In this MMORPG style, video gaming light novel where the game has become equally relevant to events in the real world, Shi Feng has been given a second chance. This time, he will not be controlled by others. In his previous incarnation, he became the Level 200 Sword King, but he will rise to a higher peak in this life.
With reincarnation comes knowledge of what most deem unknowable: Methods to earn money! Dungeon conquering strategies! Legendary Quests! Equipment drop locations! Undiscovered battle techniques! Secrets of which even the Beta Testers are unaware... He knows them all...
Massive wars, life advancement, entering Godhood, sword skill reaching its peak; this is merely the beginning of the legend surrounding Shi Feng becoming the Sword God. Follow his trials through this and many more books to come!
Yep, kind of a trope in many Asian stories for a high level but somehow restricted VR gamer to go back to the beginning of the game with their years of knowledge and experience in the game and totally dominate it. But it is a light, nice mix of lit-rpg and the on-line sort of interpersonal relationships you develop gaming online. Not deep and profound like "War and Peace", but a light, entertaining read that is well translated and well edited.
Except for the first 5 to 10 chapters everything about this book was new. It was refreshing to get back into series. I stop a while back to let the translations catch up but never really got back into it. Feng is moving to a bigger stage. He is making new enemies and destroying old enemies and it was only getting started. Can wait to read the next book in the series.
This book continues the story well, but nothing really seems to happen. It appears to be setting up for an interesting adventure though. My only issue is that this book just seemed to spend an inordinate amount of time focusing on revenge that seemed pointless from the MC's POV. Still a fast and furious read.
I was enjoying the series but when i went to purchase book 5 it no longer exists. There is another series same title different cover when I checked this out ot obviously was a new edit since book 5 of that series did not pick up at the end of book 4. Trash, wont touch this author again
The only problem with this book is you can't stop reading.
This is the best book I have read in a long time. It has action It has character that you can understand. The story line is exciting and I wanted to read more and more.
