A nice entertaining mix of the high school shenanigans mostly centered on Erika, and the Saegusa Twins while the Japanese Intelligence Service is plotting in the background. It seems people in the government are getting a bit worried about Tatsuya. Unlike v21 there is some Tatsuya action, although again it is not really the main focus and mostly as a setup for future plots. Also interesting to see how Erika's is affected by her brother's death and Tatsuya's actions in her life. I do feel the Japanese mage infighting is a bit extreme, or at least rather risky, but than again, it fits the world. All in all, a good read for me and to some extent a setup for what is coming.
i'm still skipping through parts that seem don't proceed the plot in any way and feature Saburou. Other than that, this volume was extremely exciting. Tsukasa Tooyama is very interesting and made for a good adversary. The plot thickens and I'm looking forward to more confrontations involving Tatsuya...

Tatsuya and the Yotsuba are starting to come into conflict with the National Defense Force and the rest of the 10 Master Clans. Personally, I am all for it and excited for next arc. Good volume but it would have been better if so much time wasn't spent on Shiina and Saburou.
