Born a blood demon, Olivia Martin's sole purpose is to become a blood slave to a vampire. She is nothing more than a blood bag.
With a vampire as her master, she would want for nothing, her every need and whim catered to, but becoming a prisoner was not the life Olivia would have chosen for herself.
At least, until she met Jared and his four brothers-at-arms. Giving yourself to one person was easy. Having fun with two, exciting. But a harem of lovers? It was more than Olivia ever considered possible.
Need, lust, and blood drive Olivia to find a strength inside herself to not only accept her five sexy-as-sin vampires, but to also protect herself from an evil hell bent on claiming her for its own.

What a friggin ride!! I loved these five vampire their all different and so interesting. Olivia is one lucky blood demon!! This book is a guilty pleasure read, lots of hot steamy sex and even a villain vamp to keep it exciting!! If your into vampire erotica this is just the read for you!! Pull up a chair with a extra pair of panties and enjoy!!
Olivia is this young woman raised knowing she is going to a blood slave to a vampire. When the call came that she is to expected to show up for the pairing. She wasn’t expecting there to be paired up with five very HOT vampires. Can she handle that? You will fall in love with Olivia she is courageous and furiously protective. There is so much that goes on in this book , you will laugh and cheer them on. Olivia has to learn what each vampire is like , because each had his own unique personality. If you really won’t to know how their relationship goes you need to read this book. You will definitely not regret it. I couldn’t put it down.
This book is fabulous. It is an amazing story of an older man younger woman story. It is fast pace, well written and interesting – before you know it you are at the end wanting more.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Heads up I claim Jared... and all of the other guys. Julie Morgan does it again with an amazing story of 1 woman and oh so many other fantastic men. The ups are so believable, the differences in the men are vast but all so very attractive. Her choice, their offer and the hearts win overall.
Olivia is destined to be a concubine for a vampire. She is born a blood demon and it is her future. She is not sure what to expect but after talking with the folks helping her get ready for her big reveal, she hears that the one vampire to avoid is Victor. Unfortunately, Victor shows her lots of interest. She does get to reject Victor when he choses her. She ends up matching with Jared and his four brothers! Not at all what she expected it!!
After reading some of the reviews I got confused maybe they all read a different book? I did not like it at all. Oh, I must admit, the idea itself was a good one, but the plot, the characters and the writing style left a lot to be desired for to say the least.
First of all, a vampire stable? Really? Then she was a brood mare? When it was mentioned for the first time I thought of it more as a joke but all characters refered to the stable in a serious manner whereas I could only laugh each time it was mentioned. A total mood killer.
I kinda liked Olivia at first. She was cautious about choosing her vampire, had quite a lot of hangups and in general seemed quite a good example of how a woman faces unknown. However, after meeting her stable (OMG...) she had a quick change of personality and basically after a couple of days was totally dependent on them and in love. No way.
There was no relationship building in this book. While I can understand instalust, deciding that they are her dream stable (again, OMG...) after half an hour talk with each of them (except Jared with whom she had no interaction at all) was way too much.
The writing style reminded me a script for a bad movie. Cliche and repetitive phrases, predictable plot twists made it barely readable. I really wanted to give it only 1 star, but since I actually finished the book (for some reason I kept expecting for it to get better), I gave 2 stars.
OMG so I read the demon and her vampires first which is the 3rd on in this series first but their stand alones so no biggie. Well I Read Liv's story and Holy crap!!! SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH hotness!! I read this book in about 4 hrs because I could not put this book down at all!!! I loved the story between liv and her 5 (yes you read that right 5!!!) Vampires! In this book you see how much liv grows and develops as a concubine. At first she was against this, she knew her "role" and thought her life would be miserable and she would be because a blood bag. She changes so much over the book and the relationship she develops with each vampire as well as the relationship they develop as a whole group is just jaw dropping amazing! Your gonna need a fan to cool your self down as you read this book because seriously soooooo much sexiness in one book! I would not say liv was weak in the beginning but the women she becomes in the end is incredible. And the guys in the book are just hot! Julie morgan is an amazing writer and she truly paints a picture its honestly like your watching a movie, and the way she describes the characters you can picture them in your head.
Every week a new story seems to fall into my top ten favorites and I believe this one has made it to number 1. I have been pulled into books before but this one takes the cake. Now I truly understand the meaning of a book hangover.
Our author has made us feel like we were Liv getting to know these men and all these details of the men and the house she was going to be living in. I could see it in my mind so vividly. I lived the individual time she spent getting to know each man. This was pure perfection.
This was my first book that was considered a reverse harem and in the beginning I didn't quite understand the meaning, but I totally see it now and hope to read more of this story. Maybe her friend can find her own.
I promise that if you will purchase this book you will not be disappointed and you will need to hunt up your husband. Or maybe even BOB...lol
As much as I hate leaving bad reviews sometimes it’s necessary. There were a few things that kept me from enjoying any part of this book, which sucks because the plot line is intriguing as heck and I WANTED to like this book. And I tried REALLY hard to like this book... I just couldn’t make it past 50%. BUT.... the execution is elementary at best. It’s choppy and repetitive in places. There are a lot of useless daily tasks (ie: she brushes her hair and then set the brush down...). And what happened with her cat that was on his way to her but still hadn’t made it by the next day? Then there are the characters... they all sounded the same. They were all gentle and wouldn’t force her, yet didn’t hesitate to tell her how they couldn’t wait to make her scream 2 seconds later - and that was before they even kissed. And seriously, please don’t tell readers that a forehead kiss by a male means he likes you more than everyone else... if that were true then there are quite a few men that must love me more than their wives 🙄. Then there’s this real awkward scene the author tries to explain away by saying “we’ve only had a few stolen kisses” where they bring in a volunteer concubine and ALL her vampires latch on to this chick - remember this is a sexual thing and one of the vamps even licks up this other woman’s inner thigh. I don’t understand why Olivia couldn’t have “watched” Megan and her vamps, why she needed “to see her men bite someone else”. Here she’s already baked goodies that represent her guys, yet she wants to see them with another woman? Yeah, no. After that, I was done.

This group of vampires are the sexiest crew alive, er...dead. Imagine 5 guys in custom made suits, ties and dress shirts, sporting designer watches, rings and shoes. Now, think of veterans of World War 2. They have more in common than you'd think. All 5 of these sexy vampires "died" when WW2 was raging and they formed a blood bond. Now, they have a concubine and are really happy to see her, you might say.
I'm pretty new to anything vampire-related. Are they killed by silver bullets? Or is that werewolves? What about seeing themselves in a mirror? Garlic, right? This book looks at some of these as Olivia has reached the birthday for her to assume her role of concubine. She's learning the ropes, too, so I didn't feel like a total newb.
Julie Morgan's reverse harem is one of the hottest I've read. The sex made me craving a cigarette and I quit smoking over 20 years ago. I enjoyed how this author introduced each of the male vampires so that they became individuals rather than vampire #1, vampire #2, etc. We know that one loves painting and the arts, another cooking, one likes billiards and so on. The author then introduces the harem as a group and it is much easier to see the personalities in a group setting.
I highly recommend this author and this book to romance readers who enjoy MFM scenes. Vampire interested readers and hot tub aficionados will be thrilled.

Yesterday was the first time I read one of Author Julie Martin's books and I was thoroughly impressed. I had no idea what to expect, but I loved the cover and the description of this book, so I pre-ordered it. I don't usually do that with author's I haven't read from before. But, I was in awe. So much so that I started reading the book before bed, and certainly could not put it down until I finished it.
Julie takes you on an amazing journey with the main character, born a blood demon with her future set in stone to be a blood slave to a vampire. She goes in to this situation not knowing what to expect and certainly angry with her mother for making this "life" for her.
But what Olivia doesn't know is that she will not be a concubine to just one vampire, but a "stable" of 5 sexy seductive vampires that make you wish you were in her shoes. I enjoyed the character development. While taking the time to learn about each gorgeous man in her harem, Liv goes from fearful to extremely protective of her men! And the romantic scenes that follow are steamy!!!
This was quite a good book, but it didn’t seem to me to be worth the five star reviews other people have given it. I really liked the concept of Blood Demons born to be concubines to vampires, as they could feed without fear of being turned like a human would, if they drank the vampire blood in return. It had so much potential that I felt let down after reading which was a perfectly good book. The characters were a little one dimensional for my liking. We only got to know the surface of each of those involved, even Olivia to be honest. Her reluctance to be a concubine wasn’t explored fully, nor was the way she came around.
The plot was so predictable I was disappointed that there weren’t more plot twists, but I can usually forgive that if there is character development and there really wasn’t much at all.
If you are after a quick and easy naughty read, this is a good one because there is no real thought required to read it. If you are looking for something with a little bit more meat on the bones of the plot, look elsewhere.
I love this book. Julie Morgan is so descriptive with her characters and scenery that you can visualize them and the surroundings perfectly. With that you also get to know the characters so well that if one of them is doing something or in a situation you know how each of the others would have reacted to the situation or what they would have done. I think it's amazing how these guys are in such a tight group, but they each bring something vital to the table. To me Julie made Olivia come across how I feel most women thrown in that type of situation would react....... Unsure of one's self..... Self conscious........ And almost consumed by the what ifs. I found myself trying to cheer her on like...... Come on Olivia they want to be your everything....... Just let it happen hun you'll be fine it's just a kiss. This book definitely has you pulled in and hooked from start to finish, and that's the type of book I go for. Can't wait to read her next book.

Really different from many other vampire romance novels
I'm really loving this series so far. It's a very different take on the whole female mating story... First Olivia is not a human actually but has known all her life that she would be a concubine to a vampire and her role was not certain but she knew it was for the rest of her life... Obviously she gets paired with five vampires and the writer really had me feeling a lot of anxiety for her. It wasn't an easy transition and of course there's a few twists and turns to add to the excitement. Hey, it's a perfect New Orleans story! It's a quick read but well written and moves quickly. The sex is sizzling hot and be prepared for a lot of OMG's to add to the very description of how one female has amazing sex with five vampires! I am really looking forward to the next book that is about her best friend, human best friend Tawny...Read in order to get the whole picture.. I'm going to start it now! Enjoy! :)
It was a good short read but it could've been shorter but there was definitely potential to be longer and better. Personal preference here but to me there was too much filler. Meaning. The way every little detail on materialistic stuff was described. So they got dressed in so and so shirt with blah blah slacks and who cares watch. Just as easily could've said, he got dressed! Anyway. The h got on my last nerve with her wishy washy attitude. Unfortunately it was starting to drag so i saw myself skipping whole paragraphs just to finish the book cause momma didn't raise no quitter! Amazingly didn't take away from the story. Sadly that tells you how much of it was blah blah. Then the little bit of angst lasted about a hot minute and that was it. Well needles to say I'm put off my the author at least for now. Until i prepare myself mentally to try again.
I am speechless and finding it hard to breathe as I am reading this story of 5 hot and sexy vampires all panty dropping worthy. My kindle is in danger of combusting every time I read this story further. Olivia Martin had no clue what she was in for when she agreed to become a vessel for these vampires to feed on. Olivia's senses all came to attention when she was at the receiving end of the lust of her stable of 5 sizzling sensual vampires.
Their purpose was to please her in any way possible and boy did they please her. She had no idea how popular she would be being born a blood demon. I applaud Julie Morgan for her writing skills and ability to maneuver 6 individuals into steamy sex play. I am looking forward to the next book in this series, not sure my heart and kindle will survive.
Born a blood demon Olivia Martin has no control over her future. Though she knows she will some day be paired with a vampire and will be his for the remainder of his life, she is dreading that day. When summoned to the vampire coven for the pairing ceremony, the beautiful young Olivia gets much more than she ever thought possible. Not one vampire, but a group of five vampires she will be blood donor for. This one sure had me fanning myself. These five vamps are extremely hot! In addition to the steamy love scenes with the concubine and her "stable" of vampires, we have a really nasty vamp out to ruin their happiness. Victor makes a great villain. A different kind of love story with a nice HEA!
This felt like just the beginning. This was a pretty quick and easy read and while one real problem arose it seemed to be solved pretty quickly. I feel like reverse harem can be a little tricky and complex especially to make sure each crewmember feels like their own person and not space fillers or copies of each other. Now while I didn't feel these men where space fillers or copies I also feel like wedding really get to know them in any real depth. It was like we got a taste of each one and that was it. I'm hoping these characters get more story later because it feels like there's still a lot to learn. But overall a good steamy story that had its own kind of happily for now that really kind of felt like just the beginning: would recommend.
I have to start out by saying that I am normally not into paranormal reads but after reading this book, Julie Morgan has made me a fan. I had no idea what a concubine was and no prior knowledge about the vampire world but after seeing this scorchingly hot cover and reading the blurb I knew I had to pick up this book. I thought living with one vampire would be hot, let alone five! What really appealed to me in this book was how kind and caring these men were towards Olivia. They knew she was new to all of this and would need gentle guidance and the way they took care of her and worshipped her was so beautiful. Add in the scorching hot scenes that could make your kindle melt and you have one heck of a story! I cannot wait to read the next book in the series!
We read this book for episode 45 of our podcast. Just like this book, we jump right in to the good stuff for our first ever reverse harem novel. When the time comes for blood demon Olivia to be paired for life with a vampire she feels like her life is ending. Then, instead of one vampire, she finds herself concubine to 5 gorgeous brothers-in-arms, and realizes the fun is just getting started. This book is not shy and gives you all the steamy sex you could want and we loved it. Naturally, we still have some questions. Like, does Olivia ever get some one-on-one time with her men? For more of our thoughts, listen to episode 45 of Shhh We’re Reading Dirty Books found on any podcast platform!
HOLY COW! I really do not even know where to begin with this review. This book was so good that I did not put it down, goodbye adulting. I cannot think of a word good enough for how hot it was. I really want my own stable of vampires. There is some suspense that gripped me and I feared for Olivia even though I knew there would be an HEA. Olivia has known her entire life what her outcome would be, to feed a vampire. Imagine her surprise when it is not one, but five! An evil vampire wants her, can her men save her? I loved how we get to know each of the men and how they interact with Olivia individually, then together.
I really didn't like this book, and DNFed at 75% despite having gotten that far. The MC, Olivia, had just gotten kidnapped (cliche much?) and before that there was a good ten percent of the book wasted on a sex scene I skipped. I didn't like the way this book was written, or any of its characters. There was very minimal world building, and Olivia basically had a personality change after getting jealous over some other girl. Bleh. Count me out. It was just written in a strange writing style, with cliche events. Sadly, I spent 99 cents on this book, as I thought it would be good and preordered it. I guess it was a waste. Pity.
I really wanted to love this story but I didn’t. I liked it but it didn’t blow my mind like other Julie Morgan reads. It felt like it was rushed and there was so real depth. I would have loved more of the story and not just girl meets vampires, gets overwhelmed, gets kidnapped and its happy ever after. At first I loved Olivia. I loved her insecurities and the way she held back. Then the next chapter she was swooning over these vampires who didn’t really do anything to earn her love or respect. It was a case of insta-love. Unfortunately, for me (huge fan of Julie) I was let down.
I loved this story and I bought this book a couple of weeks ago, I also bought the 2nd book but on a different site iBooks shhh and they are absolutely fantastic stories. This story is 🔥🔥🔥 and being a concubine sounds good to me even if you have to give a blood donation every now and then, and those 5 sexy vamps swoon worthy. Ohh and don’t forget the bad guy Victor he wants Olivia to himself he is such a bad guy and I enjoyed that too but you have to cheer on Olivia and her 5 hunky vamps, lucky lucky girl. This is a fantastic story and I enjoyed it immensely and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
A new sexy twist on a vampire story!! An intense ride that will leave you fanning yourself!!! What is better than 1 sexy vampire? How about 5?!?! Julie Morgan will knock your socks off with this one!! Once I started reading I couldn't put it down! I never use to read paranormal books but recently I have been giving them a shot and checking them out! Some I have been absolutely disappointed in but when I came across this one I was skeptical at first but I was blown away by Julie Morgan's writing previously so I dove right in and I am so glad I did!! You will not be disappointed with this one!!! To make it even better it is a series!!!! I will definitely be grabbing book 2!!!!!
Wow I have to say I really loved this book..it is the first one of Julie Morgan’s that I have read and the story is quite different with the Olivia’s background being a blood demon..and knowing that her future is set as a concubine for a Vampire but imagine her shock when she actually has 5 hot vampires instead (Olivia is def one lucky girl). As she gets to know her new family in a sense Jared, Jake, Ethan, Landon and Aiden she falls more in love with the men in her life and as well as attracting the unwanted attention of another powerful male that has lands her in danger as well as what the boys do to help save her this book just kept giving and I found I couldn’t put this book down.
This was my first Julie Morgan book. I could not be happier that this was the first one in a series. Loved to hate the villain and loved the leading men. Olivia "Liv" felt like a very relatable character. I want to write so much about this book but I do not want to give it away. This book was way hotter then any E.L. James book. If you love the supernatural then you will love this book. There is nothing I hated about this book. I plan to tell all my book friends this an absolute must read!! Thank you Julie Morgan for this amazing book, I look forward to reading the next book.
