Charles Swindoll has devoted over four decades to two passions: an unwavering commitment to the practical communication and application of God's Word, and an untiring devotion to seeing lives transformed by God's grace. Chuck graduated magna cum laude from Dallas Theological Seminary and has since been honored with four doctorates. For his teaching on Insight for Living, he has received the Program of the Year award and the Hall of Fame award from the National Religious Broadcasters as well as multiple book awards.

Outstanding Devotional

I have always enjoyed reading any book Charles R. Swindoll wrote. This devotional is an exceptional one, a standout among devotionals. Swindoll’ s well-known wit and wisdom served in daily chunks were an enjoyable part of my daily devotions this past year. I will put this away for a year, but may well re-read in a future year. It is definitely worth rereading again and again.

This is my second year to read this devotional. My sister shared it with me and then we read it together this year. This is my favorite devotional book. I don’t know if it is because Alynn and I shared it and discussed it or because of the wonderful devotions each day.

I highly suggest this one if you like reading devotionals each day.
