The writing isn't profoundly elegant, but it is an enjoyable read. The bread and butter, however, is in the epilogue where Amundson outlines his suggestions for a meditation practice. Western Christianity often shies away from eastern practices. This is highly unfortunate as I think there is much that is valuable which we have forgotten. All in all, Iwould definitely recommend this book, especially to anyone who is new or struggling in their faith, which I believe is his target audience.

Amazing.

This book has given me a completely different outlook on my day to day behavior. I read this at the right time in my life. I came from a dark place thinking there was little to no hope in my life, yet after completing this book, I feel hopeful. Thank you!

Simple and profound

What a great little book! It combines a lot of spiritual and practical wisdom into a easy to follow fable. Lots of great advice.
