The Moth
Riley has known what her future will hold since she was a child. In her family, the oldest daughter always mates with a monster. The tradition has made her family rich and powerful in the city of Deathfall. If Riley wants to continuing receiving support from her family, she knows what she has to do.
Unfortunately, the only monster she has ever desired is so far out of her league he does not even know she exists. In the secretive and powerful Moth community, he is King. It is common knowledge that he will never mate with a human.
But when the day comes for Riley to enter into a mating arrangement, The King is there with the Moth she is supposed to mate. Her future mate appears completely uninterested in her. The King, on the other hand, cannot take his eyes off her.

Another good read

The King groaned deep in his chest at the same time something crunched. Riley raised her head to see one of his hands gripping the bedpost. The solid wood was broken nearly in half.

RATman, Batman now mothman!!... eeeekkk I hate moths.. even if they are a king moth!! Rather the female lead than me is all I can say! ☹️🤣🤣 despite his mothness... still quite a sweet story. That ending tho!! Oh how I lolled at her ‘oh so deep and meaningful’ reply!

Who can make a Moth sound sexy? Adrian Blue did it. ;) Short story about Riley, the human woman, and the king of the moths-monsters. Both secretly loving each other. But the king has enough of the denying need and don't want to give her to another... good for both!

This is a quick, hot, and steamy cryptid read. Not much to the story's overall plot or character development, but it gets to the point and really the whole point is that it's more of a monster bit.

Part of a series I decided to take a dive into. Didn't mind it overall. All stories where linked into how young FMCs come upon a beast needing a mate, accepting a courting of some kind, then become theirs.

GOOD, BUT DON’T LIKE THE COVER
Short and quick but I liked it. It would be nice if there was more to read. I’m amazed at how much was written on just 26 pages. The only thing I didn’t like was the cover the female looks like a stripper. She doesn’t go with the story dressed or not dressed that way.

Even if this was a novella, I easily ate it up as it has all my favorite themes and I've been reading this series for a while and this one has been my favorite so far. I think that this was very intriguing to me since I haven't read an omegaverse or a story with mating in a very long time. This novella felt like a breath of fresh air since it has one of my favorite tropes and I would recommend it, especially since it's a nice short read.
