“Let me issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who writes the laws.” - Mayer Amschel Rothschild

Author Thomas Herold is a successful entrepreneur and personal development coach, helping people build their dream businesses by focusing on education – simplified and enhanced by modern technology. He now has published twelve books on Financial Terms – Accounting, Real Estate, Banking, Trading, economics, Investments, Laws & Regulations, Acronyms, Retirement, Corporate Finance, The Financial Advisor to Building Wealth, The Principals of Successful Marketing, and Building Wealth with Silver. Thomas is equally adroit in guidance in the self-development field. He has a website– the Financial Terms Dictionary – in addition to his books, that supply the interested readers get started with financial education.

The overview of this book is presented in the spicy Introduction – ‘You would think, that with the trillions of dollars the banks have unleashed since 2008 by the simple act of pressing a few key strokes on their computers, we would bathe in abundance. Sadly to say, just the opposite has happened. Rents and housing prices are skyrocketing. Health care costs rise astronomical and obesity still increases. Most major necessities like cars and housing are only affordable through government’s intervention. Even two incomes from couples are no longer enough to survive. We have more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense; more knowledge but less judgment; more experts, but more problems; more medicines but less healthiness. What has happened to the promise of the industrial revolution to free us from all the burden of heavy work? With all the technological advancements we have achieved - you would think - we enjoy abundance in our life. Unfortunately, in our current monetary system the majority of technology serves money and profit instead of people. This means that sustainability and abundance will never ever occur in a profit system, as it goes against the intrinsic idea of the structure. Therefore, it is impossible to have a world without war, or poverty. It is impossible to continually advance technology to its most efficient and productive states. Most dramatically, it is impossible to expect human beings to behave in truly ethical or decent ways… By now 1% of the population control 50% of all wealth! False and dangerously misleading Wall Street and government statistics you see in the news have been designed to hoodwink the public and apply false economic rebirth and false job growth. Wall Streeters give different advice to their clients than they give their own families. While you sleep at night, while you go to work each day, something insidious is actually stealing your financial future. What I am about to unveil to you will challenge everything you've ever been taught about making money, financial planning and wealth. Te facts you will read may be shocking, shameful, and to anyone who cares about their hard-earned money and the financial future of their children, outright disturbing. These facts may even upset you. They will make you uncomfortable. You may well be tempted to instantly reject them. It's natural for you to want to move away from anything causing you discomfort; however, a great deal of growth and success is preceded by discomfort. You will come to understand why what's really happening in the economy is intentionally not being reported on the evening news; how the exact same mistakes of the Great Depression are being repeated right now. Why the biggest risk in the years ahead is being financially uneducated and how the financial services industry is cleverly exploiting those who are uneducated about money…etc’

In this analytical book Thomas explains/exposes Where Money Comes From, Methods That Legally Steal Your Money, From Money to Wealth, The Law as of Metaphysics (including the Ego-Money Connection), and A Blink Into the Future (Digital Money – A Solution?).

At the end of this illuminating book Thomas states, ‘As an old saying goes: “The mind divides and the heart unites.“ No longer can we rely on the top to bottom hierarchy that has governed civilizations since thousand of years. By 2017 we have grown to 7.6 billion people and in not even a decade, the entire planet will be interconnected. We have started to build the most intelligent network on earth, the Internet. In the future we will use it to create abundance worldwide. Borders will vanish because we will eventually understand that keeping the majority of the people poor comes at a high price. We are very close at the point, where cooperations could produce products at hardly no cost at all. Service will have a comeback because we have the urge for human connection. It’s the human connection that makes us feel good, inspire us to think beyond ourselves, and let us thrive to be our best.’

Step up and read this a fine resource published at a time when everyone needs to know how the financial milieu works.

Self help book pretending to be something else. Not really about money, which I'm sure the author would counter that life isn't about money and that's what the book is about.

The Money Deception - What Banks & Governments Don't Want You to Know written by Thomas Herold is an amazing book full of great and factual information. This book was well thought out and explained in very great detail the beginnings of currency, debt, loans and how our current financial system is in trouble, as the financial systems in place, are failing. Although many may think this book speaks a lot of conspiracy theory, it is actually backed up by facts. The author does suggest a few different things that could be great options to our currently declining financial systems, such as Bitcoin and Universal Basic Income. Unfortunately these systems will take a lot of effort to have put into place and will require testing and planned release. I know that Bitcoin exists now, but it works more as a stock than a currency at the moment as most retailers do not accept it as payment. Overall this was a great read and I suggest that everyone read through it as it is full of very useful and interesting information.

This is an ambitious book, the author is trying to cover so much, from money and banking to governments, wealth, cryptocurrencies… Fortunately, he knows how to tie everything into a neat, coherent package so it is not actually hard to read or to understand.
The writing is simple, surprisingly simple for this type of material. I am not someone who deals with topics like these on a daily basis, but I didn't have any problems following whatsoever. The views that the author presents are interesting and it is clear that he is passionate about them, but I don't necessarily agree with everything, particularly the sections about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I think that there are better books just about those topics that one should seek out. Besides that, this is a very good book, easy to read and very eye opening. Also, one small thing that I didn't like is the fact that this is a print replica so it was not very comfortable reading it on a Kindle. But it was worth it.

The Money Deception - What Banks & Governments Don't Want You to Know by Thomas Herold is certainly a vast book, one that covers a lot of ground. The author endeavors to teach us all financial terms, how debt and currency began, and how the monetary system as we know it is running amok. This is not an optimistic book however, and will really make one think about their financial situation. It appears that the end is near according to the author. Regardless, with the wealth of knowledge the author has, and the amount of information in the book, you will gain a huge amount of knowledge about financial terms and things you never knew before. Herold also touches on cryptocurrency which was interesting, though his take on it may not align with everyone's thinking. Overall, an intriguing, if sobering book, this is highly recommended to expand one's monetary knowledge.

While I liked the information that this author provided and the idea of the book really drew me in, I felt bored out of my mind getting through the first chapter. It was nicely broken down but very little to keep my attention while reading. The font was really small and I was unable to make it any bigger. I also found a lot of spelling and grammar errors that really took the focus of the material for me. While the details were well done the information was provided in a very financial means that really made this book hard to read for me and much more like reading a college book than anything fun. The author does do a good job of providing visuals for the reader but really felt like they could do so much more to get the average person to keep reading this book.

First half of the book uses analogies that are easy to understand. However the second half kinda disappoints in term of paragraph recycling , irrelevant psychological and spiritual topics. The author seems trying to summarize alternatives for current monetary system but failed to emphasize one example detailed enough.

Not bad for a kindle Unlimited volume though

Unexpectedly spiritual

I despise the fact that I'm a Zone makes you write more than 20 words otherwise they refused to publish your review. I feel that you should be happy enough with what we give you... as customers were not obligated to do so.

Money unmasked.

I like the explanation of how money is created, and simple preamble for e-money.
I appreciated that money is a tool for economic slavery.
I believe this should a pre-requisite for all who seek freedom in every sense of it.

Great financial book

I learned a lot in this book. I believe that we are headed to a one world government but it won't be good. Because man's heart is deceptive. But Jesus will correct it all in His timing!

When I first started reading, the exact phraseology was so familiar I thought I must’ve read this before but then I realized he had plagiarized other books to describe fractional reserve banking (he added a few inane analogies that were, as far as I could tell, put there as filler) The subject is simple and should require three paragraphs. Then he leaves the title of the book behind and spends the rest of the book with anti-everything rants (education, healthcare, retail, technology, competition). He sounds like the una-bomber and then offers up nonsensical “no-growth” utopian solutions that ignore human nature. We were happier before electronics ruined our lives. Competition just makes everybody but the winner feel bad so we should eliminate it in every aspect of life, academics, sports, business from childhood throughout adulthood. In business, competition forces companies to lower prices to stay competitive so they have to cut cost and people might lose their job. Some companies might even go out of business. We need to stop thinking about individuals and worry about the collective. Let’s get rid of currency and issue the currency of love. You take what you need and then share all your excess with the collective. At least Karl Marx was focused. This guy wandered all over the place.
