Good book to start learning German. There are many ways to read it, and exercise. I didn't do the passive and active wave recommended, and after finishing I'm not at all close to understand or speak German as I would like to. But it's a good introduction. Many jokes and stories are built on stereotypes, and some refer to old time stuff like vinyl records or telegrams, but in general i had a good time reading/learning from it.
