you find yourself in! A special new operator in a secret government agency, Black Force, is on a job to find out what is going on in Chicago. The intensity never stops as he does what he needs to to save innocents, using a very rare mental agility to get the criminals by himself.
I love this author's books, and these shorts keep your heart rate up waiting for his next novel!

Will Slater, employed by Black Force, a secret government organization, recuperating for his last three assignments, is call back to duty. His job will be to investigate a corrupt police commander, who has had several men die while in his jail.
It's non-stop action from the very first ... and it only gets more so when he discovers what the police are hiding.
These are Slater's early years with Black Force, finding out just what he's willing to do in order to save innocent people from the worst of the worst.
This is a well written short story (approximately 140 pages), with an outstanding character leading the way through an exciting, fast paced shoot-em-up plot.
Many thanks to the author for the digital copy of this thriller. Read and reviewed voluntarily, opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.

This one features Black Force operative, Will Slater. Matt Rogers already has a dedicated series on Will Slater post military life. So this one is a prequel from the early days of Slater when he's just started as a Black Force operative. A police commander of Chicago police is killing homeless people for some reason unknown and Slater is tasked to find the reason behind the killings. The story then turns into a hostage rescue operation. Again like all other Black Force novels, this one too is full of fast-paced, bone-crunching action. If you love action thrillers with high body count, Black Force shorts is highly recommended.

Awesome
Will Slater has quickly become my favorite character of the Black Force operatives. No nonsense straightforward type of guy. I also love that he’s a African American male. There’s not enough authors who are willing to to write a hero this way. Keep them coming so that I can enjoy reading. Awesome short story

Enjoyed it!
I usually don’t read anything less than 300 pages (why bother? LOL! you get interested and it’s over!). However, these ‘shorts’ are a different story...not only are they interesting and well done but I believe they are laying groundwork so read on 🤓

An MR. Black Force Thriller (BFSB - 5)/Chicago
MR. has. penned the fifth SN. In the BFSB. series, which contains Operator WS. So is decent to Chicago to investigate a Police Comnander. WS. had stumbled into the Russian Mob kidnappings by mistake and when given the opportunity he attacked with a ferocious attitude. Has his is an excellent SB. Read for the genre.....DEHS

This is a fast and furious thriller with a lot of gory details. The black ops hero will stop at nothing to complete a mission---especially when he knows there are women and children at risk!

Intense
When will Slater was introduced in to the Jason king books i had a hard time liking him. After reading his solo books I got to see how awesome he really is. This was a intense book filled with raw aggression and I loved it.

This whole series is great reading.This author knows how to pull you in and keep you there! Reading anything by Matt Rogers is a great read for anyone that likes a thrill ride. You won't be able to put them down.

Will Slater in his early days in Black Force, going against a corrupt Police Commander and hired mercenaries, who are perpetuating terror on the unsuspecting public. Fortunately for the victims, Slater is up to the task.

Excellent novel
I was mesmerized from start to the finish. Captivating action and intrigue. I couldn't find a place to stop reading. I will be reading about Will Slaters adventures at every opportunity.

Will Slater is another hero.
First Matt Rogers I've read was Jason King. Then Will comes along and I can't get enough.
Action, non stop and so anxious for the next book.
