It was a great book for those who have been camp leaders and those who are going to be camp leaders. It really puts into perspective the priority of Christian summer camps as well as how to handle and teach kids and youth. The book could maybe shared more experiences and stories about other people and situations to give examples and give the book more excitement. Although the book isn't very long, so it does well to keep the reader engaged. There was lots of good info to note. Well done Jim Badke.

I’m typically a little skeptical of Christian camping books, but The Christian Camp Leader is a must-read for all staff at Christian camps. It’s incredible, refreshing, and filled with the Holy Spirit. As a camp director, I️ now have a ton of ideas for how our staff and I️ can make a huge difference this summer.

Inspiring and reminds me of my love and passion for camp ministry. Some lessons however are no longer appropriate as camp leaders must strive to remain above reproach and accusation

Fantastic guide to prepare my heart and mind for the challenges ahead at camp. Easy to read and covered all the essentials. Also had some really practical ideas. Read this book if you are in camp ministry (that's not a suggestion).
