Miracle Baby #3

His Perfect Baby

I can’t get pregnant, but that won’t stop him from trying.

David Carlson is rich, handsome, and brilliant. He’s so far out of my league that it makes my head spin. And during our one and only night together, he does the impossible.

I’m not supposed to be able to get pregnant, but David makes it happen anyway.

I can’t tell him about our daughter. Especially not years later when I end up working for his company.

He comes to me with a business proposition, and it takes me totally off guard.

He’ll pay me two million dollars to be his surrogate, but he wants to get me pregnant the old fashioned way.

It won’t happen again, it’s just not possible, but I can’t walk away from this opportunity. I’m a single mom and I need the money.

Plus, night after night of passion with this man won’t be the worst thing in the world. I still dream about his body, even years later. I haven’t felt so good since.

I have David’s perfect baby already, but he can’t ever know about her. I’m terrified he’ll learn the truth and take my daughter away from me. He’s rich and powerful enough to make it happen.

One night of passion with David gave me a baby. Several months of passion might give me so much more than that, if only I can give myself over to him completely.

His Perfect Baby is an over-the-top miracle romance with tons of steamy scenes and bad language. It’s only recommended for readers 18+.

His Perfect Baby is a STANDALONE, full-length novel. No cliffhanger. Guaranteed HEA.

His Perfect Baby

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: ❤️💙💜💛
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌎🌏🌍🌎
Character development: 👤👤👤👤

The setting: David’s Company, Envoy.

The Hero(s): David Carlson - Billionaire owner of the company that made the first successful self driving car. He is hot and smart and very rich.

The heroine: Emma May - engineer who wants to work for Envoy, the company David owns. She finds out where he is going to be after attending a conference he spoke at. She specialized in philosophy and ethics and wants to add that to the coding of the cars so the cars can decide things like what to do if it is a choice between hitting something/someone on the road or potentially swerving and killing or injuring the occupants in the car.

The Love Story: David and Emma meet at a bar and have a one night stand. He says he will call her but it turns out they never exchanged numbers. Emma has a baby girl and a year later ends up working for David’s company.

This is another book with some glaring plot holes, chief of which is that Emma doesn’t tell David about his daughter and is telling herself it is because she doesn’t want Julie raised in a wealthy lifestyle where she is given everything and never has to work for anything. Yet Emma agrees to be a surrogate for David and give him the baby after she has it.

Not only is that doing to another child what Emma refused to do to Julie, but she is doing it for money so she can give Julie things she never had. Crazy and conflicting justifications there. However, despite those things, this was a scorching hot and fun book. David was funny and was terrific at talking dirty and doing other things pretty dirty as well and he also had some secrets. Ethical choices was a big undertone in this one.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

The FMC is writing an ethical code for on autonomous car, but she seems to have lost her own ethics in the process. She's doing all this for her daughter that she never sees or talks about until toward the very end. There is illegally obtained medical records, and DNA of a minor. That part is glossed over. I don't care how good the sex is girl. You went to school for ethics then whored yourself out to your baby daddy knowing you couldn't get pregnant again for money.
So they are pretty much only intimate at work...he is her boss...again she is there as the ethical voice of these cars.
Like girl have a backbone. Someone gets her private medical records and obtains the DNA of her daughter without her consent, but that's all fine cause she withheld the fact she couldn't get pregnant again in the first place. Nope...no...not okay to me. If you touch my child behind my back there would be no end to my furry. You would never be allowed anywhere near my child again.
These character deserve each other cause they both are fucked up and don't have a moral compass worth shit. But damn do I feel bad for that kid.

If you want to just read this for smut purposes, have fun. If you were looking for a story that makes any sense...you're out of luck.

His perfect baby

So this one was a little better than the last one I read. Secret baby and all. But again I didn't feel the deep chemistry that you usually feel with BB's stories. But I did like this one.

I stopped about 75%. So she has a daughter but when does she actually spend time with her daughter? The book is basically those two having sex and going out while their daughter is babysat.

This was a good read. Emma & David meet, hook up and now Emma has a daughter that doctors say she couldn’t have. Years later now Emma works for David’s company and their chemistry is still there and Emma has a secret that David didn’t see coming. Determined to get Emma back, David comes up with a plan to win her back. When secrets are exposed will there even be a chance of them ever being together. It was a great read and I did enjoy Emma & David as a couple.

I enjoyed reading His Perfect Baby, Emma and David had a one night stand. David tells Emma that he would call her but he never did. Emma thinks that David didn’t want to call but she didn’t know that he lost her number and that he has never forgotten her. Out of the one night stand, Emma ends up pregnant, two years later she bumps into David she doesn’t tell him that they have a daughter she’s afraid that if he finds out that he will take her daughter away. David sees a pictured a little girl on Emma’s desk he thinks to himself that could be his daughter l, David knows that he can’t come right out and ask her so. There so much more that goes on I couldn’t wait until the next chapter, it really is was an enjoyable read. 5 Star read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

 Miraculous Encounter

Emma is a bright and feisty young woman who knows what she wants and cares passionately about those she loves and cares for - as well being passionate about engineering and ethics in technology!  But she does have a secret - due to circumstances beyond her control, she has been informed by doctors that she cannot have children which she is devastated about.  She is what many would call a 'geek' but she is more than happy about that but her speciality is ethics in technology!  She goes to a conference where she meets the famous geek, wealthy, handsome, actually gorgeous, David Carlson CEO of the first firm to make driverless cars] and unbelievably they really hit it off both intellectually and with physical attraction too.  They spend a red hot passionate night together but Emma 'knows' that  he is way out of his league and leaves.  She never expects to hear from him [she forgets that she never gave him her number] and has to get on with her life - including the miraculous 'surprise' that happens.  Years later she applies for a job at his firm since she is now qualified and hopes that he won't have anything to do with the selection process [though she suspects he wouldn't even remember her]. But she does get the dream job and settles in quickly though she avoids David as she has one secret that he must never find out about!  I am a fan of BB. Hamels stories as I love her relaxed writing style, her wonderful and unique storylines. It was so easy to feel as if I almost 'knew' Emma and David as her descriptions are full of flavour so that 2D objects [written words] can become 3D objects that are animated and 'alive'. Their banter is witty and believable and when he does seek her out he makes her a proposition that will change their lives.  But what will he do if he discovers her secret??  Will they be able to have a second chance at a relationship?? Is the chemistry still there between them that was smoking hot??  I loved this story from page one to the very last.  There are some wonderful secondary characters such as Sven and Olivia that make this story come alive too!. This is a story that I will be re-reading in the future as it is so good.  I look forward in anticipation to her next romantic adventure! get a copy of this and enjoy!!!  I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Definitely recommended

This was quite an intriguing story and I enjoyed reading it immensely. Emma is an engineer and shares David’s passion for self-drive cars; all she wants is to work on his team, but the first time they meet things don’t go according to plan. It is not until 2-years later that Emma gets her dream job, but she has a secret she is trying to protect. David comes up with a plan to get closer to Emma, but will she ever admit the truth to him. When David’s plan backfires, it seems the two have been lying to one another. This is another exceptional read from the author and the additional twists and turns in the story adds to the overall enjoyment of it. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this book.

Emma’s only goal is to meet David and get on his team, but she is taking an unconventional route after attending his Conference on autonomous vehicles. At a local bar the two strike up a conversation and then have a one-night stand. Emma thought she had impressed David at the time, but she never hears from him again. Then in a one-in-a-million chance, Emma becomes pregnant; having worked hard to graduate from MIT, all it took was one night with David to completely change her life. 2-years later, Emma finally has her dream job at Envoy working for Sven, who reaches out to her with a job offer. When David is introduced to Emma as a new-starter, he notices a photograph on Emma’s desk; it is of a little girl who looks just like him. Emma didn’t want David to find out about his daughter; he is too famous and too rich and she didn’t want him to have anything to do with Julie. But David had come from a humble background and had once had his heart broken. It was after this that David started Envoy, but had no clue it would change his life, or that he would fall in love again with someone who shared his passion for self-drive cars. David wants Emma and he wants his daughter, but can he fully trust her and is Julie really his? To find out the truth, David decides to play a little game with Emma, but it backfires, leaving him alone yet again. David had created an elaborate way of getting close to Emma and in the process they both lied. Now it is time to start being honest with each other and be the family they were meant to be. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

Inventor and CEO David Carlson Goes To Battle With Emma May, The Woman He Suspects Had His Baby In Secret

New engineering grad Emma May's goal is to meet bachelor playboy David Carlson, inventor and CEO of Envoy (the first commercially available self-driving cars), because her dream job is with his company and it is nearly impossible to get hired without an inside connection. Attending a conference in which he is a featured speaker, she stands out to him in a mostly male room, so when he sees her at a bar later that night, he picks her up. They enjoy great conversation and a deep shared interest in the advances being made by Envoy, and the night ends with a one night stand. Emma never hears from David again, and when she finds out she is pregnant with the child she wasn't medically supposed to be capable of having, she decides to keep the pregnancy to herself rather than look like she was trying to trap David.

When Emma gets recruited to a job at Envoy two years later, things get interesting. Emma tries to keep her secret, but David immediately suspects the truth. Since neither is willing to address the truth directly, they end up caught in a game of their own making. The question is: who will win, and what will be the price of losing? David and Emma have great chemistry together, and they both know the stakes are high, so emotions run high as well.

Of the books I've read by this author, I thought this was one of the better ones. David and Emma felt like real people with real problems (even if they did take things a little to the extreme). I felt for their characters and enjoyed HEA.

Emotive – readers will laugh, cry, cringe, and celebrate this WONDERFUL, steamy Romance, and there are BABIES!
“HIS PERFECT BABY” is a second chance steamy romance that curled this reader’s toes. My reaction is not new or surprising since every time I read a novel by BB Hamel she amazes me with her ability to write characters that come alive on the pages and in my heart. Additionally, she writes a plot that seems so realistic in its proposal that readers feel like that proverbial “fly on the wall”. And finally, Hamel writes a prose that is so smooth and easy to read that readers can focus on the “movie in the mind” made while consuming her page-turners. Then when this reader/reviewer finishes one of Hamel’s novels, all I want to do is go back and read the novel again because I feel bereft. For any of those reasons, Hamel’s writing would get a five-star rating; however, in “HIS PERFECT BABY” the reader gets all that and BABIES! I cannot say anything more purposeful than READ THIS BOOK! It was wonderful, entertaining, and inspiring. Additionally, the story communicates to readers that medicine is more an art form than a science. “HIS PERFECT BABY” illustrates how the human body is a marvelous thing, often able to do the unexpected when required. While I was given an ARC of “HIS PERFECT BABY” to prepare this honest, voluntary review, I plan to purchase a copy of “HIS PERFECT BABY” to support one of my most favorite authors, B.B. Hamel. I STRONGLY recommend you purchase your copy of “HIS PERFECT BABY”, TODAY! You will be so glad you did! Happy pages. 😉

3. His Perfect Baby: Emma and David
3 Stars
I purchased a copy of the dark and steamy novel His Miracle Baby: A Miracle Baby Romance: Emma and David in the Miracle Baby Boxset by B.B. Hamel and this review was given freely.
A dark instant attraction and reunion story with a relationship built on lies.
Two years after Emma May’s one-night fling with her tech idol, billionaire autonomous car Envoy builder David, she lands her dream job at Envoy as its new ethics engineer, denies her daughter’s paternity, and enters into a surrogacy contract.
18+ recommended. A twisted story with extended gymnastic, intimate scenes, and a happy ending.
4. His Wonder Baby: Addie and Will
4 Stars
I purchased a copy of the dark and steamy novel His Wonder Baby: A Miracle Baby Romance: Addie and Will in the Miracle Baby Boxset by B.B. Hamel and this review was given freely.
Heavy with the themes of abuse and PTSD this is a poignant second chance at love story with a happy ending.
Separated by insecurity, lack of communication, and Will’s being recruited to the HKL in Russia, they are reunited when the injured Will returns home. Single mother Addie is both furious and strongly attracted to the man who used to be her best friend, her daughter’s father.
18+ recommended. A dark story with extended gymnastic, intimate scenes.

This book had some great moments int is is book. Emma really wants to meet David, as she shares the same passion. After years of study engineering Emma goes out of her way and plans a meet in a bar. David asked Emma a question about a product they are making and she gives him an honest answer. He is so impressed with her answer that he gets her to leave with him and they have a hot and steamy one night stand. During there steamy one night they don't use protection as she believes she can't have kids due to illness she had. Only the 1 in a million chances happen and she gets pregnant. Only she doesn't tell David. A few years later she ends up working at Envoy with David as her boss. When he visits her at her desk he sees a photo and something about that sparks something in him, it isn't until later that he realises that's his child. So he makes a plan to try and get Emma to open up to him, so they spend time together and things get interesting. What a great read and get storyline. It gets steamy and they both hide stuff from each other, trying to protect themselves only they hurt each other and themselves all at the same time. Great book, full of drama . Highly recommend

David and Emma met at a tech conference and had a one night stand. He promised he would call her, but didn't realize until he left that he didn't have her number. Years later, she is working for his company and still wants her. But she has a secret and when he finds out what it is, she is worried that he will take her daughter away.
After seeing a picture on her desk, he believes that her daughter is also his. He can't come out and ask, so he draws up a contract. He wants a child and he wants her to be the mom. Only, he is keeping two secrets and she is keeping one.
When the truth comes out, can either one forgive the other? Is what they were building strong enough to overcome the failure they set into motion? What happens when what you think you want turns out to completely different from what makes you happiest?
There was definitely a lot of sexy scenes. I liked how Ms. Hamel had David stop doing something one he realized his feelings were changing. I also liked that Emma was a strong woman, but showed some vulnerability. I didn't like that she ended up being a hypocrite for a little while and that we didn't get a chance to see him building a relationship with his daughter.

I recieved an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

So the main thing I liked about this book was that Emma was in the STEM field, but the book didn't continually make a big deal about her being a female in a typically male dominated field. It just flowed naturally and was built well into the story.
I also really liked the whole ethical debate about the cars, especially given it falls in line with current events. It was very interesting to see Emma's reasoning and thought process behind who controls the cars.

Downsides: 1. Emma getting mad at David when she finds out what he did was very hypocritical and kind of annoyed me.
2. Realistically, her and David's relationship probably went against every company policy ever written lol.
3. Apart from like 1 other job that is mentioned, it doesn't seem like Emma has a lot of experience outside of her university degrees, so i found it unlikely that she'd be promoted to the roles she has so quickly.
However, that is the beauty of writing, where you can literally build your own world and those things don't matter or don't need to fall in line with how it is in the real world.

Overall, a fresh plot line and quite an interesting work topic to be based on.

This is a story about Emma and David. Emma is a college student and one a the few woman in her field. While at a seminar she has a chance encounter with David who is multimillionaire that is very tech savvy along with being a geek just like her and she would love to work for his company one day. They meet at a bar and have a great night together. The next morning he promises to call and Emma never hears from him. Against all odds Emma ends up pregnant and never tells David and does everything on her own with help from her parents. Two years later she gets recruited to work for his company and David does not find out until after she has started. He goes to speak with her and out the corner of his eyes he sees a picture of a little girl. It bothers him until some time later her realizes that the little girl looks like him and it’s his daughter! What theses two do by avoiding just having a conversation takes them on a rollercoaster of pain, hurt, love and really good sex. Can they take the time to listen to one another or will the hurt they each have done keep them apart? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

His Perfect Baby was not your typical surprise baby makes three romance.
The strange techno protagonists David and Emma are quite different in their approach to going after what they want.
The coding couple is a mass of denial, secrets, lust, love, confusion, and passion for their craft.
Scheming for the greater good, the plan these two sign off on takes a turn- who will be the one to share their secret first to save the blooming love the have?
Uniquely written, the fast-paced storyline comes with a dually controlled coder not good in the love department P.O.V.
Intriguing, it had me thinking, curious to see where the plot twists would come in and how the two would work through the jumbled mess they have created! While I did struggle a bit in the begging with trying to grasp the idea of it all, I am glad that I kept reading this sexy, heart inflating read through to the very end!

Love and lies

This book didn't quite go the way I thought it would but overall it wasn't a bad read. I did enjoy David and Emma, even though I briefly became annoyed with Emma for being a hypocrite. Emma and David have a one night stand and a baby is the product. A couple of years later, they cross paths again when Emma is hired by David's company. She has a picture of her little girl on her desk that David sees. Something about Julie really bothers him and he figures it out, he puts a plan into motion. Emma agrees to his proposal, knowing it will never come to fruition. They start a relationship, which is filled with deceit. When Emma discovers the truth, she is filled with rage, which makes her a hypocrite. The ending wasn't bad but it kind of had me wondering about certain things regarding what type of relationship did they finally ended up having. I would give this book 2.5 stars overall.

David Carlson, billionaire, tech guru and CEO of Envoy, the world’s first driverless car manufacturer, has always had people telling him what he wants to hear so when he asks a young MIT graduate about how to improve their product he’s extremely surprised by Emma May’s response, she’s open and honest and intelligent, pretty soon David is inviting her to his hotel room, and after a night of passion David leaves and she doesn’t hear from him... but that’s not all David left.

Two years later Emma lands a job at Envoy and when David remembers who she is he seeks her out and becomes aquatinted with her again, but he sees her secret and knows her child may be his, but can he have the family he wants with this woman? Will she stay if she knows he knows her child is his?

Sweet accidental miracle baby story. Short, but decent

Emma May has been told she can't get pregnant but that doesn't stop the impossible from happening. Fast forward two years later, Emma takes a job at Envoy to work with David Carlson, her daughter's father. Emma knows it's a risk but moves forward anyway. David remembers meeting Emma he notices a picture of Emma's daughter but can't seem to shake the familiarity it brings him. David comes up with a plan to seduce Emma. Will Emma agree to David's plan? What's Emma hiding? Your answers await you in His Perfect Baby.

This was such a sweet story. The characters were rich, real, complex, complicated, flawed, bold, and unique. This new series is certainly a winner in my reading books.

There are secrets and lies, fun banter and some cool tech to geek out for. Not to mention some aerious passion and heat between these two. Definitely one to read! A secret baby romance about Emma, an engineer with an interest in ethics, and David, who never got the one night stand with Emma out of his head. Working in wealthy David's prestigious company puts her in David's path again. They negotiate a contract, with both hiding some pretty major disclosures from the other. This was a fun, sexy read with a couple of laugh out loud moments for me. I liked the characters, including the crazy Sven and seemingly grumpy Olivia. Solid piece of writing with a different storyline, fun plot, great characters (who have even better sex!).

CEO of Envoy David Carlson seems to have it all. Rich, famous , successful in business except for one thing....a child. He can choose any woman he wants but meeting engineer Emma May will change his life forever. One night, that’s all it took and they go their separate ways. Problem is, Emma is pregnant. Not knowing, David hires Emma and now the fun begins. Although Emma has this big secret, David has secrets of his own. A great story of self driving cars, secret baby, secret contracts, emotions, drama and so much more. A brilliant story, loved it

Emma and David's story puts me in a dilemma.

On the one hand side I find the plot intriguing and innovative… working on autonomous vehicles… improving them ethically…

On the other side the characters feel not very authentic to me. They seem to be unreliable in their trains of thought and behaviour and too often they upset their decisions…

And sometimes there are too many inconsistencies in the plot, too.

It's not a bad story, but by no means a really good one.

I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.

I absolutely loved this book. The only thing I would have liked to seen was before the epilogue that told a bit in the future they got another miracle. I was disappointed in that part. otherwise I think this book is utterly fantastic. quirky, hot sex scenes, well defined characters and story line, well thought out responses to situations, some intrigue. the lack of communication and way the main characters go around in circles with each other keeps you guessing how things will end.
absolutely highly recommend reading this book.
