Amy Ward is a married mother of three, just living the dream in Greenwood, Arkansas. She lives on a farm where she enjoys taking care of her chickens and mules. Her passion is anything outdoors - hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, trail running, and mountain biking. She also loves to spend time in Colorado, where she also owns a condo. Much of what you read from her was written in the beautiful San Juan Mountains.
Amy, along with her daughter, Olivia Cayenne, recently published their third Young Adult Fiction Novel. They have begun their fourth novel which will be a prequel in the Secrets Series. The Secrets Series is far from over, however, as they also plan on writing novellas about some of the more important characters that stole the hearts of their readers.
In addition to the Secrets Series, Amy has also started writing a short story series called Myra: Everlasting. The first in the series is in ebook version on Amazon. It is called Myra: Changed. The story follows the life, death, and rebirth of Myra in the world of vampires.
Book 3 of the Secrets Series did not disappoint. I loved how we came in on Lia and Luken both dealing with life crippling pain of loss. It struck me as I was reading this book just how important written words are. The words from Lia's mom, the notes between Lia and Luken, the notes left around Terra Convex. Words are so important and the author of this book definitely used her words to create a wonderful story. "Be patient and tough, someday this pain will be useful to you." Those words encompass the stories of Lia and Luken. Of course the letter in the front to the Secret Keepers has me already anticipating another book showing the story of the Langston Virus and beginning of the Terra Convex.
