Oczami Jezusa

Rate this book

Podczas podróży Jezus dotyka serc, duszy i myśli wszystkich, z którymi rozmawia. Czyniąc to, wielokrotnie objawia swoją Boskość.

This book changed me. It opened my heart to the love of God, unshackled so many of my bonds that had held me prisoner for years, and I am not the same person I was before. I feel free. Say what you want about private revelations and visionaries and mysticism, but you can't deny the results. All of thee above are gifts from God to open and change hearts to love Him more and more, and that is what this book did. Thank You, Lord.

My feelings about narration of this book are ambivalent as is in the origin of the story. Nevertheless, I found a lot of helpful teachings in it and all of them answer question how to really love.

A beautiful well written book by Jesus, no words can describe how wonderful this book truely is. This book is filled with words written by Jesus as he travels with his disciples he brings healing, forgiveness, compassion, love, justice, truth, encouragement, happiness, peace, joy, awareness, kindness and so much more!
This book will touch your heart as you read about his teachings wherever he goes. Everything written in this book is not recorded in any bible, this is through the eyes of Jesus as he sees it, including times he is praying with our Heavenly Father and his thoughts that he knows and sees everything that is going on around him all the time.
This book was given to me from a friend and she read it 4 times I can easily understand why I would read it at least another 5 times if not more it’s by far the best book I have ever read and I will read this book again after my children have read it.
I highly recommend this book to anyone it will bring you closer to God and give you a better understanding of God our Heavenly Father! This is the longest review I have ever written and I could go on and on about this wonderful spiritual book.
Well done Carver Alan Ames. Also note that there is 3 books in one, and I didn’t want this book to end!

This book completely transformed my understanding of Jesus. As Christians, we know Him as Lord and accept that He is a bigger-than-life being. This book, though, shows how a bigger-than-life figure might live his or her everyday life. Reading it helped me see Jesus as a kind, gentle, loving, forgiving man who interacted with people on a daily basis just as I could choose to interact with others today. We learn so much about Jesus' teaching, but never hear how he operationalized love in his everyday interactions. This book fills in that missing piece.

I felt that I was there, walking along Jesus in his path to Jerusalem, the way he stops in every town because somebody needs healing, The personalities of the apostles and how they grow through that walk with Jesus, made me think of our condition of apostles too and that we need to continually grow with Jesus by our side. Wonderful book!

I've been inching my way thru the this, only because I want to savor each and every entry. Never felt closer to Jesus on a personal level in my life.
Alan was given such a gift with these recollections and if you watch any interview with him discussing it, he speaks of Jesus as his friend. We all should speak of our Lord and Savior that way.
Every time I read a new entry I long to be one of the disciples journeying with them into these villages with Jesus. You're in Jesus' head. He knows everything and everyone he comes into contact with. You feel the love He has for every single person who comes His way.

Through the Eyes of Jesus is the most beautiful and simple book about the Gospel i have ever read. It enabled me to see Jesus and his teachings in an ordinary and more humane way. It is the next book to the my Bible, if not one and the same.

This author is a holy man. He has seen light and salvation. He has affected my friends, who saw Jesus, through his powers of telekinesis. The reader sees the bible through the first person voice of Christ. This is a most interesting and creative perspective. It allows the reader to see the ancient world as Jesus did. The bible's stories take on a different slant here, and the writer seems inspired, driven by another force, one with pure white light, one with salvation and grace. Thank you to my friends for this book: it is phenomenal!! But, I feel, this work must be taken in small sips, like the best vanilla shake you don't want to finish!
Alan Ames was born in London in 1953. In his youth, he was a member of a motorcycle-gang, he went along a path full of violence and alcohol. After his marriage, he moved to Australia with his family. The turning point of his life happened in 1993 when Alan saw his past life displayed before him and experienced how his sins and wrong ways had hurt God. He saw how Jesus offered him forgiveness from the cross. After some struggles, Alan accepted the forgiveness offered by Jesus. The Lord helped Alan to come back to the sacraments and to the Church and changed Alan's hatred and pain into love. Later, God called Alan to be one of His witnesses, sent to carry God's love into the world. Alan has brought hope and blessing to hundreds of thousands of people – the hope and blessing which he himself draws from his sacramental relationship of love with the Trinitarian God.

I tried to be open to this book, and the themes in it are fine. But I am always skeptical of these claims of mystical revelation. Even more troubling to me was the claim by the author that his revelation was that he was a vehicle for what essentially was the Gospel according to Jesus. I mean he wasn't "imagining" what Jesus might have experienced, he was claiming divine revelation of what Jesus actually experienced, through the eyes and voice of Jesus. And this revelation was actually a poor rendition of any of the other traditional Gospels. The apostles were caricatures. There was very little that really seemed human about any of the characters, Jesus included. The richness and complexity of the human condition was non-existent. I couldn't help it, but the phrase that kept popping up in my mind to describe the way the "revelation" unfolded was "Jesus Christ and the Twelve Dwarves."

Reading the stories of Jesus and His disciples during Jesus' ministry- through the eyes of Jesus- genuinely touched my heart. Each passage has a message to us from Jesus. I made notes and highlighted throughout the entire book, to re-read for prayer, reflections and meditations. I believe it was the Holy Spirit that I found this book, I feel closer in my relationship with Jesus. An amazing book.

Through the Eyes of Jesus is the life of Jesus written from a perspective as if the author were Jesus. This book was published in 1996 by Alan Ames Carver. This book is an amazing spiritual guide through the faith and apart from the Bible, may be the most helpful book in understanding Jesus’ teachings and the Catholic faith. When reading it, I was spurred into action and it really persuaded me to start becoming stronger in my faith. Having gone to a Catholic school through eighth grade this book really hit home with me. It was a detailed explanation of Jesus’ life and ministry. While it was hard to read cover to cover, some sections were very interesting and kept me reading. It taught me things I hadn’t known about apostles and the ministry Jesus’ did going from city to city. I would recommend this book to those looking for a spiritual kickstart in their life or even those who are strong in their faith and just have not read it yet.
