Unholy Trinity #5

Witch's Rebirth

Rate this book
I’m done running. It’s time to end this.

The only problem? Our enemies have weapons that can kill demons.

I won’t let any of my loved ones die. But my lovers won’t let me fight alone. If I do, we all know I won’t come back.

We have to rely on our new shifter friends for support, as well as each other. Even though I’m fighting my feelings for the stormy-eyed outsider, I’m starting to believe I can trust him.

When he offers himself up as a sacrifice for me, will it force us to confront the brewing storm between us? Or will this plan backfire terribly?

Most importantly, will this move save us and the future of all witches?

And they all lived HEA

Had fun reading this. It was a fun, fast paced series with a decent amount of action and, of course, a lot of sumthin’ sumthin’ included for your reading pleasure. Only quibble was that the coven didn’t get what they deserved, nor did Diana suffer enough... but maybe that’s just me? 😉

A solid little paranormal romance series.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

While I did not want this amazing to series to end I have to say that this is the perfect finale!! Deja really kicks some butt now after a few more twists, turns, and surprise just to keep us guessing. The dynamics are just incredible and I couldn't dream up even half of this stuff if I even tried. If you like paranormal RH novels then you so have to read this series. You will not be disappointed!! I loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.

Bring it on in

Deja was killed. Again. This time by her grandmother. Only thing is, she never stays dead. Even angel magic wrapped in a blood spell can't slow her down. And this time, when she comes back, she won't let family ties keep her from finishing things. She'll deal with the rest of the world and changing witch, shifter and human beliefs later. But first grandma needs to go.

Spoilers ahead.
Yeah, I enjoyed the reread as much as the first go round. It gets a little sappy, a lot mushy, and possibly devolves into trite towards the end but it held its own until then lol. And I know several series were made around this one. Astrid's, Nona's, and I can't remember the other that's in this same set up. I will have to go hunt those down.

This was a fun series and I’m glad everything wrapped up so nicely. Not only that but we get an adorable epilogue five years after the end. Deja gets her HEA with her guys, including the newbie who has many generations to catch up on. The foe was almost too easy to defeat but regardless I’m glad they are gone. Also so happy Deja’s friend turned out to be a shifter especially since her witch friendship ended so horribly. This entire series in audio was worth every penny and they honestly flew by like nothing!

It took long enough for Seth to worm his way in!

I honestly think Seth's personality is my favorite but physique is likely Ash or Sal . . . I think I like this ending. Not exactly HEA but more of a HFN and I can accept that.

Aaaand breathe! A tension filled, action packed, satisfying ending to Deja's story

So many questions. What about Raum? What about the three visitors? How will things end with Deja's twisted grandmother? Do we see Lucifer again? What about Seth? Will Ash ever loosen up?
Crystal has answered these questions, tied up all the loose ends and finished Deja's story with a great epilogue which gives me closure. I do, however, hope that we see Deja and her men again, either in their own books or as guest stars in any related series that might appear. Deja has turned into a formidable force and I love the demons but then, who doesn't?
This book is gripping and I got caught up in it from the opening page. It picks up seamlessly from the shock ending of Witch's Exile and you'll have to read it for yourself if you want to know what happens. Deja is certainly put through the wringer and definitely comes out stronger, more confident of her abilities and her desires. Her men are all so different but are united by their love for Deja and they don't have it easy in this book either. It was illuminating to see their reactions to events, especially the cool, calm and collected Ash (who is my favourite, bless him).
The story flows so well, it was hard to put it down because I couldn't find a natural place to stop (and I didn't want to!). I was desperate to reach the end but at the same time, didn't want it to ever end.
But now that it has finished, you can read the whole series in one go if you haven't already read the others and if you haven't, why not? I guarantee you'll put your life on hold to read Deja's story and you definitely won't be disappointed.
Crystal has become one of my favourite authors and I can't wait to see what delights she has for us next.

Great series!!

I loved this series and all the characters created by the author. Even though I think I complained about the length in every review because the books were fairly short, I think I take back those complaints because I was able to finish them quickly which allows me to start on the spinoff series that I just now discovered!! Seriously, even though each book in this series is shorter than the typical book, nothing felt rushed, poorly written, or lacked detail.

This may be a little spoilerish but I have to say it. When Deja disappeared during the big showdown with Diana, and all her men were falling apart, as sad as it was it was still beautiful to read especially when she came back. That whole scene was probably my favorite, seeing Ash completely fall apart because the love of his life was gone and their elated reactions when she cane back 😍😍

Definitely an incredible series by an author who has now gained a pretty loyal fan in myself!! I can not recommend this series and her other works enough!

OH MY COOKIES AND CREAM!!!
Talk about a rollercoaster ride through hell. Crystal rocks this baby. All the action packed, fast paced, smoking hot tale that hits the ground running. No time to slow down. Talk about danger and death nipping your heels. Close calls. Crystal brings every emotion you can possibly have to frontline. Keeping the action and suspense going throughout this entire series. From rocking demons to psycho grandmas. The main characters personalities has been constantly playing off one another in perfect balance as their feelings for one another stands strong. The scenes are so graphic and detailed that it paints such a realistic backdrop and makes this bad boy pop! This is one you don't want to miss. Call it an investment. You'll read this baby over and over again. Yeah, it's that good. Crystal did a magnificent job bringing this read to life flawlessly and without a crease. Fantastic job Crystal, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.

My review is 4 stars.

As the story enters in this 5th book, it became more and more interesting and there is also a lot of the characters too. There is so much happening in this one and while reading I can say there is no room for an actual breathe because there is a lot of happening all around, so much pressure and so much tension.

The transformation from book 4 to book 5 is a little tedious otherwise no problem at all. I really connected with the story in this one from the previous in the series and all the scenes and the dialogues are written remarkably. When I was reading through the last fifteen pages I was actually little tense while reading so I would say author succeeded in what she was trying to do, take her reader in her spell.

Now I'm eyeing what is going to come next.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

Well, I can’t say I saw that coming. Deja found some much needed backbone and stepped up. The ending was a little anticlimactic but the story wrapped up nicely.

Yay Old homies have returned and secrets revealed! My theory had been that the angel kiss wouldn’t be able to kill Deja because she was created of the earth but that didn’t seem to be the case.

This whole series was original in that the baddest of bad guys was a good guy and the role reversal made an interesting story tho I found it really hard to believe of Lucifer as a father figure. Yuck, but at least he had a plan.

Alls well that ends well I say.

Holy broomsticks

This book was such a great ending to the story. Man oh man so much happened in such a little time. God I really wanted to strangle Seth at times...but I’m glad he’s part of the harem. That sexual tension was off the charts. Lucifer, I want more of that sexy man. Hope he gets his own harem; fingers crossed. Diana, that witch deserved what she got and more. I kind of wish Deja was able to throat punch her. Juno broke my heart with her betrayal. I’m so happy Nona has a story love her character so much. Loved every min of this book. Be sure to read the others in order to make sense.

Tears of joy!

This series was unbelievable. I absolutely loved deja's character through and through. She is so strong and powerful but at the same time is gentle and has a huge heart. She cares so much about the people around her but if you threaten or disrespect someone she loves, well let's just say your f***ed ! don't even get me started on her men. They all had such different personalities but they meshed so well together. Between the amazing characters, the action, and finally the hea, this series was amazing! ( only disappointment is I don't get to find out what the baby is at the end lol)

A Must Read. Deja has decided to stop running and take a stand . With the help of her new friends this could end , but at what cost . She will not let those she love get hurt again. There was romance ,action, fighting friends and family getting together to make a spell or two. This book sucked me in , I enjoyed seeing how the book ended and the surprises that now make sense but I am sad that the story is over. I really enjoyed the journey that Deja and her demons went on and what she has to look forward too in this life . I voluntarily read and arc of this book.

One common thread you are going to see with this series is that readers love the characters and the action throughout each book! This is a series that you don’t want to see come to an end because it’s that good.

The author did give this final book its wonderful ending, but readers will miss the characters that felt like old friends. This book was a delightful read and well worth your time! Now that they are all available to you, you won’t have to wait in suspense for the next one – so grab them all and enjoy Deja’s story!

Spectacular!!!

I have absolutely loved this series from beginning to end. With each book it just got better. This last one that tied it all up, I really have no words to describe it. So much emotion, and suspense that you could feel it. Great plot and fantastic characters. A very little bit of the dialogue was kind of cheesy but it fit. I can't wait to see what this author does next. If you like Rh this is a must read series, the story along with it is amazing and written beautifully.

I have enjoyed this series from Crystal Ash so much, from beginning to end. Aside from it being well developed, you feel invested in these characters, and I think that’s the sign of a brilliantly written book or series - when you want it to keep going, even after the end. Crystal Ash finished this series in an exciting and incredible way, fitting Deja and her men, and the epilogue helps bring a closure so you’re not left wondering what happens. This was a brilliant series, and I really look forward to what the author does next.

Good story, out on Audible too so able to listen as I work. Not completely unique story wise but enough novelness to keep me engaged.
I like Deja, she is a relatable character, with a load of baggage from her childhood which is mentioned but not really expanded upon yet.
Demons and demony ... again these are not new to this genre, but they are individual, and the narrator does a reasonably good job separating the voices.
A lot to read for whole series, but I enjoyed it. Easy read/listen with a satisfying conclusion!

This series has been such a ride. From beginning to end I was enthralled. I fell deeply in love with these characters, and became truly invested in them.
And now I have mixed emotions. On one hand, I’m sad to see this saga end. On the other, I think it was wrapped up beautifully and answered my lingering questions.
So yes, I truly do recommend this series. And I’m excited to see what Crystal has in store for us readers in the future.

A amazingly well written book, wow I love this book.
A great ending to the series.
A book about deja and her 3 men.
Will raum survive? Can she heal him in time?
Will deja give into her feelings and accept seth as her 4th mate?
A love that can survive centuries and even deja dying and coming back a few times, her men waited for her.
I highly recommend this book to read. I couldn't put it down.

What a fabulous ending to the series! In a way I was sorry to see the end of the series but by the same token, I really needed to know what came next! The whole, this book and the series was a fabulous read and I suggest you get the books today!

I am really hoping that this will lend itself to a new series still featuring the folk from this one!

Really good job Crystal!

Wow the series is over for now. So many feelings. So much no one knows what to do at times. Who to trust. Deja, her demons and now Seth. Can they stand up to her grandmother? Will Deja be able to beat her grandmother? Will she be able to protect her lovers and friends? Can her lovers and friends protect her? What an ending. I received a free copy for my honest review.

Fantastic

What a fantastic end to the series. It’s everything I hoped it would be and so much more. Deja gets her happy ending with a few extras. You won’t be disappointed with the last book in this amazing series and just really sad to see it end but hopefully it won’t be the last we see of deja and her extended family.

Couldn't put them down!

What an amazing series. I just couldn't put it down. I am grateful I found it after all five had been published. It might have killed me to wait for the next book to have come out. I hope this won't be the end. I adore Nona and hope to see her get a happy ending. Plus those children!

This is a fantastic ending but am so sorry to see this series end. There is action, adventure and romance. But there is a war to see who will win there war. Love the surprise and also how she finally has her power. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Wonderful

This book is so amazing and sad at the same time because it has ended. The roller coast of emotions this made me go through. I don’t know whether or be sad or happy. But love it still!
