This is a coffee table book and I really enjoyed it. The state is Washington and it covers agriculture (apples, potatoes and cherries plus grains), geology (ice age floods, glaciers erosion to form the Columbia Plateau and volcanoes in Washington), wildlife species, History of the state and a myriad of topics I found novel for this type of book.
