This was the first story that I've read by Abey MacMunn and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was only a short story but it gave me a great taster of Abbey's writing style. Needless to say it wet my appetite and now I want more!

In the kitchen of a cafe, Alice and Madison are talking.

Alice has just informed Maddie that her mysterious suitor has just taken a seat at one of the tables.

"Ah! If only he was a vampire" as in the novels she loves so much, Maddie thinks...

Madison likes reading paranormal romances - especially vampire ones. There's a mystery guy who visits her cafe after dark.
