A lucidly written book covering various aspects of a working executive. It is different from the various management books I have read in the sense that it covers not only management lessons but life lessons although sometimes I felt that some of those lessons were touched upon but not expanded sufficiently. However, the easy read and various topics touched becomes the strength of this book. The examples are not as many as I had wished and most of them related to the Tata group. It is true that adversity teaches you much more than a pleasant event. All in all a book definitely worth reading.

The details provided shows a very different and illicit process followed by Tata Group in firing a Chairman.
Rest details are written in some what common manner but over all its worth reading.
