Chance “Brass” Marks thought he found what he was looking for; he even changed for just one chance at keeping it. When he realized that wasn’t enough, he gave up. Nothing was worth giving up who you are, not even quality.
Jada Hale lived her life in her older sister’s shadow. Not her shadow so much as within the chaos Mazie constantly created and dragged Jada into kicking and screaming. She thought she had found a way out, but she should have known better. Jada learned early that love, trust, and promises were just words. Words that could be turned on you in a heartbeat, Jada learned that lesson the hard way.
Stuck in a situation neither of them wanted can these two people cut through all the crap others have inflicted in their lives and finally get to the good. Or are they too jaded to even try?
I'm a huge sucker for the joker of the series, and Brass was that joker in the Ruthless Bastards MC series. I have anticipated his book since Whiskey when he first talks about finding quality p over regular snatch. LMAO! As the series went on he stood out through the series preaching about quality over quantity to his brothers. Now, book 6, Brass gets a surprise twist I was not expecting. Chelsea Hancock definitely has exceeded my expectations when it came to Brass' book, making the wait for his HEA so worth it. Even though I was surprised by the way this book turned out, I wasn't surprised in the least by the unputdownable, page turning, and getting very addicted by yet another book by Chelsea.
Chance “Brass” Marks... that man is not only hot but charming, witty, and a complete ass. His brightness gets dimmed in this book by his broken heart and broken trust with women. Or should I say one certain woman. The last thing he wants is to think about his feeling when the whole RBMC is dealing with more important problems like finding their Pres Tuck. But his distraction comes from somewhere totally unexpected. Already jaded, he doesn't need the feelings Jada makes him feel.
Jada has been to hell in back because of the trouble her sister has caused her. The last thing she needs is the hot and cold treatment from the hot biker. Plus she ain't no pushover! Right from the start you can't help fall in love with this heroine and the love she has for her niece. Give a hot woman a gun and I'm sold!
Both of them have been hurt, but they can't seem to fight the pull they have for one another. How much damage can Brass cause before he takes his own advice about keeping quality, especially when it's right in front of him?
I have absolutely loved this whole series and enjoyed the ride with each one of these RBMC men. Brass and Jada's story is my new favorite! Another great book by Chelsea with an amazing ending that I absolutely loved! Brass and Jada might have their HEA, but the story isn't over. I need to know what's going on with Tuck soon!
This series...............I just don't know how to describe it properly without giving things away. This is one of the best books of the series so far. Each book just keeps building on the others and the whole series just rocks. Brass and Jada find each other but will all the things from their past get in the way of their HEA? There are twists and turns, there's drama, there's moments when you think you know what's going to happen and then BAM, it goes a different direction! This series just keeps getting better with each book and I can't wait to read the next one!
This series, oh man, what I wouldn't give to be able to start all over from the first book and get to enjoy them again. Not a reread cause I already do that!! I mean the enjoyment of discovering a wonderful new series with characters I love, some I detest, some need a thorough butt kicking but all are so compelling. But Brass, I hate to say it but he may be close to my favorite, hard to beat a couple others, not gonna name em, read it and see!! He is everything Jada needed in her life but will the danger they all still face and Brass' past be enough to keep them apart??? I fell in love with Maddie and think some big bad bikers are gonna be putty in her hands.
My only complaint about this one is I still have to wait for Tuck!! I mean come on, I really need more. So just have to say I would recommend this series, this book or any of them to whoever I can convince to give em a try, but just for optimum enjoyment, you gotta know what quality is man, read them all, even if you have to read this and then go to book one!
Brass is the sixth book in the RBMC Series by Ms. Handcock, and while it could probably stand alone, I highly suggest reading the previous books to fully understand everything! Brass is on a mission trying to uncover information about their missing president. What he doesn’t expect to find is Jada, guardian of his president’s daughter, and Maddie. While he butts heads with Jada initially, he craves her, but he’s also been scorned by love, or the illusion of, in the past. Can Brass keep Jada and Maddie safe while he falls for Jada, or will the ever present danger find them?
Oh my goodness, this book was raw and deep and emotional in the best of ways! Brass will have you wanting to slap him one minute and then laugh and love him the next! I loved how hurt he was by his ex, how much he really wanted the real relationship, and how that effected how he handled things with Jada. And Jada, wow, she’s one tough cookie, dealing with the crap life handed her, and turning it into gold. She might not have been Maddie’s birth mom, but dang, she was pure Momma Bear any time Maddie was threatened! While a lot happened in this book, I almost feel like it wasn’t fully finished, but that’s one reason why I love reading Ms. Handcock’s books, because she keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat and constantly wanting, no, needing more! This was definitely a great addition to the series and would highly recommend these books!
Brass is a great read. I couldn't quit reading until I was at the end. Brass and Jada have a great chemistry even if they hate each other at times. Devotion, loyalty, and acceptance are words that come to my mind about Brass. Can't wait for Tuck's book. Great job.
Brass is absolutely amazing. It is the sixth book in the RBMC series. So, make sure to read them in order. In this book you meet Brass and Jada. Brass believes that he isnt loveable. Until he meets Jada and Tanks daughter, but thats a story for a different day
Oh Brass his sarcastic butt makes me want to knock him out, laugh at him and fall in love with him. I'm so glad he got rid of Suzie because I wanted to kick her butt. I loved how Jada let Suzie have it and and I loved that Brass heard every word of it. Between that and Jinx it was an amazing turning point for them. Jada is his perfect match and I can't wait to see what happens next.
Brass is in the RMBC and this book picks up where the others left, it could be read as a standalone but it is much better as part of the series.
Brass finds himself in a situation where he finds "Quality" (you will have to read the others to truly understand what this means) and he is so torn up over it that he gets rough and almost mean, but Jada and Maddie have gotten to his heart and soul. He will never be the same.
And his MC leader is gone. They are all trying to find him. The MC is in trouble and they all have to band together to fight this fight.
These books just keep getting better, Brass is a great character.
We all have roles to play and Brass has taken on the role of the jokester, but it's not all he is as we find out in this story. Jada loves her niece and will do anything to protect her, include kill. When these two collide how will things work out. I loved this story and the way it played out. Can't wait for the next one as we had no resolution to what the club is trying to get back.
Brass is the joker of the MC. He also tried to change who he was to have what his brothers had, someone of their own. Jadahas raised her niece since she was an infant and woyld do anything to keep her safe. When things start to look much worse and the club stilllooking for their president Brass is detetmined to keep his girls safe.
Wow wow wow, author Chelsea Handcock you truly are an amazing author! Boy was I on the edge of my seat with this one, you have secrets coming out, you don't know who to trust, I didn't know who would make it but you had me fooled. These bikers knows when it comes to family and brothers, there's nothing they won't so for each other, phenomenal job Author Chelsea Handcock.
From the moment I met Brass, I knew he was something special. While his brothers thought he was slipping up and even him, he knew to follow his gut feeling. With a five year old in danger because of cartels and other one percenters, he recognized the need to help the child and her aunt. Every moment is a test and one must read to find out the tests that they pass.
I'm hot on the trails of this author she's new in my book but I will be following her because I love her storytelling and anybody that knows me knows I love a good MC romance
Another great book in the series. Brass has been thru a lot of when then he thought he found the one in Suzie, but she ruined him be not accepting who he is. Enters Jada - the quality woman he has been looking for! I recommend this book.
I've been dying for Brass to see that Suzy didn't really want him. I really never liked her and just thought she wasn't a good fit, a bit too uppity. Jada sure let her know it was time for to get moving and I'm glad how it all worked out.
These books just keep getting better and ya keep making it hard for me to choose a book wife! Lol I love this series and this book is one of my favorites. Love it!
Now that's what I'm talkin bout!!! THIS SERIES JUST KEEPS GETTIN BETTER!!!! Would like a little more biker vengeance though. Like what happened to Boone the traitor?
