Another fun little collection.

World: The art is good, I love how emotive these characters are. The world building is basic but it does slowly build the people and places around Umaru.

Story: Little tales again full of charm and fun. I love that slowly we are seeing a “family” develop around Umaru. Those little moments between brother and sister is also nice.

Characters: The small moments are what drives this book and the character development. From the penny candy shop and the friendship developing between Slyphy and Umaru, to the little moments of parfait happiness with Ebina, these moments are great.

Onward to the next book!

Eh, I don’t know, this series just really is hit and miss for me. I do like the humor, but it’s hard to like Umaru at times.

Now things are just getting complicated... like Ranma ½ levels of complicated.

Because Kirie doesn't know that Umaru and Komaru are the same person.
Sylphynford doesn't know that Umaru and UMR are the same person.
Bomba can't even recognize his own sister for some reason...

But Umaru has become a more likable character and I'm enjoying her little adventures, especially the penny candy shop. That one felt like Laid-Back Camp.

This series has 12 volumes.

At least Umaru showed some personal growth for supporting her brother by making dinner which she thought it was a downfall project. Turns out her brother's project was selected for promotion. I'm not comfortable that her brother's coworker was checking out underage girls...

I really liked seeing Umaru in a sort of “big sister” role with Sylphyn. It’s a nice contrast to her usual super cute version lol

This one is my favorite bu far in the series because it shows a caring side of Umaru.

This title continues to stay strong through the fourth volume. This volume just makes me love her that much more.
