H. Bentham lives in the Philippines, somewhere North, but don’t ever ask him for any directions. He writes stories where the gays will always get their HEA, collects books that he promises to read (eventually), and brings tarot cards everywhere because he has absolutely no sense of the future.

Despite now living with two energetic cats, he prefers the unhurried and easy-going life of turtles. That’s probably why his reading and writing pace is perpetually set to low speed.

He is @bentchbites everywhere on the internet.

My first book of the year! Definitely a great way to start 2019!

I bought this collection of short stories last year but I was glad that I finally read it.

An Aswang Story by KC Cimafranca was a good start but I was quite confused with the flashback and some events. I think there would be a sequel or a full story by how it ended.

I was somehow sad and a bit disappointed with Unforgettable by Loid Valenzuela. I knew that he could explore more with regards Amir's character and develop Ashton's backstory.

I was smiling until the end of Rendezvous with a Kapre by Cindy Dela Cruz. It brought too much 'kilig' and funny memories when I was in high school. Hiwaga is such a gem and Ria is very lucky to have him!

Mambabarang Boy by H. Bentham gave me a bittersweet taste at the end. Not a fan of Michael but I like Tim. His characterization was explained well in the story.

I probably one of the believers that a Tikbalang is getting married when we have sun showers. But, upon reading Tears and Sun Showers by Johanna Lee, I was enlightened. I enjoy the story a lot!

I had an awesome time reading the five stories! Congratulations to the five authors!
