Margit Sandemo was a Norwegian-Swedish historical fantasy author. She has been the best-selling author in the Nordic Countries since the 1980s, when her novel series of 47 books, The Legend of the Ice People, was published. She has also written many other book series such as Häxmästaren and Legenden om Ljusets rike.

Boken är okej men inte så mycket mer. Liv är oerhört naiv samtidigt som hon har en mycket levande fantasi, något som ställer till problem för henne. Karaktärerna är stereotypa men jag gillar Livs fantasi, även om hon framställs mer som ett litet barn än den unga kvinna hon faktiskt är.

Liv is a 17 years old girl, and she's very imaginative. That makes her perceived as childish and weird by other people. Her family sees her as inferior to her sister who is beautiful and liked by everyone.

Her imagination causes her to lie. Which makes people reluctant to believe her. When Liv witnessed a murder, everyone doubted her words, as the corpse disappeared.

The setting is interesting, however in the end it turns into a generic romance.
It's alright for a quick read.
