USA Today and Amazon best-selling author Anna Lowe loves putting the "hero" back into heroine and letting location ignite a passionate romance. She likes a heroine who is independent, intelligent, and imperfect — a woman who's doing just fine on her own. But give the heroine a good man (not to mention a chance to overcome her own inhibitions) and she'll never turn down the chance for adventure, nor shy away from danger.

On any given weekend, you might find her hiking in the mountains or hunched over her laptop, working on her latest story. Either way, the day will end with a chunk of dark chocolate and a good read.

A man with survivors guilt, a women invested in her work, and one little cub to bring them together.

We learn so much about Dell and we get to see a different side of him. Everyone sees him as a child as the one to mess up. They don’t see or think that he can grow up and take care of a child. They don’t see him.

Anjali works in a demanding field and is on the go working late hours. She has no time for a child and so she comes to Maui to find the kids Uncle, but the more time she spends in Maui the more time she realizes that maybe she needs to slow down and that leaving this little one is not going to be as easy as she thought.

I really enjoyed the surprise that everyone gets when Anjali shows up with a baby. They all think the kid is Dells, but they are in for a shock of their lives.

I have to say I loved how this story played out. Dell struggles with guilt, survivors guilt from the war, and that he is know’n as the screw up in the family. I loved that Anjali saw the man behind what he portrays to the world to hid how he feels. She saw him and what he could be. She was perfect for our rebel lion.

The author made me very sad and made at Dell’s brothers. Why?? They didn’t support him and they didn’t think he could take care of a kid. They guilted him and pretty much agreed without him that they should find a family to take the child in, foster family. I was prod of Dell when push came to shove that he stood up and became the father this little one needed and showed his family that he can be a man, a dad, and a mate. I loved how this little cub and Anjali helped him to heal in more ways then one.

It was also a great surprise to see Moria, the villain she dragon, make an appearance.

Rebel Lion is a sweet romance, full of healing, love, and the power of Destiny.

Rebel Lion
Aloha Shifters: Pearls of Desire Book 3
by Anna Lowe
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a perfect book for Dell the Rebel Lion, it's very emotional just the opposite of the Rebel Lion. This book revolves around Dell O'Roarke and Anjali Jain. Dell O'Roarke is a Lion shifter who enjoys having fun and he is never serious about life. Even though he hides a lot of his feeling such as how much he admired and loved and wanted to emulate his older brother. Anjali Jain is a human Ad executive in the human world, she has no idea shifters of any kind exists; she hasn't taken a vacation ever and unfortunately she isn't taking one now she is keeping a promise she made to her BFF but in doing so she didn't have a clue of what was in store, who would if they lived in her world. This is a humorous story and it's full of great characters. I really enjoyed Dell's character but I have to say Anjali and Dell made a great team with little Joey and baby Quinn it's so much FUN and all I can say is Oh My! There is drama with a few interesting twists, none which wers predictable but so exciting and they keep you turning the pages. You may think you know what Rebel Lion is going to be about but you don’t, the unfolding of the story is fast pace but still Rebel Lion is a solid and great fun to read. I thoroughly enjoyed the description of Maui, there are so many realities in the way she described the islands. I also enjoy how Anna decided to take some licenses with what she is writing to create a world that fit so perfectly into Rebel Lion. Rebel Lion is non stop drama, sizzling hot passion, non stop romance and non stop tension with lots of action. You can help but to enjoy the way Rebel Lion is delivered it's so much of what I wanted to read in this book, sizzling (freaking hotness), tension, the evil characters being put into their place with a story full of action. We all know that each clan member is going to find their mate but how will they do it? Dell is the new meaning to my boyfriend is delicious but never serious most of the time line and that makes their's a phenomenal story. Which gives us readers a all new perfect book to read. Oh Wow did I just have a phenomenal idea they could make this into a awesome series it could be even better than Game of Thorns; they could make it last for 15 seasons; it most definitely could be (should be?) a HBO series it will make the rating go sky high. I know I would be glued in front of my 65 inch HDTV every time it showed to see Aloha Shifters: Jewels of the Heart and the sequel Aloha Shifters Pearls of Desire; The settings for the different scenes are so beautiful with coastal Hawaii, Maui, New York Chicago, and Pennsylvania. I cannot wait for Chase's story, thank goodness it will be out in a few months! But before you read this book, I recommend that you read the first two and I highly recommend you reading Aloha Shifters Jewels of the Heart series as well. They are all A MUST BE READ! I absolutely enjoyed reading them.

Del and Anjali

Rated 1-5 stars w/ 5 being the best

Overall: 5 Stars
Performance: 5 Stars
Story: 5 Stars

These two are my favorite couple in this yummy spin-off. I love how they connected right from the start. It was nice to see how their relationship allowed Del develop and mature. He went from playboy to devoted dad and mate. Anjali was as spunky as they come. I loved how her outlook changed and developed as well.

Something I truly enjoyed was how Del considered little Joey’s feelings after Quinn arrived. He didn’t stop being Joey’s buddy or make him feel left behind/out. He included Quinn in their interactions so Joey felt almost like a big brother to her. Cynthia’s interactions with Del were quite revealing throughout the story.

Still, I have to say that I was a bit ticked at Cynthia and Connor for a while. I could sort of understand Cynthia’s point of view since she hadn’t known Del that long, but at the same time I thought it was a bit hypocritical of her. AND…Connor allowing her to change his mind about Del was just WRONG. I was fully in Del’s corner after that.

We got a brief glimpse of Cruz and Jodi in this book, but that was all from the original gang. I enjoyed the timing of their cameo. I thought it was very fitting.

I'm looking forward to Chase and Sophie's story.

Disclosure: I received a free copy of the audiobook. I also purchased the Kindle version.

Ready Made.....

Aloha!!!! This is my very favorite of the Pearls of Desire, it has been a very long time since I fell asleep while reading because I just couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. So much mystery and suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat to the end.

Lion shifter Dell is happy just being the happy go lucky guy whipping up and serving drinks behind the bar during the day, patrolling Koakea at night and just loving the ladies......There is nothing like living the single life, or so everybody thinks of him, the real Dell deep down feels the pain of loss and thinks he will never have the love that his brothers have.....After all a lion waits decades to maybe find his one true mate and they call them King of the jungle, yea right........But heck because it looks like the goddess has looked upon this lion because he is going to get that and much more, more than he bargained for that's for sure... Everybody thinks he can't handle it though, but he is going to do his best for Quinn and Anjali because it looks like there's a pearl out there just waiting for his mate.

Old enemies are in the thick of things again looking to do harm to all the shifters in Maui.

Wow! I love this 3rd book of the series, I didn't think the previous two books of this series could get any better, but boy did it. This book has an original story line with believable characters and I loved the dynamics between the not just the main characters but the whole group. Although you can read this as a stand alone, you would be missing out on so much from the previous two book, especially as the characters from them are part of this story. This book is full of action and romance but be prepared to shed a tear or so and some smiles along the way. This is one of those books I could write so much about but I hate when reviewers give away too much of the story. I honestly didn't want to put this book down and would have read it all the way through had I been able but it's not a novella so I had no choice. This author has that magic that grips you from the very beginning, that keep you entertained all the way through. If you enjoy Paranormal Romance then you will truly love this book and series.

Another good shifter book in this series. Dell is a lion shifter whose brother was killed in the war. Anjali shows up with a baby that looks just like him but is his brothers. The baby's mother was killed and Anjali wanted to bring the baby to the nearest relative. Drama just follows this group of friends around and it's up to each mate to help defeat the bad guys. Good read.

With a rebel yell... *she chants in her impersonation of Billy Idol* Rebellion. Oh wait, that's not the title, though it does fit. Wendell (Dell), a lion shifter, has never quite fit the mold of what others *cough cough his parents* expected of him and was always, again by them, looked at as less than his brother, Quentin. Dell never held that against his brother though and still mourns his death every day. Dell may play a little fast and loose with his *ahem attention* but there's more to him than it seems. Since leaving the military, he and his buddies have started working security and our learning their way as they go while adjusting to civilian life. But his world is about to be rocked when a woman arrives and she isn't alone...she has a baby that strongly resembles him.

Anjali is a self-professed workaholic, but one constant in her life has been her best friend, Lourdes, forever, and though they weren't always close and Lourdes tended to veer toward questionable behavior, Anjali still loved her and vice versa. And when Lourdes died unexpectedly and under suspicious circumstances, Anjali took the little girl her friend entrusted her with and went looking for his only remaining relative, his uncle.

When Dell and Anjali first meet, the situation is filled with tension, but something else as well. Despite the bomb she drops on him, Dell is immediately attracted to Anjali and her to him. But, Dell has doubts about his ability to essentially become a single father. Though he's determined to make it happen and give Quinn, his niece, the best life she could have. However, his friends have doubts themselves about his decision to take on such a responsibility.

Anjali lengthens her stay, having a lot of vacation time to use since she never takes time for herself, and helps Dell as he learns how to care for a little girl. As the two begin spending so much time together, their connection continually grows as does their love for Quinn, and their feelings for one another.

But, Anjali has to return home, right? She can't stay and make the family with Dell and Quinn that she yearns to have. When Anjali can no longer prolong her time there, Dell and Quinn return with her so he can begin the necessary paperwork to officially make Quinn his. However, a long-term nuisance to Dell's boss, Silas, is somehow involved in what's happening and it places both Anjali and Quinn in danger. Something Dell refuses to let happen.

Can Dell protect the two girls that are coming to mean everything to him? Can he prove to those closest to him that he can handle fatherhood? Will they support his decision? Can Anjali show Dell how good of a man he is? What does Moira have to do with what's happening? Is a HEA possible between Dell and the woman he and his lion both know is his mate?

One-click now and follow along as Dell makes the necessary adjustments, and does so easily and without hesitation, to be the father Quinn needs and the mate Anjali deserves. I cannot wait for the next story. Chase and Sophie have me so intrigued. I love their characters already.

**I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**

Rebel Lion

It was a great love story. I loved the beginning when Leo thought he was the father. And the relief when he found out that he wasn't, that it was his brother's child and the sorrow that his brother never knew about the child. No one thought he could become a father to Quinn but miracles can happen.

I absolutely love this book, Rebel Lion, and the entire Aloha Shifters: Pearls of Desire series!! This is Dell's book and it's quite the story!!

Dell is a lion shifter living life as he takes it. Never too serious, always having fun, things drastically change when Anjali shows up with a baby in tow! And the baby looks a lot like him?! Oh my~ what has he done????

I love how this book evolves! We get the shock of Dell's life right off the bat, but then there is something else going on behind the scenes. Anjali thought she was just helping out her friend, but Dell turns out to be so much more than she could've ever expected! She's falling for him quickly and that can not happen! She has a life to get back to, right?? Only she's realizes things aren't what they seem, and she's caught smack dab in the middle of it!

I've always adored Dell and his way with Joey and now the baby, Quinn. The drama is real though and nothing in this book is predictable!! Anna Lowe makes sure you are on your toes for sure!! Each book in the series can be read alone, but I encourage you to enjoy the entire series! Each is a different couple and each story has their own unique spin on shifters. I have both read and listened to the audiobooks. Kelsey Osbourne is the narrator and she is phenomenal! There are times she is speaking for 10-12 people and I know who they all are as she is narrating! That's some serious talent there!

So pick up Rebel Lion, the entire Aloha Shifters: Pearls of Desire series, as well as Aloha Shifters: Jewels of the Heart-the series that started it all! They all take place in picturesque Maui. With the vivid writing-you feel like you are there! The characters are real and likeable. The shifter aspect is believable and especially intriguing! I can not recommend them enough!

HEART-WARMING - DANGER - ROMANCE THAT SIZZLES

REBEL LION - AN INTRIGUING TALE that I found impossible to resist. Inside; gripping suspense, bone-chilling danger, life-threatening moments, precious moments, and romance that sizzles.

Heart-wrenching circumstances send Anjali Jain to the enchanted island of Maui in search of Dell O'Roarke. Dell is quite the kidder at times and his gorgeous looks have women begging for his attention. Unbeknownst to Hawaiian residents shifters lurk in the shadows protecting all. The unexpected news and bundle Anjali carries with her changes the course of Dell's life. Anjali is a beauty that sings to Dell's soul. To get to their happily ever after they must face the onslaught of the horrific danger that awaits them.

FASCINATING READ - as the characters come alive with witty dialogue, picturesque and breathtaking vivid scene descriptions. The author did a fantastic job showing how Dell faced his new responsibilities wisely. I adore the characters in this story and their love of family. Dell and Anjali are perfect together and the baby is a fabulous addition to this story. Finding this to be an extremely entertaining read {of my own volition without any stipulations, I reviewed an advanced copy.} Without reservation, I recommend this read.

Dell O'Roarke has made a special place for himself since they came to Maui and now there is a big surprise when he and Chase come back from work at the bar and grill he can tell something is up and the way everyone is looking at him tells him it is not something good. He sees a beautiful woman Anjali who has flown from Chicago to Maui she has not plan to stay her best friend is the reason she is here now. Dell seems to have an immediate attraction to her and his lion knows that this woman is their true mate but when Dell looks down and sees a child that looks just like him. No wonder everyone is looking at him because this is something they would expect out of him but he has always remembered what his older brother always told him about protection and treating women with respect. This is the best one so far out the current series. This is an absolute page turner with laughter, romance, pain, some scary moments and kick butt action adventure. Some adult content. Great characters and great story line. Enjoyed this book very much. I voluntarily reviewed this book gifted to me by author with no obligation.

Dell and Anjali were so dang good together! Neither one of them really wanted what seemed to have been thrown into their lives, but that doesn't mean it wasn't exactly they needed. This story had all the push and undenialble pull as the rest of this series. I loved these two and couldn't have been happier with how it ended!!!

Destiny

Dell is always quick with a smile or a joke, but he uses it to cover up his pain. The pain of being the youngest brother and never living up to what others expected, never being as good as his brother. Also the pain of losing his brother while they were enlisted.
Anjali is bringing a baby to it's closest relative after the little girl's mother, her best friend died. She is a workaholic. So she has work even while in Maui on "vacation".
Can destiny bring two people who are totally opposite together? When Dell's lion says that she is his fated mate Dell doesn't think he deserves her or the little girl that is now in his life. But when Moira and her henchmen enter the picture Dell goes into protection mode.
This book is filled with loss but also the hope that destiny plays a part in everything. Love makes everything better. This book was delightful and I can't wait for Chase's book!

Shifters in Paradise

A group of shifters settle on a ruined plantation in Mauai restoring it so they can live in peace. Most were together in the military. Dell's brother has been killed in Chicago, an d a woman shows up in Mauai with a baby girl that looks just like him. The woman tells them her best friend was the baby's mother and her intentions was just to bring the baby to her father's family as the mother had none. They go back to Chicago to find her apartment ransacked and that the mother was murdered. Dell adopts the baby and returns to find a former enemy, a Dragon shifter who his group thought had been beaten, was behind everything--and had also had he brother killed because he would not join her. As always, Anna Lowe writes a story that grabs the reader from the first page and holds her to the end.

HAWAiiAN LION MEETS HIS MATE
I agree with the other reviews here. fantastic story and I really enjoyed learning about Dells childhood, his older brother and the mysterious girlfriend.Although each book can be read as a standmid alone I think its a good idea to read the series in order to fully appreciate these wonderful shifters and the history of the pearls of desire. Some of the scenes had me imagining myself there looking at the sunset and tall palms amongst the greenery, the blue of the sea and the white sandy beach. Well written feel good tale that will leave a smile on your face. There is also a bonus update link at the end of the book if you'd like to catch up with them in the near future to see how they're going. Recommended Read.

Such a great story!

As with all of the Aloha Shifters books this one was amazing . Dell has been one of my fav characters and he always makes me laugh. He is just as charming in this book and he gets his happy ending! I am so attached to these characters the way that Anna Lowe writes she makes them feel as though they are part of the family and I have known them always. That is what I love about her writing. It doesn't matter what book of hers you read you will always feel part of it and have that connection to the characters. This book is a sweet love story in so many ways. Also not lacking in the action that I love! Everyone should read this book !

Dell's story

Finally we get a POC lead! Dell is a lion shifter, he likes the easy life, and likes to have fun. His world changes when a beautiful, driven, executive type shows up at the plantation with a baby in tow.

As always, we get insta-mate, but I'm used to it. However, we do get to see their relationship developing. Also, we leave Hawaii for a bit - that was refreshing.

Pearls of Desire is more about the relationships than the pearls, which makes me very happy.

Can't wait to read Chase's story.

Another fabulous story!

As always, Anna never fails to deliver! You can’t help but love all of the characters and I do enjoy seeing characters from the other stories interact with in the storyline although they are standalone stories. Great character development strong storyline with many twists and turns and again the happy ever after. I always hate when I come to the end of her books and can’t wait for the next installment… Which I’ve already pre-ordered!

Rebel Lion

How does Moira know what they are doing and I can't wait for them to end her once and for all. Cynthia acts like she knows what's best for everyone when she is keeping the most dangerous secrets from them. At first I thought Dell had gotten someone pregnant and didn't remember. At least his brother was not so perfect after all.

The Lion

"Lions and tigers an bears, oh my". Every girls dream when they are the shifters of Anna's stories. Hawaii has always been on my bucket list, but with each book in the series I get closer to my wants. Just to see the places in these stories would make the stories more real. Someday hmmmmm

I absolutely love reading this series and the newest book “Rebel Lion” just proves why this series is so good. The main characters are really well written. They suck you and won’t let you go till the end. This is the 3rd in the series and while you can read them as stand alones I would highly suggest reading them because they are all great.
