but the jealousy & anger vibes that sexy Sol is throwing are HUGE!!!😳
So Ross. Was I the only one who started to wonder if he's carrying huge amounts of guilt not because he had fallen in love or lost the love of his life, something along those lines BUT maybe because he had cut a deal or similar, possibly unwittingly, with the Darkness??😳😳😳 I hope I'm wrong 🙏🙏 His constant guilty looks etc are just making wonder 😕
The steamy quota shoots way up in this book!! Yeesss 👍 Deep, dark, sexy & strong Sol gives in to his need, sort of, and it's hot🔥 Well until it's not 😢 So, so sad and unfair!!!😟
After some major but necessary betrayal & magical help from witchy Violet, Teria (Terra+Gaia=Teria😂) may just get an extremely tasty sandwich🔥🎉🔥🎉🔥 Lets just say this, forgiveness comes in differing time frames & forms 😎
I can barely wait for the final book, I believe 'Crowned' 👑 is due out in August!!! It's seems so far away 😭 I loved Caged, I was really pleased with the revelations it contained & how the story progressed!!💖🌟 I LOVE Sol, Ross, Endo & Cael 💙💙💙💙
With this third book in the series, things are REALLY starting to get good! Terra is really starting to explore who and what Gaia is and how to unleash her memories that can stop the darkness. Sol and Terra finally find themselves in one another as she grows closer to all of the men. Ross still stands on the outs, but it's obvious that all of these men love Terra. This story has me so sucked in. This is not the typical story I like to read, but I'm loving this series! It's addicting, like watching my favorite show! Can't wait for the next one!
What A story... At The begining I felt it slower down and got predictable. But AFTER some Time it hot even better than book 2. Terra is in The safe house. She tries to understand everything. Thats not Easy. Tenison gets higher and higher! Emotions sky rocket and no one knows what will happen. Will Terra and Her Guardians manage to understand what is.going on? And finally There is more Sol! I think he is my fav!
I’m not sure what happened to this series. I feel that it’s stalled. This book was just a filler. We end up in the almost exact same place at the end of this as where we started. Not only that but I feel like we are loosing chemistry between the characters. The FMC has lost her “muchness.” She has become this whiney, anxiety driven character. As for the guys all this love hate stuff is really giving me the whiplash. I’m hoping in the next book we get more character and story development.
This was my favorite book of the series so far. There was a lot of progression in the relationships and the plot. We finally get to learn more about Sol and he becomes a little more human. Terra starts to embrace her powers more and make some tough decisions. I really like where this is heading and I'm excited for book 4.
Caged is the third book in the Gaia Chronicles. You'll want to read this series in order. You won't be disappointed. Oh so good!!!! Terra is about to discover some serious things and it's going to get interesting. We finally get to see more of Sol. Terra and the guys boundaries are going to be pushed.
With the darkness traced back to her dorm and her friend, Amalia, it's decided that Terra must be removed from the danger. She's taken to a safe house while the guys try to figure out what to do next. The guys have tried to think of everything Terra might want or need but it's not long before she feels more like a captive than a Goddess. Even worse Terra feels that she is losing herself; that Gaia is taking over and she's not sure that Her Chosen wouldn't actually prefer having the Goddess they served, loved for lifetimes rather than the human girl. Confused and feeling alone Terra decides that it's time to take control. It's time to find a way to all of Gaia's memories before it's too late and the Darkness has won.
Hexes, hellhounds, humility. Caged was equal parts frustration, heartache, and empowerment. I was afraid early on that I was going to come away hating this book. The isolation in the safe house, the separation from the guys emotionally and at times physically was painful. Cael and Endo did their best but Ross was withdrawn, so guilt-ridden. Sol was beyond difficult and then when it seemed there was finally a breakthrough it ended with such a feeling of betrayal. This is when the book turned. Everything heated up. I now feel the love and loyalty for Terra, not only Gaia. The guys may be in different places with Terra relationship-wise, but they are clearly all-in. Violet proved her loyalty (and strength). I wish that I could like her. I realize that it's not rational but her introduction into the series ruined her character for me permanently. I can't trust her and hate every conversation Cael even has with her. I understand her need and role but I am not a fan. Most importantly, this is the book that Terra finally won me over 100%. In the past, I have criticized her for being too weak, too uncertain, too timid. She has shown glimpses of strength that gave me hope but not enough. Now that she is losing herself I finally feel connected to her. I feel her desperation, her fear, her desire to not be consumed, the sense of betrayal she feels. I am with Terra. Finally. And Terra doesn't disappoint. She does what needs to be done for the world. Not for Gaia, not for herself. She is fulfilling their destiny. The pressure on everyone, the tension of every kind, the high emotions. So good!
This book set everything up for a final battle for Earth. Terra and the Chosen aren't quite ready to face the big bad and the Darkness yet but they are much closer than before. Together they can save Gaia's true love and find their own HEA. I can't wait for Crowned!
Caged is not a standalone and picks up right where book 2, Coveted left off.
Terra finds herself away from campus and in a safe house being guarded by the guys. The longer she stays off campus, the more trapped she starts feeling. She knows unlocking Gaia’s memories is the key to knowing what is coming her way.
The more alone time she spends with the guys, however, the more she feels Gaia’s hunger for them taking control. Afraid to lose herself to Gaia, Terra knows she must unleash the memories to battle what is coming and soon. The guys, however, do not agree. Amid her confusion for her feelings, she knows it’s time to take control and act the queen she was meant to be.
This series has been completely breathtaking so far. Terra is an amazing character that I couldn’t help but to connect with. She’s a young woman struggling with the unknown, including feelings for multiple guys and hosting a goddess within her. She’s also stronger than anyone gives her credit for.
The guys struggle in this book . . . torn between wanting to keep her safe and giving her the freedom she needs. We learn more about what transpired before Gaia fell and what it really meant for the guys to follow her to earth. My heart really goes out to Sol in particular in this book . . . And, fans of Cael and Endo will be thrilled with what transpires.
Grace White has me completely captivated. This series is unique, fun and hot as can be. I’m torn between wanting the conclusion and wanting this series to continue because of how much I’m enjoy both the plot and characters. 5 stars.
This is the 3rd book in 'The Gaia Chronicles' and I loved it! I almost inhaled the words from every page, devouring the story from beginning to end, and left wanting MORE!! I need book 4!
Terra is still uncovering secrets and locked memories from Gaia. She is still confused about some aspects of what is to come. There are lots of revelations in this book and challenges that the characters face. Terra also increases her connection with each of her 4 guys. But she also pushes them away with differing opinions of how Terra and Gaia should be dealt with.
Terra's own mind is pushed and tested with Gaia trying to break to the surface of her mind. In this book she is away from the campus being protected in the safe-house, but is she really safe? We see far more of Sol in this book which is great, and get a greater understanding of what happened to The Chosen when Gaia fell from Elysia.
A story packed full of emotion, tension and feels, I really enjoyed this 3rd part. Bring on Crowned!!
Oh my gods what a book! This book is extremely well-written and thought out. This is a short novella so the review will be to as not to ruin it for you. This is the third book in the series and I am so ready for the next. This is Terra's continuing story with Cael, Sol, Endo and Ross. Things are heating up in the story. Is Tara feels closer and closer to the boys now that they are all living Under One Roof. Unfortunately she also feels like a prisoner in the home. Not being able to leave because they're afraid something will happen to her. Hope or are they in for a shock when she plans her Escape. But she knows what she's doing and what the help of her which friend she has a plan and she knows how to get the memories of Gaia that she's missing. Now she just has to get the boys on board with what she must do. I'm so ready for the last book to see how it all ends. Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it when you do; they value your opinions too.
Caged is the third book in the Gaia Chronicles and it's really good. Terra's life has gotten crazier and she's just trying to figure things out and find her way. Sol, Endo, Cael, and Ross have been trying to protect her and have kept her at the safe house. More supernatural creatures have been drawn to Atchison College and everyone is still unsure about the big bad that's after Terra. Terra's worried that Gaia's trying to take over her body and that she might cease to be. Also she fears the guys really just want Gaia and that she doesn't measure up. There have been a couple of occasions that Gaia actually has taken control and Terra's left to feel like a spectator. But Terra's starting to come into her own and she's ready to start fighting.
The story is heating up. This is the third book in the series and you do have to read 1 and 2 before this.
I love watching Terra grow. As she battles with her feelings for her four protectors you can see the all of them coming together. Gaia powers are battling to get out, but will the four let her?
The angst in this series just keeps getting better and better. The darkness is closing in and Terra is losing time. In the writing you can feel her confusion, sadness, and turmoil roll off of her. When enough is enough she pulls out her strength. This story does unfold on its own time and in that time you don't know who to trust and who not to. The ending was like WHAT?!?!? It will leave you wanting the next book like yesterday.
Wow!! This series is hotting up big time !! Terra is finding strength to stand up to the boys and find her place in her new world. Still struggling to find the answers as to where the threat to Earth is coming from she calls on Violet's help.. whose character I've come to like a lot more! Terra's strength of character is only marred by her fear that she can not truly hold the heart of the boys and that their hearts lie with Gaia, but we see a lot of changes in this third book in the series, discovering how Gaia hurt them and their fear that Terra is not ready for Gaia's knowledge. This book is full on energy, ripe with sensual tension and gripping !! Absolutely loved it.. each book in the series has had me hooked more.. can not wait for Crowned !!
Caged, book three in the Gaia Chronicles, picks up right where Coveted left off. Without wanting to give too much away this book really started to heat up for me in that Terra is learning more about her connection to Gaia and her Chosen Warriors. This book still keeps the air of mystery as to who exactly is behind everything that is happening, but we also start to see a more witty and combative personality in Terra. This series is starting to pull everything together, but just what can we expect out of Crowned? Only time will tell.
**I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author for review consideration**
I enjoyed the third book, more of the RH scene came through a little but not loads I thought and it was nice not to be over the top especially for my first read of a RH. I thought Terra coming to realise not to be jealous and to understand the Gaia situation was good as I think if dragged out too long it would have been too much.
I thought that each guy with their different personalities is brilliant and matched so well with the elements I thought. Cael is my favourite which surprises me as it not normally that type of character.
Oh my goodness it just keeps getting better and better! Book 3 does not disappoint! The drama, mystery, suspense and hotness are at an all time high! I cannot get over the twist and turns of this book. I was so sucked in and am dying over the cliffhanger. I need book 4 ASAP! I really felt all of their emotions and feeling and I love how they communicate verbally and by thought. It add a whole different angle. Such a great series!!
This book continues the excellence of the first two. The characters are wonderful and Terra's struggles with trying to figure out how much of her feelings towards her protectors are hers and how much are Gaia's and feeling they don't really want her or she doesn't measure up are very well done. As is how she and the boys clash over their desire to keep her safe at all costs and her determination to do what is needed.
Terra is hiding from the evil at her school. She is angry and upset at being left out of the decision making. I'm glad that terra begins to stick up for herself more and fights for what she wants. The relationships continue to grow and it's hard for me to pick my favorite out of her guys. Some secrets are revealed and terra goes through some tough times. I am excited to see where this series will go next.
There is so much stuff going on in this book I don't know where to start. It picks up right at the end of the last book and moved from one surprise to another until you find yourself on the last page wishing the final book was already out. This story sets it up so nicely I bet it will be mind blowing. If you read the first two books then you so have to give this one a try. I really enjoyed it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Oh what a tangled web we weave. The drama, suspense, the mystery, and the hot romance is all part of this fantastic series. It pulls you in and doesn’t let go. You sit here and have to find out what happens. It is extremely well written and the characters are amazingly developed. Their personalities are felt throughout the story. Terra has grown greatly in this one and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next one. A must read!!!!!
I was upset this book didn't resolve more, but only because the plot was so awesome! Great characters, intricate plot, and thrilling world to inhabit! I really felt for Terra in this one, almost more than the others—while not knowing anything in book one was tough, being trapped felt so much worse! Especially with her getting in touch with more and more of Gaia. It limited the scope of the plot that was revealed, but at the same time it kept from being the same as the other books so far.
Caged is the third book in The Gaia Chronicles. I loved learning more about Terra and the guys. This book contains the perfect amount of buildup and each installment just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait for the next one.
This series is a definite recommendation from me. Just make sure you read them in order.
Another amazing instalment in the lives of Terra and her men. I was so happy to jump back into this world it was like meeting with old friends. In this book Terra is trying to unlock Gaia’s memories to try and find out what the oracle told her about the darkness. The book is gripping and fast paced and I cannot wait for the final book.
I was so looking forward to this after reading Coveted, and it didn't disappoint. I started and finished it in one sitting. This continues Terra, Sol, Cael, Endo, and Ross's story as they try to find out what darkness it out to get Earth. I read the last page of the book and said, 'Ah... Ooh... Hmm...' and now I can't wait for the next book. Bring on August.
I so have been hooked from the very beginning of this series. This book will have you feeling all your emotions. At times you will yelling at the men and then you will be loving them. This book will have you hooked from the very beginning book 1. This is a must read book that will have you feeling the emotions and feel like your are right their..
This book was smokin! Wow did I love the interactions between Terra and her guardians in book 3! And now that Terra has fully embraced who she is, I can't wait to find out all she is capable of. Grace White has set up the perfect scene for the next book too. I am so glad book 4 will be out in only a few weeks so I can devour that one too.
Grace White has done it again! Caged is beautifully written, and it had me on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what Terra had in store for her throughout this book. Grace White does a fantastic job weaving the intricate story of Gaia and Terra with her boys. I loved reading about the progression of their relationships throughout the book. I found myself laughing with Terra and hurting with Terra. If you have not started this series, you should! I will be waiting on the edge of my seat for the next one!
In this installment Terra makes huge ground with Sol just to have the memories ripped from her :( she is so strong and I am very ready for the romance to blossom with each of her suitors. I LOVE THIS SERIES.
I’m am speechless. Can this series get any better? The tensions building between Terra and the guys, her knowing what she need to do in order to save them all. The interactions with each guys blew my mind away. Can’t wait for the last book!
