I did not read every chapter of this GE textbook in my last semester just to skip out on giving myself credit on Goodreads.

I read this textbook cover to cover last fall and decided I want to remember it. I actually really enjoyed it! The world of science is so fascinating. The precise order, connectedness, and amazing beauty of our world and universe, from Supernovas and Nebulae, down to atoms and quarks, testifies of the divine to me. I stand in awe.

“The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.”
- Albert Einstein

“The most beautiful emotion we have is the mystical. It is the power of all true art and science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead.”
- also Albert Einstein
