A Charity Styles Novel

When her position with the government is eliminated, Charity Styles is faced with an uncertain future. The only part of her previous life that she truly enjoyed was sailing her classic sloop. The cruising lifestyle is wonderful and helps keep her mind centered, as she sails from one anchorage to another, looking for her true calling.

But there are hidden dangers: marauding pirates, psychopaths, and drug smugglers run rampant throughout the Caribbean, leaving pain and suffering in their wake..

In the Bahamas, someone close to Charity falls victim to the brutality, leaving her alone and despondent with nobody to turn to. She wants revenge, but when other victims appear, she must change course, adjust her sails, and work to get them out of a very perilous situation.

Old friends arrive to help. But will their small entourage be sufficient? And will they be able to mobilize quickly enough?

REMARKABLE STORYTELLING

Wayne Stinnett continues to craft his on-going sagas with all of the information his readers crave without lapsing into tedious, unnecessary details. The stories are breathtaking and keeps the reader engaged to the point of fanaticism. I, personally, anxiously await each new episode as loyally as anyone who has become addicted to “soap operas”!!!!

Great book!

This one was great. I love all of his books, but this one is some of his best work yet. Its got everything you want from a great story. Maybe even some characters from another series. Do yourself a favor and read them in order. They're all awesome. Can't wait for the next one.

Another great one

Without giving anything away I went through tears, nerves and laughs. Wayne Stinnett has a way with words. Reading this and all his books is like watching a movie. I can't wait to see what's in store for the crew next!!!

Wow....

An awesome next step in the stories of both Charity and Jesse. I was getting a little worried that Charity's dark/anger side would take her adrift, and the opening few chapters reinforced that fear. But to tie the two story lines together.....awesome.

Btw...Wayne, have you actually launched a sail boat off of an anchor under sail power? Just curious. The best I have is backing a 36' Benetau into a slip under sail power.

Can't wait to continue the search for Savannah

Another homerun by Wayne Stinnett!

Such a good job, in my opinion, of a man writing from the perspective of a female protagonist. And for not letting Jessie's powerful and already well established character take over when he enters the tale. And I applaud you Wayne for giving us an ending that not only leaves you longing to get the next installment but also gives us a very real moral delima to try and find our own answer to. The fact that this story is ripped from the news reports about it going on right in front of us no matter where we live made me ask myself... "What can I do about it?" Read it and ask yourself if Charity is beginning to live up to her name? Thank you Wayne!

Decent add to the series

I liked this book overall but it seemed shorter than the other books by this author, and I've read them all.
If you like adventure and story's that have to do with the sea and boats then this is a great book for you.
As always it would be best to read the series and not just one but these are written as stand alone books with no cliffhangers or things that matter being referenced that takes away from the enjoyment of the series. Mr Stinnett is a good enough writer that you want to read everything he writes, he doesn't have to resort to cliffhangers to make you buy his next books in the series

The story contunues

I have become a huge fan of Charity Styles, Jesse McDermit and the whole Keys group. When reading these stories, I use Google Earth to locate island and anchorages. Brings the stories to life and makes me want to move to the keys and get a bigger boat. Just can't afford either.

Enduring Charity extends the Styles saga, looks at Jesse from a different view, and overall is a seamless extension of the Styles and McDermit adventures.

I really like Wayne Stinnett's novels. They are action packed and great reads. This Charity Styles story starts off like gangbusters, and finishes very different from other of her novels. It appears that Charity does have a soft spot. The middle of the story seems to slow down some, thats why the 4 stars instead of 5. It was nice to add Jessie and some of the other Characters from The Homeland Team.

Ongoing Adventure and Suspense

Wayne Stinnett does an excellent job of bringing Charity further out of the shadows in this tense and action-packed adventure, e end though it was done at Victor's expense. The door is open for Charity to continue her travels, perhaps with her two young protege. Looking forward to the next adventure of Charity and her friends.

Most of the book was great! Love these adventures. But, I did not like the detailed description of the sex scenes. Could have been just as effective without the detail. I get that these were sex slave hostages, but, I was reading on my kindle on the plane and was actually embarrassed that seat partners could see what I was reading.

Another fine read

Stinnett's characters are believable and his story telling is super. In the book he combines both Charity and Jesse characters in a fast paced scenario. For anyone who enjoys diving, boats, flying and adventure Stinnett's books are a great source of reading pleasure.

The reason this showed up in Goodreads is that I re-read in order to get up to speed on the most recent book from Stinnett, Rising Force. The Charity series began as an offshoot of his "Caribbean Adventure" series and became the "Caribean Thriller" series. It was worth reading again for itself, not just to resynch with the latest in the other series.

Great Read,

Just like all previous books Wayne has written. Fast and absorbing you really never know exactly what is going to happen. The only problem(if this is a problem) is that you can't quit reading. Wayne just keeps getting better with each novel. Hurry with the next one Wayne.

Good things last longer.

Another keeper in this series, a good one in my opinion. The author continues to limn believeable plots and characters. To travel the Caribbean with them keeps you close and interested. Fair deeds and foul occur to major and minor players as the story moves along. Read on.

Putting puzzle pieces togdther

Another Charity adventure gathering puzzle piece, at first unclear what picture will be, but step by step the good and bad parts begun to make sense. This chapter takes us in new and unsettling directions, but life evolves and growth occurs. Onward...

Of the 4 Charity Stiles books from Wayne Stinnett, this one is by far the best. He's really hitting his stride with her, though this one leans heavily on Jessie McDermitt and friends too. It's a good and easy read, as well as a great adventure, and I'm looking forward to the next installment!

Enduring charity

As expected another great read, throwing Jessie into the storey was a definite plus, a lot of great twists and turns in the storey. I wish I did not finish it in a couple of hours.
So now I have to wait for the next Jessie McDermitt book.

More Adventures with Charity

Do not mess with Charity or her family. She constantly battles her demons but is able to that to gain justice. Me. Stinnett presents another great sea adventure.

Charity is a winner!

Charity is a very enterprising young lady that can handle just about anything that she comes across. It is an entertaining read from beginning to end. I will definitely read several other books about her.

Great story. &characters

Really great characters and action. The merging of characters from previous books helped round out the more caring traits of Charity.
I a recommend this and all of the Wayne Stinnett books have read.

A great book with a great ending.

I fell in love with the Jesse McDirmitt stories. He lives a life most of us old men would love to do. Charity Styles novels was hard to put down. I lost a lot of sleep while reading these books. Great job Wayne.

Too Short, Left Me Wondering

Plot line follows typical Stinnett construction. Would have been better if lengthened to include punishment of the baddies and what Charity does with the two(2) gang members she has granted a pardon to.

A quick, simple read!

Book 4 of the Charity Styles novels is an interesting and quick read without a lot of the suspense most of the other novels have. The reader can second guess what is going to happen…although One death surprised me happening as soon as it did.

Another Winner

Enduring Charity is actually my favorite so far as it explores the softer, human side of Charity while still kicking some serious ass! The character development continues to amaze me, but was sad to see Rene passing.
