Invincible Until Then: Prophecy of Zargala: Book 1
4000 years ago, on the other side of the galaxy, Gordeth cruelly detonated a Negulus blast that completely wiped out half of the solar system. This evil and invincible being also sent an asteroid to obliterate the helpless crystal planet of Zargala. Ever since, Gordeth's forces have been dimming stars and wiping out civilization after civilization, all because he likes things dark. This sadistic creature savors nothing more than soaking in blood baths created the many creatures he had squished. Living on the last sliver of their long destroyed planet, the Zargalians have waited for one really confused Earthling to fight back. Entertaining
This was a fun read. It had moments that reminded me of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy a little, like the talking spaceship and universal translator and a lot of skeptics of the Earthman. Proofreaders missed the too instead of to in chapter 25 or so and the sentence that said it couldn't possible be, instead of possibly be, but who cares?
