Nitta's rival/counterpart was hilarious. Seeing Nitta be this struggling father-figure the entire series, and now here comes a dude denying fatherhood to be interpreted as a creepy fetish man... that got me! And Anzu's art chapter, seeing her try so hard and have everyone praise her for garbage was hilarious. It's been a few volumes since this series had a real clear standout chapter and this one had two of them!
Hinamatsuri has become a real ensemble series with chapters in this volume devoted to secondary and tertiary characters interacting without the main characters at all. But Hina still gets plenty of time, doing her slice of life thing as usual, but also confronting a new character with psychokinetic powers. How long before she has him hanging out and playing video games with her?
There’s some progress in the overall story here, I expect the next few volumes will likely start the endgame of the series. Other than that, great comedy and a lot of laugh out loud scenes.
