Honestly the best part about this book is the cover. I love the cover..

The story however....is less than stellar. Absolutely no character development or world building. There was such an opportunity to make this a good well written story.. But it just wasn't. Not at all. I tend to expect indie romances like this to be badly written.. But this was a whole nother level. I don't mind a cheesy predictable romances. But this practically spelled out everything that was going to happen from page one. And then just never did anything more with it from there.

Honestly, I think the author wrote a 10 page plot summary very briefly describing points she wanted to hit in her story...and then accidentally published that instead of the real novel.

Maybe I am the only one who got the plot summary instead her real novel. All the 4 and 5 stars seem to be reviewing an actual book. So maybe we didnt even read the same thing.

But no, really, seriously.. *insert "its a gonna be a no from me dawg" American idol gif*

Thanks to Elizabeth Briggs for sending me a copy of Holiday Guests, a great, quick read over this holiday season. I enjoyed reading about Leah and totally understand her frustration working on Christmas Eve - I'll be working it again this year - but that's about all Leah and I have in common.

It was quite the read, and not exactly what I was expecting, but I flew through it and actually found myself enjoying it. It's been a while since I read any type of erotic novel, so it was a nice change of pace for me!

3 wolf shifters in love with the same woman make a plan to make her theirs this Chrismas.

This is my first time reading things that relate to the season we are in, I usually just continue reading whatever is next on my list. But I am glad I did this.
This story was cute. It was super cheesy at times, but it was still cute.
Because this is a short story, it was fast paced. But it wasn't unbelievable like some I've read before.
Things happened in a semi natural way and it flowed nicely.

If there was a rating under zero, I would go for this one instead. With no plot, no intersting characters and nothing special in the writing, I have no clue what people found in this novella and rated it with five or four stars. WHAT is there that I missed? It's predictable from page one and more unrealic than anything I've ever read. Sorry if i'm too sharsh but that's what it is.

Short and fast reverse harem! This was an ok read, there isn't a ton of character development or world building. However it was a nice and short feel good and steamy holiday read! Sometimes you need books like this, especially if you are in a slump or need a breather from more intense reads. Overall good read and I wouldn't hesitate to read another like this!

Honestly that was cute. It was a very short novella. Most of the times novellas do have a tendency to be more on the ridiculous side and this one definitely did but it was a fun read. Honestly no complaints. It was entertaining and fun. But damn there was a lot of spice😂maybe a little too much 😂
