Carmel Rhodes what are you doing to me?!? I read this book in less than a day. I couldn't put it down! Right from the start I knew I would love this book because that initial connection between the two MC's was undeniable.
Our heroine cheats on her boyfriend with a fun up-and-coming rockstar. But listen, I felt their connection right away. You know how there's just something special about how characters interact? That was our hero and heroine.
Once you start learning more about these two you'll become more invested in their happiness. But not everything if as it seems and this duos love story becomes so much more.
I liked book 1 in this series, but I absolutely loved book 2!!
I legit took a whole star off for her use it the teeth Eskimo sister near the end of the book, otherwise I would have ranked this 5 stars.

Woah Carmel Rhodes this book is banging!
We had Jamie & Ryder's story in Lithium Waves now it's time for Jamie's best friend Kensie and Ryder's bandmate CT to have their fun and boy hang on tight to that life raft the tides are gonna be unpredictable and so sinfully hot.

Kensie's a good girl, but being bad girl is so fucking good. She never thought one-night with the hot drummer could make her second guess her whole life. She has Mr Security blanket, yeah he can give her anything that she may need in life, keep her bed warm but boring as hell. Or she can have Mr Unpredictable, fly by the seat of his pants, can bang the shit out of a drum kit and her.
CT isn't just the drummer of Lithium he keeps a few facts hidden from the public. When he meets the sexy little firecracker that thinks he's a complete jerk off. He's a man on a mission when there's something or someone he wants, he plays dirty. He never thought his little game would drag him through the tides but Kensie definitely leaves her marks firmly etched on his heart.
But lies have gotten out of control and will the hurt be to deep to mend?
Will Kensie go for the Stepford Wife life, with the normal plain life plan? Or will she dive in and go for CT that has banged his way into her heart and blown her O's out of the ocean?
I can't wait to see what the third bandmate Javi's gonna get up to in Lithium Oasis

What can I say about Tides:
Well, I could say a lot but I'll sum it up to - this is a story that sticks with you.
Not only is it hot, sinful ;), but it also kicks you right in all the feels. I don't want to give much away, but Kenise's story and the journey she takes shows her amazing growth. Not all of her choices were smart, but in RL who's really are. She's fighting between wrong and right. Trying to find her happiness, but at the same time thinking settling will keep her sane, but through everything and all the ups and downs and twists and turns, lead her to where she needed to go. Now let's not forget about #fuckface! CT is a huge part of this messed up, rocky (tattooed) road. But also you have CT's journey and discovery- as I said I don't want to give any of it away. But know it'll blow your mind and make you cry, yell, scream.,,.. curse, but then make you go-- yeah...
Anyways, the boy gets his hit in the head and it wasn't with his drumsticks, but the stick of love. :p He just needed to figure it out.

But also like I said in the beginning this story is HOT! Carmel will sent you on fire- over and over and over again.
I can't wait till the Oasis and reading Javi's journey and if you haven't read Waves about Ryder and Jamie.. do it!! you'll love it... trust me!

The book that launched a revolution. #LITHIUMSPRINGS
CT and Kensie’s story is one of the greats. That story that you’re still thinking about days after you’ve finished reading. That couple that you’re dying for more of. A sequel, another epilogue, hell even glimpses of their life in another book. They are hot, they are explosive but most importantly they’re REAL. I love the rawness of this story so much. I laughed out loud, I cried, I smiled at the cute moments that left me swooning. And of course the sex was hotter than hell. (Not that i expect anything less from this author.) I have such a book hangover! Oh and I LOVED the glimpses of Jamie and Ryder! Lithium Fever is so real, and I still have it. I probably always will.

Neverland....
Glad I am sticking with this series. The characters are very interesting and misunderstood. What happens when a relationship starts out for all the wrong reasons?? Secrets and revelations are revealed. And a forever kind of love found. Had some really hot sex scenes, flowing storyine, and a sexy doc band. Loved the song Neverland that CT wrote for Kensington. Really enjoyed that this had more to do with the band aspect. Can't wait for Javi's book and hopefully Quinn.

So, after reading the first book in the Lithium series my expectations for this one book were sky high I mean obviously…. And then I read Tides and …
I ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS BOOK.
I already know that this review is going to be all over the place (like me 😉) but I seriously don’t know where to begin. So far, I have already read this book 6 times and still can’t put it down 🤩
One of the first thing that attracted me were the Names. I always felt Kensington was such a cool name but sadly it is always associated with spoiled brats or whiny teenagers with a bad attitude which is not cool at all but Carmel has beautifully portrayed her heroine as a perfect Princess that Kensington Grace Roth is. Carter, again another favorite name of mine and I think it suits CT’s Dark and Brooding personality so well, so totally nailed the names 👌
Kensie is a Princess, plain and simple PRINCESS. She is the Perfect daughter, the Coolest BFF and the most Forgiving lover. She grew up dreaming of Fairy tales and Prince Charming until it all came crashing down after a night of wild passion with CT. And now she is torn between following her heart and abandoning her dreams of Marriage and White picket fence OR listening to her brain and ignore the feelings of Lust and Passion that CT ignites in her. She let everyone she loves walk over her until she is broken and doesn’t remember who she really is. I see so much of myself in her like so many things she does/did I can totally attest to doing them and that made me love her even more.
CT…. where do I even begin? He is a fuckface but I still love him. He is Mysterious and Tortured soul but he also helps Kensie find happiness by pushing her towards the things she loves only his intentions were Never noble. He made Kensie a ploy to get revenge on someone from his past not realizing how dangerous his game was until he lost his own heart and broke Kensie’s in the process.
There is one dialogue that Kensie says and I feel it accurately sums up all the feelings I have for CT perfectly:
“CT, I’m experiencing about a million different emotions all at once. This is so overwhelming. I want you to go. I want you to stay. I want you to fuck me into the middle of next week. I want you to beg for forgiveness. I want you to move on. I want you to love me, forever. I just haven’t decided what I need.”
Every person in the story has a purpose and, in some way or other added to the plot. Not for one second, I felt that anything was unnecessary or over-done. Every single word is GOLD.
Another thing that I loved about this book was the writing style. Carmel has kept the style so simple and honest yet totally captivating. She doesn’t throw in big mouth-twisting words and phrases or exaggerate things. Everything is so simple and that is what it makes it so much more interesting.
Even in the story she doesn’t talk about big fancy stuff like 5star restaurants or Helicopter rides, and don’t get me wrong, I do love reading about those but how many of us can really relate to that. But Instagram, Pokemon GO …. Hell Yes. Small things like this make a book more realistic and to me so much more Relatable.
Long story short this is without a doubt one of my best reads of all times and I’m going to read the shit of out this book until the pages fall out 😜

I am speechless. I wasn’t too excited when I started this book. It seemed like it would be like most books I’ve read lately. the blurbs sound fantastic but the book falls short. Lithium Tides didn’t fall short by any means. It soared over every expectation I had.
CT (Carter) is the nice guy disguised as a bad boy. He’s hot, he’s a rock star (almost), and he knows and goes after what he wants. He helps Kenzie get out of her rut of a job she hates and try for something she loves. Kensington (Kenzie) is labeled a princess but she is anything but. She’s down to earth, and good, and definitely not Stepford wife material. She comes into herself as the story progresses and I love it.
I love Carter and Kenzie together and apart. They both mess up, and mess up BIG, but I love how they take the time to get it right. There are definitely twists, what?! moments, and drama but it also makes it unique.
I love so much about this book, but my favorite line comes from when she’s talking to her parents about how she loves hard and her dad asks why she can’t love herself as hard as she loves others. Cue the tears. Most relatable line I’ve read in any book.
This was the first book I’ve read by Carmel Rhodes but I can say without a shadow of doubt, it will not be the last. The writing was fantastic, the story flowed, and I was hooked around chapter 3. If you read the first novel in this series you kind of expect crazy things to happen. I loved that novel however this one blows it totally out of the park. It smashed it. This novel is soooo much better. I had a hard time putting it down. It literally engrossed me from the first chapter.
Kensington aka Kensie we meet as a kind of stand offish roommate. She discovers herself in these pages. It's not a smooth road but of trial and error. CT blows up everything she every thought she could want. They are like magnets. The chapters fly by but the tornado is still coming.
I feel like my heart was just ripped out of my chest and crushed halfway through. The corruption and plot was completely unexpected! My heart broke for Kensington over and over again. I know she is the cheater. I know she done horrible things but that was just.... I have no words.
This is the epitome of the perfect rocker romance, not only because of the lies and decite but because of how much heart break lies in the pages. It's very well written and I can't wait to see what comes next for these characters....

I loved Jam and Ryder’s story and I just KNEW I’d fall in love with Kensie and CT’s. But I can’t lie, I’m just a tad obsessed with CT🔥😉
Kensie was so used to living the life of a princess. But who knew that being a bad girl would turn out so fun?! Jam took her down the rabbit hole and I’m like... please take me, too! 😉
The connection between the Kensie and CT was totally undeniable and HOT! 😍😍 I loved their journey, their love story. The twists and turns. The growth and struggles. ALL of it!
It wasn’t easy, but it’s theirs! ❤️
Lithium Springs made me smile, laugh, cry, go OMG, and lastly... turn my fan on because of the HEAT in this book. 🔥👏🏻

I was given an arc for an honest review..
When I read lithium waves (book1) I loved it and wanted more from the rest of the band... I'm so glad I got this book and I loved it even more than book. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would!
This book is told from the point of view of Kensley and it's hers and CT's (lithiums drummer) story.
I don't want to go into detail about the plot as it's got some twists I wouldn't want to spoil.. But it's sexy, sweet, angst and I loved the entire journey. and if you enjoyed book your sure to love this one too
I love CT as a character. I think he's my fav band member.. With a tortured past, bad boy image, tattoos and pouring with sexy charism.. Yummy!! But he's got the right mix of sexy and sweet and with Kensley he's perfection!
I loved getting more of the band and this book delivers on the sexiness too!

Not for me. Unnecessary drama and stupid heroine. She cheated with the hero, a guy from a band (Lithium something) but she kept her boyfriend.she fell in love with the hero but she continued to date said boyfriend 🙄 she kissed her boyfriend in front of the hero but got upset when the hero fucked up and she put the blame entirely on him. Slow paced,not interesting enough

CT and Kensie are the epitome of sex is easy but relationships are hard. I loved their journey through each other's mistakes and how they worked to get back together. They knew they had something special and were not going to give up without a fight. It was also great to get a peek at Jamie and Ryder's relationship.
Carmel's writing pulls at all of your emotions. I found myself smiling because of sweet happy moments, laughing out loud and also crying my eyes out. Let's not forget the steamy sex scenes. So hot!

Omg.......Carmel Rhodes has did it again. she has wrote another amazing novel. Tides will have you, laughing,crying, angry, and maybe a little hot. loved meeting Kensie the lost princess and ct the asshole,sexy drummer. this book is one hell of a roller coaster ride. i couldn't put it down.

WOW! I love this book. This is the first book I have read by this author. I will be going back to read the first book in this series soon. I wasn’t able to put it down. I love CT and Kensie. The chemistry between them was hot! This is one of those books that will stick with you long after you finish reading. I can’t wait for the next book in this series! I am OBSESSED with these rockers. Lithium Tides is book two in Carmel’s Lithium Springs series, and if you saw my post on Lithium Waves last week you already know how much I loved the first book, well I think I might love this book even more!
I swear every single time I read one of Carmel’s books I’m transformed into some sort of crazy person who talks to themselves and yells out random exclamations of shock, and honestly I’m ok with that 🤷🏽♀️😂
Kensie and CT have a really unconventional love story, it’s extremely messy, it starts messy and it mostly stays messy. Their story is full of mistakes and lack of trust, and at times I found myself wondering how they were going to make it through all the mess. I was just waiting for things to blow up, but I also couldn’t help but root for them. One of my favorite parts of this book was Kensie, she really went through a whole journey of self discovery. Bad choices, good choices, but ultimately choices that lead her to figuring out what she truly wanted! And I can’t forget about CT, you don’t expect to fall for him but trust me you will. I don’t want to give too much away but, as always Carmel takes us on a wild emotional rollercoaster ride, and I loved every single minute of it!

Emotionally charged and twisty, Lithium Tides is a must read!
So I missed out on book 1 but I plan on fixing that. I will be watching Carmel Rhodes and probably add her to my one-click list right quick. I loved this story. If I had started reading it at the right time of day, I would have read it in one sitting.
I love a good taboo read and I think that is how this one will be categorized just because Kensie is already in a relationship when her heart finds CT. I think my favorite thing about this story was the emotional war that was playing out for her. Not only that but the sense that CT is really taken with her and is super possessive of her. Fate brought them together and now it is up to them to figure out what to do about it. And then it twists a bit.
The secondary characters were equally intriguing. Ryder and Jamie seemed to be playing out their own story line simultaneously...which is why I now need to go back and read book one. Carmel Rhodes created a story that grabs you in Lithium Tides so I can only imagine that book one is equally grabby! As far as I can tell one more story is planned for this series...but the sympathetic part in my wishes that maybe Trey could get a happy ending too. Maybe a standalone spinoff?
All in all, this is one of my top reads of the week. I was emotionally invested from chapter one, not once was I bored reading...no skimming...the sex was pretty hot and of course I love my HEA's!
I am giving Lithium Tides 5 stars!

Whew, CT and Kensie (Kensington) are hot!
Kensie is forever the good girl who has a great life with a Prince Charming boyfriend. What happens when she meets a bad boy who entices her into doing bad things with him? Will she choose a life with the boring security blanket who can give her anything she wants? Or the tattooed hottie who just may be the love of her life if she can get past a big betrayal?
Although I haven't read the first book in this series, Lithium Waves: A Lithium Springs Novel, I was able to easily pick up on what was going on in Lithium Tides. CT and Kensie are easy to fall in love with, even when secrets are revealed and she gets hurt. I felt for her, damn did I, but I loved how CT took it upon himself to fix things and how Kensie realized that sometimes the fairy tale isn't the way life is gonna happen.
Lithium Tides is such a great story. It's really sexy, it's seamlessly paced and the characters are all interesting and likable. Now I'm off to read Jamie and Ryder's story!

This was a really good story! I don't usually read much of the "rock star" romances, but I really liked this one. It was full of angst and guilt and betrayal of more than one kind. It really had all the feels!
CT was your typical bad boy, sexy, tattooed rocker, a real love 'em and leave 'em guy. Kensie was a real princess though, who grew up with every advantage, and thought she had already found her Prince Charming. She goes out with her best friend, Jamie, one night though, to see the band that Jam's boyfriend plays in. While there, she meets CT, and one thing leads to another, and next thing she knows, she's waking up in his arms. There's so much going on in this story, so many emotions, and not just with Kensie and her love life. She has to decide what she wants out of life, what kind of person she wants to be, and who she's meant to be with. Not to mention dealing with the repercussions of her night out.
I really enjoyed the book and will be reading more from this author!

What can I say about this book? First let me tell you this is by far my favorite of the Lithium Springs series. CT and Kensi story is a mixture of Love, Hate, Hot Sex and a disaster all in one! I was one of the lucky ones to get an ARC and as I started reading the book, I started slowing my reading because I didn't want it to end. I want to continue to read this book, their story for the rest of my life! I just finished it for the second time since I got the book and already looking to start it again. Carmel Rhodes is a wonderful writer and the way she portrays CT and Kensi is... I can't even put into words. I love CT (#TeamFuckface) I can relate to their feelings, it seems so real. I could read their story forever and never get enough! This story sticks with you and you never want to let it go. I don't want to give any spoilers away but everyone needs to run out and get this book when it comes out, you will not be disappointed!

I PREFER THE DRUMMER...
Carter Thayer aka CT loves keeping things wet in Lithium Tides. Sex and rock and roll are stereotypical connected and when done correctly, it's a beautiful story. LITHIUM TIDES is a beautiful story.
Banging the girl next door instead of the normal groupies is why we love reading the trope. This rock star romance by a "new to me" author is not my last. The writing was exceptional. The angst was true to the mystery of a rocker's lifestyle. I loved the angst and I loved the unexpected twists. It's not your average love triangle. I call dibs on the drummer.

I loved, loved, loved Lithium Tides. This book totally blow me away, I just couldn't put it down but on the other hand I didn't want it to finish. Its a wonderfully written, emotional, and sexy read from Carmel Rhodes.
Lithium Tides is Kensington and Carter's story.

Carmel Rhodes is a new to me author and I’ll admit that blurb sucked me in lol. Once I started reading I was pleasantly surprised. This story is about CT and Kensington and it is about as real to life as it gets. These two together are combustible. They both make huge mistakes that they both try to overcome. Pasts catch up with them and secrets come out, but through it all they forge ahead. The writing was good and the story flowed well, and both characters did some major growing in my eyes. I will definitely be going back and reading book one in the series.

A New Favorite
I tend to gravitate to Authors that are balls to the wall, no apologies, writing a story their way. Now you might think that's a given, unfortunately I find that untrue because not everyone can pull it off. Ms Rhodes can and does with her Lithium Springs Series. I loved book one Lithium Waves and Tides seamlessly transitioned into another 5 Star read. A no holds barred sexy romp where the the good girl meets the bad boy and life as they both know it will never be the same. If you like imperfect characters, sizzling sex, and a hero that just might become a sainted devil, look no further. Giving CT's POV at the end....Bonus stars *****

So I went back and forth on this one. The are elements of this story that I didn’t like but I still liked the story. I explained it to B, telling her why she wouldn’t like it, and as I was explaining it we both agreed it seemed like a whack story. I was about 50%. When I started reading it again, I realized I may have done it an injustice because I really liked CT and Kensie. What I thought would happen, happened but done well. What I didn’t see coming, I probably should have. All in all, I’m sticking with the band and diving into Javi and Quinn’s story next....

CT and Kensie are two imperfect people in an imperfect relationship. When it all falls down around them they have to fight for themselves and ultimately each other. Tides captures the emotion of their coming of age beautifully. A wonderful mix of love and lust, smut and rock n roll, devastation, growth and self discovery. A brilliant read, highly recommend.

OMG this story was amazing. Kensie has her fairytale romance or at least what looks good on paper. Trey is sexy, nice and can provide but he wants a suszie home maker even he doesn't stand in Kensie way, but there is something missing, her trueself and one night with CT and she's not so sure what she wants but she knows it's wrong but it feels so right.

Lithium Tides is a beautifully written love story and a journey of finding true happiness. I love the chemistry between CT and Kensie. This story takes you on great highs and lows and pulls at the heart strings.
