This book started on a high note. I did initially liked the character of Aaron Court. It was an idea of a western lawyer that appealed to me. I was hoping it would be someone a little more refined then the general crowd of western macho men. I was mistaken. Very mistaken in the hero. Our heroine on the other hand, I was gaining respect for.
However, the second half of the book takes such a sharp turn down the hill that I almost couldn’t finish it.
By the time I got to the last quarter, I was disgusted and couldn’t figure out how will author make it into happy ending. She has dig herself in to a ditch and didn’t get out.
