Retired Detective Pearl Kramer is back and he’s ready to fill in the details about a terrorist group that wants to take down our government. At the same time, he gives LAPD Detective Kate Sexton information about the biological father she’s never known.
Hollywood Underworld, the twenty-first book in the Hollywood Alphabet Series, is a race against time to find the most wanted terrorist in the world. Nathan Caine has killed before and he’s ready to kill again, but this time the stakes are higher than anyone could ever imagine.
Hollywood Underworld is M.Z. Kelly’s most gripping novel of suspense yet—filled with twists and turns that will keep readers on the edge of their seats.
M.Z. "Mack" Kelly, spent over thirty years in the field of law enforcement. He often draws on his experience working with gangs, violent offenders, and the court system in writing his books. He currently lives in Southern California, not too far from the streets of Hollywood that he writes about!
I have been struck by a couple of things in this series. First, the protagonist cannot say "No" to any of the antics of her two mismatched, "pre-teen minded" friends and second one would think the FBI is more "The Swarm" than the Swarm is. Still a good series, but this has a real downer.
MZ Kelly’s books are always fun to read. There aren’t a lot of authors whose books are as good at the end of a series as the beginning, but the Hollywood series is great storytelling in every book.
MZ Kelly has a flow to his writing that is believable and the characters are well developed as well as likable. If this is the first book in the series you have read head back to the first in the series & read the complete series!!!
I've grown to love Kate, Natalie, and Mo...will miss the crazy bunch when the series comes to an end in the near future. I thought this book was one of the best in the series. I must give Mr. Kelly props for using a very small town in the county I grew up near in Ohio.
