This is exactly what it says it is, a journal in which to record 100 books one reads aloud as a family. It is perhaps easy to dismiss because it is simple in design. And yes, one could have DIY-ed it, but it is no small thing to have readymade, and on hand, a place where one can go back and recall the books read, basic info about what each was about in basic terms, favourite characters, and how much the book was or was not enjoyed. It effectiveness is both in its regular use, and in the habit it creates for family members, especially the young, to not just create a reading habit but to develop a simple means of evaluating what one reads.

Exactly what it says! I love having a place to keep track of all our read alouds and the kids' reactions and reviews of each book. It's the perfect keepsake!!
