Alright let's get this out of the way: you're reading this novella to figure out where the goo went. Nobody expects or wants a masterwork of literature out of this. It's a silly little story about goo and astronauts that you can buy for the price of a pack of gum.

But it's a very good and very funny story! There is genuine warmth and heart in this, and it kept a smile on my face for it's entire duration. The characters are quite likable and written with an incredible sense of humor.

Jason Steele, both on the page and in his videos, has an incredible knack for presenting an over-the-top and ridiculous world full of boisterous jokes that are directly in your face yet also layered with countless quietly funny jokes constructed from a layer cake of surreal absurdism.

Wholeheartedly reccomend this, it's a good (short) time.

Extremely short, but also extremely funny in a simultaneously dry and absurd way. I remember the first time I read this, I enjoyed it, but thought that the more "sincere" moments felt a little ham-fisted relative to the humor. I still felt that way this time around, but less so; they make up so little of the story that that there's no need to focus on them, they pass quickly.

Difficult to rate something like this because there's so little depth, but just about every page was genuinely funny, so this book is a success as far as I'm concerned.

Drôle, absurde, très h2g2 (l'improbabilty drive est clairement très repris à sa manière dans cette nouvellette, d'autres éléments aussi), plein d'action, de situation comique, c'est weird à sa manière, ça va vite aussi et on revoit bien l'humour des capsules vidéo de FilmCow. Peut-être un peu moins bien écrit que sa dernière nouvellette par exemple (qui n'était pas un exemple à ce niveau non plus).

Another great novelette by Jason Steele. If you like weird and wacky sci-fi this is a fun story for anyone. Reminded me a bit of Alan Dean Foster's sillier novels.

This is second book from Jason Steele I have read. I have enjoyed it, but I did not liked it as much as the first one, and the ending felt anticlimactic.
