A package of sci-fi, a bit of (dark) history of a nation, actions, symbolism, conspiracy theory, and some romance. To me, the book was an easy and fun to read without forcing me to think too hard. Just my typical reading because reading a novel is one of my ways to ease my mind. The storyline is juggling between two worlds, and then finally the main characters form both worlds collide; presented in a way that easy to follow. There are still mysteries to solve, so I’m looking forward for the second book. For the sci-fi part, I liked the author’s wildest imagination took me to some technology that has not existed yet, or maybe it won’t be because some moral conscious were in play. However, I believe the author had done some major research on the real science to support his so-called-science.
It's a good story that shows what happens when worlds collide. There are battles that are both literal and figurative in this easy reading plot. It started off slow, but the reader soon entered the alien world. The story was unique and interesting. The characters were interesting, but not always easy to follow, but when a few things seemed disjointed, they were soon straightened out. It was worth the read from beginning to end. I look forward to more stories from this new author.
This book far exceeds my expectation! It showcases intricate emotion of friendship, family relationship, and politics of power. The author also webbed an imagination of what would an experience of jumping to a wormhole be. Can't wait for the next series!
A very emotional drama and love all the character. The author did a very good work to build my emotional while reading it Very brilliant and enjoy my reads
Reading Experimentum bring me into another wolrd full of action and imagination. I like the way David wrote it. It is light yet giving me a lot of wild ideas about what its like being an alien, being a child in 1950s and being a human in an other dimension with much better technologies. I like the tech especially... :D
I can't wait to read the next chapter of this book. I hope it can be released soon.
Keep going David. I love your writing so much. Sorry for the delayed review.
I can’t believe this novel mixed stories between September 30th Movement of Indonesian Communist Party history and science fiction. It has a good concept of story and emotional as well. I couldn’t put it down when I read the book. The story flowed well, and I love the plot. And the characters are interesting (I like the name all the things and people in Orixa, sounds unique and origininal). The space description was brilliant.
The ending of the book is completely unexpected.
David has created very good story for those who addicted to sci-fiction. It’s got everything I need, science-history-adventure-friendship, and love story.
