Jesus commanded that every disciple be baptized.For most of us, this begins and ends with beingdunked in water in the ‘name of the Father and ofthe Son and of the Holy Spirit’.Water baptism is wonderful, but it is only thebeginning of our baptism, not the end. Jesus desiresfor us to embark on a lifelong journey of beingimmersed into the person of God, thereforeparticipating in His divine nature.If you are going to experience the kind of life forwhich you were created, then you must do everythingto experience the depths of God’s being and powerand love.
