Trixie Meier, a club submissive who’s tired of being pushed around, has decided she’d rather be on the other end of the whip. She’s set her sights on Xavier Adams—the most enigmatic and unapproachable man in the club. Xavier’s a regular Mr. Darcy. If Mr. Darcy was covered in tattoos, wore black leather, and was built like a Sherman tank.

Xavier has big secrets, and he keeps them behind an impenetrable wall of intimidation he employs to keep everyone at a healthy distance. Everyone but Trixie. The irrepressibly feisty sprite isn’t afraid to get all up in his face, in the worst and best ways. He’s convinced himself she’s far too sweet for the likes of him…just before he starts stalking her.

When he discovers Trixie doesn’t want to submit to him, but master him instead, Xavier’s sure it’s the most ridiculous thing he’s ever heard. A big, scary guy like him, submitting to what has to be the tiniest Mistress known to BDSM kind? Ludicrous.

But Trixie packs a lot of woman in a small package. And Xavier’s about to learn sometimes the old adage is true—the bigger you are, the harder you fall.

* * * * *

“Conversing with Xavier Adams is as about as effective as talking to a brick wall. A sexy wall, that smells really good and makes you want to rub yourself up against in a completely inappropriate and pervy manner.
Not that there are many ways to rub yourself against a wall that aren’t inappropriate and pervy.”
—Trixie Meier

“Trixie Meier is a kind, generous soul. She helps people, is a vegetarian because she can’t stand the thought of animals being hurt, and she hugs puppies in her spare time. She’s as sweet as they come—way too good for a guy like me.”
—Xavier Adams

“I love rock climbing, skydiving and anything that gives me an adrenaline rush. Now I want to dominate Xavier. Wonder if I’m taking this “I love a challenge” attitude a little too far.”
—Trixie Meier

“Trixie wants to dominate me?
She’s the craziest bloody woman on the face of this earth!”
—Xavier Adams

If someone told a young Sayara St. Clair that one day she would be an erotic/paranormal-romance-writing Aussie expat living in Thailand, she would have snort-laughed and yelled, "You. Be. Crazy!"
If someone told her the same thing now, she would not yell, only nod solemnly. Because that actually happened.

Sayara has a science degree, with majors in both microbiology and biochemistry. Working in the fields of serology and tissue banking, she got to do lots of cool and sometimes slightly weird stuff. She was employed as the manager/buyer for furniture retail stores, where she had a chance to unleash her inner interior decorator. (Interior design is one of her great passions.) And for a time, she taught English to students in Asia. (Hanging about in a roomful of extremely loud, pint-sized humans is not one of her great passions.) She has written ads for TV, print and radio; real estate brochures; website copy; and a screenplay. Now she's writing fiction and has discovered it's her favorite thing to do. She's also learned that writing sultry romances is so much more fun than writing dry old scientific journal articles. No one has sex in scientific journal articles. Not the ones she wrote anyway.

When not writing, she may be most commonly found in a horizontal position reading, in the kitchen baking, in the garden planting, or somewhere else singing at the top of her lungs. She loves music and is prone to spontaneous bouts of dancing.

With regards to vampires and chocolate: she bites one on a daily basis and has had a lifelong obsession with the other. And she's not telling which one's which.

Mind-blowing adventure!

Xavier is quite the character. He's a veteran working in security in a club specializing in erotica. He's the guy who makes sure the domme's stay in line and don't go over the edge with subs. Tall, muscular, and covered in tattoos, all he needs to do is put on his don't-mess-with-me face and nobody gets in his way. He's a quiet man, but with a heart, only no one knows it.... Yet.

Trixie is beautiful woman barely standing at five feet tall, and thin, but strong as a bull. She's been a sub for the domme's for quite a time, and now finds herself wanting something more. After an experience in the club she regularly visits goes a bit awry, she decides she needs something more. But is she ready?

When Trixie faces off with Xavier, hidden sparks between the two suddenly come out in the open, but Xavier isn't ready to unleash his inner feelings. That is until Trixie gets him on the table and provides him a little something he won't forget.

When one of the club owners seeks Xavier's talents to help learn the whereabouts of a young woman, things become complicated, and dangerous. But Xavier's not the sort to let anyone down, least of all his precious Trixie. However, with his inability to open up his heart to the person he loves, will he ever be able to provide Trixie the love and care she seeks?

This is my 3rd book by Sayara St. Clair and I get blown away by each book. Her stories are an adventure involving erotica, character, love, danger, adventure, and suspense all wrapped in one. I found myself turning page after page with anticipation, and I'm quite sure you will too. Keep on reading!

Great job, Sayara!

Keep on writing!

Sayara St. Clair sure knows how to write!
This was my first foray into reading erotica. It wasn’t my preferred genre, and even though it still isn’t, what’s more important than a book’s category is the story and its characters.
Ms St. Clair engages the reader, and her lead characters endear themselves to you because of their complexities: their raw humanness. These protagonists have soul!
Under the BDSM, there’s a real love story happening here. In our judgy and superficial culture, Trixie and Xavier might be seen as lacking moral fibre because of their choice of vocation, but Ms St. Clair fleshes both out fabulously and sufficiently enough for us to appreciate their depths and what drives them and their choices. So, we get the psychology behind what some might interpret as gratuitous sex (in the sense of unnecessary).
Granted, both Xavier and Trixie have a difficult past. Still, I wanted to kick him—this forbidding hulk of a man who I envisioned as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson—because of his unyielding aloofness. And I wanted to kick Trixie as she swung between streetwise and ingenuous. But then we see there’s so much more to them than meets the eye. He’s a beefcake with a social conscience and she’s a natural-born nurturer.
After witnessing the power of love to help Trixie reconcile these oppositional aspects of herself, and to help strip away Xavier’s defences (the final one, a heart-stopping moment for me), I wanted to hug them both.
The sexual tension that builds between these two before they finally get it on is brilliantly worked. And make no mistake; the sex is no-holds-barred. At no time, though, does any of it feel forced.
The author writes intelligently and with verve and humour. (Although … you’ll never look at wheatgrass bread the same way. Just saying.)
So, if you fancy trying out an erotic read for the first time, you can’t go past Sayara St. Clair’s ‘Master Me’!

Read it all in one sitting!

Seriously, I read this wonderful BDSM love story in one sitting. It was a five-hour reading marathon that had me up into the wee hours of the early morning. I can’t remember the last time I had done something like that.

Master Me is the third book in a BDSM club series, but the book itself is standalone and can be enjoyed as a single read. There are characters in the story that the heroine seems to know intimately as good friends, employers, etc that a reader would obviously recognize had they read the first books in the series—an obvious familiarity—but honestly, not knowing these side-character’s backstories didn’t take anything away from the main “Trixie and Xavier” story.

I really don’t want to say too much about the story itself as to not give anything away. It is tightly interwoven and I don’t want to spoil anything including the building of the relationship between the two main characters. So instead, I will focus on the heroine — Trixie — who is wonderful character. She is funny, sarcastic, loving and kind — hilarious. Xavier is my favorite kind of hero—strong and silent—and also brave and caring. Even if BDSM is not your cup of tea, read this story for the characters. Wonderful!

After just one paragraph, I was already clutching my imaginary pearls. St. Clair seems to have a special knack for going for the shock factor early and instantly engaging her readers. Master Me, is now the third story I've read of the Dante's Purgatory series and like the previous stories it continues to shock and entertain. I had so many moments reading this story. I laughed out loud several times, and cringed with my legs tightly crossed at others. St.Clair's smooth flowing writing style puts you right in the moment. I even found myself yelling at the fictional character Trixie to "Just please say the damn word, Red!" I mean I literally yelled that out loud. As I said in a previous review, Erotica is not my normal fare, however St.Clair's stories and characters are always intriguing, and well written. Not just all sex, although there's plenty of it. I Highly recommended this author and series to 18+ fans of erotica. The Dante's Purgatory series will not disappoint!

This is the first book of author St. Clair I’ve read, and it will not be the last!

People tend to look at erotica and think of that book with “fifty” in the title; a book that was much maligned for poor writing, yet that simply isn’t the case with author St. Clair. The writing is first class, and the narrative takes one into the minds of Trixie and Xavier with consummate ease.

The book is basically set in a BDSM club, where Trixie works as a “working-girl submissive”, and as we learn of her past, and her turning her back on her wealthy family, we grow fond and close to her, and understand her reasoning, and are in-trigued by her attraction to Xavier, a security man from Dante’s club.

As the two become closer, we discover more about them, and Xavier becomes more interesting as time goes on, and his activities with the police mark him as a good guy; nevertheless, there’s mystery to him, which adds to the overall story and draws one in.

I am not going to put in spoilers, because it would ruin it for others, and that would be a crime. The story flows with ease, and the narrative is addictive, with dark and sharp humour, smoothing the ride as the characters move closer, albeit with some chicanery that’s done with ease, and the words leap off the page with gusto.

Yes, there is a lot of sex, but it is done in such a way that the detail compliments the scenes. The descriptions are highly detailed and realistic, as are the emotions displayed by the characters. The plot wends its way through, entertaining the reader and causing curiosity to rise, along with the pleasure of reading well-written prose.

“Master Me” is a masterpiece of erotica and love, and is five stars all day long! If you even remotely like erotica, this is definitely for you!

** Review by Gayle from Bloggers From Down Under **

There is absolutely no hiding the fact that that I am a HUGE fan of Sayara St. Clair. I have followed her works from the very beginning so I knew that when this little gem fell into my kindle I was in for one hell of a ride.
So here I am contemplating what to write, and why? Because quite frankly this would have to be my favorite from Sayara to date. Yes I know that's a big call, but guys Master Me is sheer brilliance.
Without giving too much away I will briefly give you a run down....

Trixie Meier, a submissive at Dante's Purgatory has had enough. What she used to crave from being a submissive has simply disappeared. Tired of being pushed around, tired of submitting, Trixie decides that what she really wants is to be a dominant. She wants the control, she wants to top. She wants to be the best Dom she can possibly be.
So with the permission from both her employers Dante and Chris, and with their help and training, Trixie is trained to be a Dom.....And lordy is she brilliant at it.
She knows that she can Dom well, but there is only one person she wants to do that with. There is only one person that she wants to submit to her. There is only one person that she desires.
Xavier Adams.

Head of security at Dante's Purgatory, you can only imagine what a Goliath of a man he is. Tall, broody, all male, tattooed who watches everyone's moves. It's his job to make sure that everyone in the club is safe. It's his job to make sure that Dante's Purgatory is a safe place for everyone to be what they want to be, weather it be a Dom or a submissive.
While keeping his eye on all, there is only one person that keeps Xavier's eyes straying. There is only one person that captivates him. There is only one person that somehow is able to unravel his emotions.
Trixie Meier......That's who!!

Welcome to Trixie and Xavier's world guys.
A world that you will leave your toes curling.
A world that will leave you all hot and sweaty.
A world that will simply take your breath away.

I honestly cannot rate this novel high enough. Sayara has written this with so much passion and intensity that you can't help but feel throughout the whole novel.
Trixie....What a fire cracker. She all kinds of sassy, crazy and witty that I couldn't help but fall in love with her instantly.
And Xavier....Intense, all male and a man of few words. But believe me when I say when he has something to say it's all consuming and powerful to the soul.

A HUGE 5 star read
