I was born in downtown Toronto on April 19, 1972 and lived there until my folks moved up to Kitchener in 1991 so I could attend the University of Waterloo. I’ve lived in Kitchener ever since. I’ve been trained as an urban planner, and I’ve worked as a database manager, web designer, circulation manager, administrative assistant, layout designer and office manager. The one consistent thing about my varied academic and professional career has been a love of writing.
Very simple, but well done for the youngs one. The pictures are good, the information are basic but interesting and all is well explain and adapted to the targeted public. Nothing extraordinary but good!
This book is very informative, but I found the presentation of facts to be a little too "dry" for young children. I do like that they used actual pictures of the objects whenever possible.
Thank you Net Galley for the E Arc of Space Vehicles.
Both my sons(2 and 4) loved this book. I kept them interested with facts not often covered in children's books. They loved the photography and diagrams of all the rocket ships. I loved the fact that it didn't speak down or simplify the science and engineering for the kids. It just explained everything in a way they could grasp and get excited about.
Super great for elementary school readers. Nice pictures with lots of information. A lot is covered in this book - could be a good multi-lesson start. Glossary good for a quiz or fast data. Love it!
Highly Recommend!!!
Thanks to Norwood House Press and NetGalley for a great read!
