Now an Amazon TOP 5 Bestseller, Amazon Most Sold, and #1 New Adult & College Romance! It's wrong, but feels so right. For months, I’ve watched her. I know she’s off-limits, but she’s so sweet, so innocent… and so sexy that she haunts my dreams. Maggie doesn’t belong in this world, this seedy underbelly of the city. But there she is, my Angel with her wide eyes behind her nerdy glasses. So, when she needs help, I’m the only one who can protect her. It didn’t even take a single kiss for me to fall in love with her. I know I shouldn’t—a man like me doesn’t deserve an Angel. I’ll hurt her, break her… ruin her. Still, I can’t help myself. She’s going to regret this later, regret me and probably even hate me. But I’m a selfish man, and if she wants this now, I’ll give it to her. I’ll give her everything.

Dirty Deeds is the third book in the Get Dirty series. It can be read as a standalone. This novel is my favorite book of the series so far. It’s even my favorite Lauren Landish book so far and I’ve read most of her books. I loved the cover, all the characters, the chemistry, the secrets, the suspense and the hot scenes. I hope that there will be another book in this series, because there are two secondary characters I really want to become a couple.
Maggie works as a waitress in a gentlemen's club. The money and her colleagues are great. It’s not her dream job, but her other job is. That job must remain a secret to her colleagues. Maggie is kind, passionate, loving, smart, independent and feisty.
Shane is a bouncer at the club where Maggie works. He’s in charge of all the bouncers. He also makes sure that all the women working at the club are fine. He likes his job. Shane is strong, protective, caring and smart.
I adored Shane and Maggie together. The attraction was obvious from the start, but being a couple is forbidden where they work. But when Maggie is in danger, Shane is there to help her and that brings them very close. There are secrets and pasts that could ruin their relationship, but they love each other too much and it only made them stronger. They believe in each other. Their happily ever after was beautiful.
-- My honest review is based on an advanced reader copy of this book. --
When I read the blurp I thought I am up on the book about slow burn and swooning romance involving a waitress and security guard in strip club. I was hoping for that tender romance. All my expectations are not met however.
Instead I get a glimpse of that tender romance only about 5% the beginning of the book, then this book launching into a hard core romance and suspense. The secret that Maggie and Shane keeps is easily to be guessed. The author does not even hide it as secret. The last 20% of the last book is boring. The characters chemistry is slow at the beginning then it rushed until the end. Even the suspense at the end... mediocre.
I even speed it up a bit just to get to the ending. Its a shame that the tender romance can not be blend with suspense better.
Overall I do not like this book, I also do not hate it either. Just a good read passing a mundane morning at work.
I don’t even know where to start with this book. I don’t often read these types of books (what I call trash literature aka erotica) but this one caught my eye and had good reviews so I though I would indulge. If you’re reading this book for what it is (erotica) then it’s fine. But if you’re looking for piece of literary gold, you won’t find it here.
The book goes back and forth between Maggie and Shane’s point of view. Maggie is an undercover tabloid reporter working at a strip club as a waitress named Meghan to catch sleazy celebrities in the act. There she meets Shane who works as a security guard. They continually flirt back and forth but can’t be together because of employee fraternizing rules.
As Maggie is working in the strip club one night a shooting takes place and Shane runs to the rescue, all but kidnapping Maggie to keep her safe. We soon find out that the club is the headquarters for a mob operation and that Shane is an undercover FBI agent. He takes Maggie on the run to keep her safe since she witnessed a mob crime and they have lots of steamy sex.
What bothered me most about this book was how random and cheesy everything was. There was no smoothness or flow to this authors writing. Yes, things tied together eventually but there was no lead up. Everything just happened randomly. For example, Maggie and Shane have sex maybe twice and suddenly they’re confessing their love for each other. They haven’t learned anything about each other, there was no reason for the reader to believe they were falling in love. And their dialogue was so bad. I felt like I was reading the script to a cheesy soap opera. The whole FBI/mob thing threw me off too. Where did that come from? Oh, and they get engaged after knowing each other for only a few months, Shane proposes to Maggie during sex, and Maggie somehow completes the training to become an FBI agent in a few months.
I did not enjoy this book. It was hard to finish and I found myself skipping chapters at the end. I’ve read erotica novels before so I wasn’t expecting this to be the next big work of literature but I have read some good ones and this one was terrible so I had to sadly give it one star.

Really liked the writing style at first, and wasn't sure where this book was going plot wise. Seemingly dark bad boy falls for cocktail waitress in a strip club where the girls are all "off limits". Then it took a weird turn and then the pace took off too fast to even seem possible. The ending came even more abruptly. Fell really flat for me.
Shane and Maggie both have a secret that they are keeping from everyone around them. Maggie is a writer for a tabloid paper and goes undercover waitressing at a strip club hoping to find stories to write about celebrity customers. So by day she is Maggie the tabloid reporter and by night she is Meghan the waitress at the club. Maggie really comes to like the people she works with at the club and is mad that her boss has put her in this position. The other thing is she has fallen for Shane, a security guard at the strip club. She and Shane have this chemistry. It is hot and sizzling between them but the problem they have is the club has a strict no dating policy between staff members. Shane has found himself being very possessive and protective over Maggie/Meghan. There are things Maggie isn’t aware of at the club and a customer gets out of control and things occur. That’s when Maggie is a witness to the events so Shane gets Maggie out of the club and to safety. The end up having to go on the run, and the club owner helps protect Maggie’s friend and keeps her safe during the fallout from the mess. There are secrets and those secrets can either break a couple or make a couple. Will Shane and Maggie be able to stay together or will the secrets tear them apart? I loved book 3 in the Get Dirty series. Shane and Maggie were hot together and the chemistry was intense. I liked the plot for it was fast pace and interesting. I cannot wait for more by Ms. Landish. She really has a way with characters and with word play.
My Rating: 4.7 stars ***** “I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."
4.5/5 - Loved this book! . . . . This book! Wowowowowowow, it literally had everything I love in a good romance story.
> Maggie a waitress at gentleman’s club. Cute, nerdy, girl next door — or is she?
> Shane is head of security at gentleman’s club and he’s got it bad for the cute nerdy waitress. Club rules says no fraternizing with employees or guests. Will he follow the rules?
Why I loved this book:
1) expertly written
2) characters I actually loved. Shane and Maggie were great. I’m usually hard on heroines but I didn’t have problems with this heroine.
3) Romance x Mafia - The mafia part kinda sneaks up on you and I was loving it.
4) plot twists - no one is who they say they are in this book
5) S M U T - like good sex scenes. Not overly descriptive but you felt like Shane is your man.
This is book 3 in the Get Dirty series but it can be read as a stand-alone. I CANNOT wait for book 4, Dom x Allie’s story. Are they hotter than Shane and Maggie?
Ok, I gave it 4.5 because of the Epilogue. I personally HATE those types of HEA’s but really there’s nothing wrong with this book.
Dirty Deeds was fantastic! It took a darker turn than the others in the series, with quite a bit of suspense and surprise.
Maggie and Shane have circled each other for awhile, resisting the attraction. Ok, sounds good, then BAM. There's a scene where an annoying customer has to get dealt with outside, and it was shocking! All of a sudden, the story has a different feel! These two are twisted up in lies, secrets, and neither are as innocent as they seem. How can you build something without trust?
This was a joyride of action, quite an adventure to go on with many many delicious DIRTY scenes to break up the crazy tension. I enjoyed this so much, it's one of my faves by Lauren Landish. Oh and PS Maggie is friggin adorable with her not so bad words!
Dirty Deeds is the third book in the series and one I was really looking forward to. I think this has to be my favourite one of the series so far. This one has drama, intrigue, lies and some very steamy moments.
Maggie is an undercover journalist working for a sleazy tabloid and has been sent on an assignment working as Meghan a waitress in a gentleman’s club keeping an eye on and exposing VIP’s and celebrities that frequent Petals. Although working for the tabloid is not the dream job she always wanted she is building a solid career for herself and one day hopes to be working for a real paper as an investigative reporter. She feels guilty about lying to her colleagues at the club as they have come to be her friends and thinks of them as family. Maggie has a connection with Shane the head of security for petals from the start and they circle each other both wanting to be more but there is one thing that the owner of the club is very strict on and that’s fraternisation between the staff…..
Shane wants Meghan from the moment he meets her there is something that draws him to her no matter what he does to stay away from her he just cant. After an incident between a patron and Meghan he cannot stay away and finds himself watching her more and more telling himself that he is keeping her safe but all he really wants is the innocent feisty girl that consumes him whenever he is near her.
During a shift at the club Maggie is the witness to a terrifying incident and before she knows what is happening Shane has her out of the club and taking her away from the danger. And promises her that he will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Maggie finds herself in the middle of a mob war and being hunted by a hitman. With both Maggie and Shane keeping secrets will either of them survive and can their love survive all that has happened?
These two characters I loved from the start I was curious about Maggie from the second book of the series I found her character intriguing and was so pleased when she got her own story. And what a story her and Shane have, there are twists and turns you won’t see coming. Fab read and I am hoping this isn’t the end of this series……
I basically buy every book Amazon throws my way if they're under two bucks (yes, I have a problem) and sometimes it's a pleasant surprise, sometimes it's not.
I'm gonna start saying I'm not into dirty talk. And this book it's like spitting filth all over. I mean, they can think about all the dirty things they want to do to you, sure, but they don't have to tell you about it, like you need a walkthrough, like you're not gonna be participant or something, spoiler alert, man. Anyway, yeah, I can read characters thinking about it, that's okay, I understand that, but when thinking goes into talking I just find it crude and don't like it at all, so yeah, that's my personal preference, I guess.
Then there's the "We've shared like two sentences over the last two months, one of them while fucking, but oh, this is not lust, no, no, this is love, we love each other so much" that made me roll my eyes so much they hurt now.
I liked the side characters way more than I liked the main ones. Shane is like the worst God, I rolled my eyes again. They really hurt.
Anyway, the only thing I liked about this book was the club storyline, I found it interesting. Also Dominik (favorite character, hands down), maybe Allie and the whole mob thing.

And once again I'm captured by Lauren's dirty mind and incredible good writingstyle. This time you'll feel the danger. Mixed with extremely hot scenes. Because Shane is a HUGE challenge. His bad guy attitude is everything. He is pure and dirty masculinity. While Meghan/Maddie. Well all I can say is... expect the unexpected from her. Because Maggie is far from being the blonde stupid girl cliche. Because she will leave you literally speakless. She's beautiful, sassy, smart, perspicacious, pure temptation dressed in a waitress uniform. She loves to play with the danger. She is so damn good when she's on mission. She knows how to plays her cards. Megan is 99% an angel an 1% a innocent "Winx". Together...well they fit dirty-perfectly. Get ready for this crazy dose of dirty adrenaline. Because I'm sure you'll totally enjoy it and want more. Lauren knows perfectly how to "mess" your mind, to spoil you, to make you crave for more. I love getting dirty reading your books, Lauren! Just tell me you are going to write Dom 's and Allie's story, please!!!!
Maggie and Shane are red hot and deliciously scintillating. Maggie has been uncover in all kinds of positions to get the story but her latest stint working at the Gentleman's Club Petals is far and away outside her normal tableau. Maggie has always had a knack for blending into the scenery which is great for getting the dish for her job but can leave a girl's social life lacking. She's also finding the longer she barkeeps as “Meghan” Petals newest sexy girl next door she is making some real friends and one co-worker in particular lights her clear on fire. Shane gives off this hard bad boy vibe but with every encounter and action he is proving to have some sweet to go with that spice. Shane knows he should avoid the sweet and innocent Angel that's been haunting not only his dreams but also his waking hours. She is too good and too pure to be dragged into everything that is his life. But when a threat befalls his girl he will not stand by without stepping in all White Knight, but doing so could bring down an even bigger house of cards than he even knew.

A good read. Meghan/Maggie and Shane were super cute n sexy together. I am planning to go back and start at the beginning of this series in the future!
Wow what a great 3rd story in this series! This story is about Maggie and Shane. Maggie is a writer for a tabloid paper and goes undercover waitressing at a strip club hoping to find stories to write about celebritiy customers. Maggie meets and becomes friends with some of the staff and enjoys her work. Right from the start she has a connection with Shane a security guard but there is a strict policy no dating staff. Shane has found himself being very protective of Maggie and they are aware of their connection to one another and not able to do anything about it. One night while working a customer goes too far with Maggie and Shane gets in between them and Dominick the owner helps deal with him. Shane ends up taking her home to make sure she is okay and spends the night on her couch curled up together! Things get very interesting for them at work and Shane ends up being a big tease to Maggie. During a shift the unthinkable happens in the club and Maggie is a witness so Shane takes Maggie to safety and they go on the run. Dominick takes her friend and keeps her safe from the fall out. Once they are away from the club do the secrets start to come out. Maggie had no idea what was really going on in the club and who Shane really is. Shane has promised he will do whatever is necessary to keep her safe. While trying to stay safe their situation and feelings get the better of them and they give in 100% to each other. Will Maggie’s and Shane’s secrets bring them closer or end what they have started before it can go any further? Will Shane be able to keep his promise to keep Maggie safe? There are twist in this story you will not see coming and the way they affect all the characters makes this a great read! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Shane and Maggie both have a secret that they are keeping from everyone around them. Maggie is working as Meghan at the club at night by day she is Maggie tabloid reporter. She was put in undercover at the club by her boss. However she ended up liking the people she worked with an genuinely felt bad about lying to them. She was attracted to Shane a bouncer at the club but there was a no dating policy so she didn't think she ever get him. Shane watches everything going on in the club nothing escapes his notice one evening when a customer is getting all hands with Meghan he stepped in. Then later as he walks her to her car the same customer pops up out of no where and Shane ends up banning him from the club. He takes Maggie "Meghan" home and they both end up falling asleep on her couch. Things never go the way they should and Maggie sees something she shouldn't sending her and Shane on the run. Will they both come clean about their secrets? Will they survive the threat they are facing?
This is an amazing story and will keep you entertained from beginning to the end. The chemistry between Shane and Maggie is extremely hot. This was a well written story with great characters. Once I started I couldn't put it down. I would recommend this to anyone that loves a great love story.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. I enjoyed it so much I bought my own copy.

Shane is in charge of security at the club where Maggie works. Maggie is sweet, sexy and a little nerdy and Shane finds her irresistible. Shane is a rough, bad boy and the star of all her fantasies, not that they would ever come true. Maggie is a good girl, not the type Shane would ever consider. Obviously Shane hides his feelings well. Shane believes he is not good enough for Maggie, so there's that. After an unexpected incident, Shane finds himself alone with Maggie at her apartment....playing with fire. Well more like a spark. Maggie is more that what she portrays herself to be. It's something she can't disclose at this point in time, so no, they will never be playing with fire. Not possible with the 'out of his league' thing and the non disclosure. Just when things begin to settle, Maggie gets herself into a predicament and needs to disappear. Her only hope is Shane. That's when he decides to come clean about who he really is. WOW, I TOTALLY DID NOT SEE THAT COMING ! AWESOME STORYLINE WITH LOTS OF TWISTS AND TURNS ! INSANE, INTENSE CRAVING WITH RAW, ALL CONSUMING PASSION ! ! ! DIRTY, NASTY, BREAK THE BED, RIP THE SHEETS SEX ! ! ! THIS STORY IS AMAZING FROM BEGINNING TO END AND IT WILL DEFINITELY KEEP YOUR INTEREST !
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I really enjoyed the third book in the Get Dirty series. Shane and Maggie had so much chemistry from the very beginning. We first meet both of them in the Dirty Laundry book. Maggie is friends with Elsie a coworker with her at the on line tabloid where Maggie works. Shane is the security guard at the strip club Maggie is working undercover at as a waitress. The two have been dancing around each other for months. Shane feels very protective of Maggie and Maggie has been noticing Shane and the way he seems to always be watching her. /She is there to seek out the celebrities who go there and write about them for the tabloid she works for. She has no idea what is really going on at the club and who Shane really is. Until one night when she sees something happen. Shane will do anything to protect her. During the course of all the drama happening in their lives they fall for one another and hope that through it all they will be together when everything is settled. This was a wonderfully written story with twists along the way. Full of drama and suspense and a lot of hot and steamy nights for Maggie and Shane. I absolutely loved who this story ended and the great HEA!
This is the latest book in Lauren Landish's Dirty series. In this book you have Maggie, who is a waitress named Meghan at a strip club but is actually a reporter for an entertainment rag. She is moonlighting there to get the scoop on any celebrities that may come into the high end gentleman's club. It is way outside of her pinwheel though. Then there is Shane who works in security at the club. He is a bad boy to the core but there is something about Meghan and her innocence that makes him keep his eye on her to make sure nothing happens to her. She is innocent but also can play the part and he thinks she is gorgeous. There is a no fraternization rule though at the club. Will they be able to keep their hands off each other? Will Maggie's ability to be in the wrong place at the wrong time get her into deep trouble? Will Shane be able to stay away from hi "angel" as he doesn't want to drag her into his life? There is lots that happens in this book and I don't want to give it away but it definitely keeps you reading. Enjoy! .

The third book in the Get Dirty Series first words that come to mind is " holy Shitzu"! I could not put down the fast-moving sexy thrill ride of a tale! The story catapults you into a world of deceit, secrets, dangerous criminal ties, and how far one's devotion will go to protect another! " From your lips to the universes ears." Maggie and Shane- the good girl and the bad boy. These two seemingly opposites are bound together by more than just attraction. Shane will do whatever it takes to protect her from the threats that are coming at Maggie, can he defend her and himself while maintaining his secrets? So much love for this story, the characters seemed to leap off the pages! Humorous, with so much sexiness going on! *Phew* the suspense building aspect, with details that are all put into play for a reason, this plot twisted romance was a spectacularly delicious literary mini vacation- I am so glad I went on! A #OneClick #MustRead Super Excited for the next book!
You will absolutely love this couple together if they can ever get to be one. Meghan has worked at Petals the strip club serving drinks for a while now she looks so innocent that the bouncer Shane can’t believe she is still there. Meghan is undercover for her other job as a reporter for a gossip magazine but the tips help keep a roof over her head and she has gained a family. No matter how bad Shane wants her there is a no employee fraternization rule so it’s hands off for him until a customer waits to attack her by her car and Shane takes care of her. When Meghan’s noisiness gets her in hot water Shane gets her out of there and their attraction they have been fighting has a chance to ignite that’s if no one kills them first. Loved the chemistry between Shane and Meghan and an exciting story too!
I love Lauren Landish's books. In Dirty Deeds, we have Shane -- big, badass, and HOT. He's also head of security at Petals, a local strip club. We also have Meghan -- petite, friendly, and an oh-so-sweet waitress at Petals. Their interest in each other is tempered by the 'house' rule - No fraternization between co-workers. As part of his job, Shane keeps an eye on the waitresses & dancers. When a guy gets out of hand with Meghan, Shane steps in. Through conversation, they acknowledge their attraction to each other but know they can't act on it. For many reasons, the least of which is the secrets each is hiding. This story has a huge number of twists and turns on the way to an HEA! It's another winner from Lauren Landish!
WOW! This is another amazing read by Lauren Landish!
Maggie and Shane’s story made me laugh half the time because of their hilarious banter and flirting … The other half I spent gasping for air… At times this book is just too hot and too suspenseful !
I loved the characters… they are strong, fighting like cats and dogs against their mutual and forbidden attraction… and fail…
I loved the protective instincts of the male characters and their alpha behaviour… giving off all those bad boy vibes and also that they own up to their golden hearts.
And I loved the strong and not too innocent heroines…
This book is pure entertainment and another must read by Ms. Landish!

Shane is a tough bad boy, who is in charge of security at club Petals, and when a new sweet waitress Meghan starts, there is an instant intense attraction between them. When Meghan finds herself in a dangerous predicament, Shane takes he to safety. With these two in hiding, what will happen when their secrets are exposed, as neither of them is who they portray? No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed! This is a wonderful story, which is well written, and had me intrigued and enthralled throughout. I highly recommend this authors’ work for all readers, and I cannot wait to read more from her. Amazing story Lauren!!
One of my favorite books in a long time. This is book 3 in this standalone series and the other two are great books, loved them both but this one blew me away. Look at that cover, wait until you crack it open and read this book. Ghost chili pepper hot but also some dangerous bad boy grit to it as well. Still has the humor you expect but did I mention the heat, lol, well it's so good. Shane is to die for, I want him for myself and Maggie is a great character full of spunk and smarts. I was a lucky one to receive an early copy to read and review and I highly recommend this book. I loved it.
Maggie & Shane I absolutely love. Shane is a sexy security guard working at Petals and Maggie is sweet, kind, a little nerdy but Shane finds her irresistible. Both like each other but can’t be together. But when their is danger Shane will do anything to protect Maggie. This story was very interesting and held my attention from the beginning. There is secrets and when they come out will Shane & Maggie be over before they even started? This is a must read that will have you reading non stop. Another great read by Lauren that will have you loving Maggie & Shane.

Dirty Deeds by Lauren Landish a down and dirty five-star read. This is the Third book in the Get Dirty series but they can all be read as stand-alone, this may just be my favourite of the three. The main pair in this are Maggie and Shane and they have some great chemistry, but they can’t do anything about it as they met at work and the strip joint they ‘work’ at has a very strict no touching policy for staff and customers. There is a lot going on in this story and then just when you are thinking yes, it’s all coming together boom Lauren pulls the rug from under you with a plot twist you won’t see coming. Amazing book and amazing series.
